The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 465: That was only a clone
"HOLY SHIT!" Kai couldn’t believe the power he was feeling right now. It was out of this world.
Being a demigod was already a mind-breaking expierence, but now, becoming a god, this was something he was looking forward to, and the feeling he was going through right now did not disappoint.
He could instantly feel that he wasn’t attached to the world, making him a cosmic god. He could feel the difference in power between a demigod and god. And Kai felt unstoppable.
"Oh yeah! This is what I’m talking about! You were holding back on me, Leo!" Kai’s special moment came to an end, and everything around him calmed down.
He floated back down to the ground and clenched his fists, feeling the power coursing through his body.
"I can’t believe you found a loophole." Leo was impressed, but also slightly disappointed. He wanted Kai to become a god at the end of his journey, not at this moment.
"I’ve been thinking about ways to find a loophole for a while now, but nothing really came to mind until I thought of Aion. I remembered that he wasn’t in his main body, so, well, you know what I did."
Leo patted him on the back. "I’m impressed. But this doesn’t mean your journey is over. You still have to get rid of all the Primordial Decay in this world. Your family lives here, so you don’t want them to get hurt."
Kai nodded. He still planned on doing that. Besides, he still wanted to visit every continent.
"Oh, Aion’s Avatar isn’t dead, by the way."
"What?" Kai was not about to accept doing something cool and becoming a god, only for his methods to not deal with his enemy. That would remove everything cool about this moment for him.
"Well, kind of."
A frown appeared on Kai’s face. "Explain."
"Aion has more than one Avatar. This was the one he sent to this planet. I’m sure he will send another one."
"What does he even want here?"
Leo assumed Kai was joking because Aion clearly stated before that he was looking for the children of Nemean, himself, to absorb their powers so he could free himself from his prison.
"What if he wants my body?" Kai didn’t want his body to be taken.
"Uhh, that’s basically what he’s here for. And your children."
"What?! My kids? That bastard! I’ll fucking kill him! I’ll rip that bastard to—"
"Kyaaa! My son became a god! I’m so proud of you, baby! Mommy loves you so much, you know that?!" Cassie appeared out of nowhere, stuffing Kai’s face in her boobs as she hugged him.
"GET OFF OF ME, WOMAN!" Kai shouted, his voice muffled. He was all for motherly affection, but not this much.
"That’s enough, Cassie. We’re talking about very important—"
Cassie glared at Leo with an expression that told him he was in for it if he kept talking.
"On second thought, you can keep doing what you’re doing." Leo folded.
"Son, do you feel powerful?"
Kai was finally free from her clutches. "Yeah. I feel stronger than ever."
"Fufu. Just wait until you become a Titan! You’ll be even stronger! Then, once you finally become a primordial again, you’ll feel whole and complete! This universe will be yours for the taking as it is your birthright!"
Leo face-palmed, and Kai slowly backed away.
"Thanks, Mom. But, uhh, I got some things to do. Don’t you have some grandmothering to do?"
"Oh! You’re right! Come along, Leo."
"But I didn’t finish explaining—"
"Come along!"
"Yes, Ma’am."
"Hahahahahahahaha! Pussy! OOOOOOOOOOOOF!" Kai was punched in the gut.
"Suck on that, bitch!" Leo flicked Kai off before he left with Cassie.
"Now that they’re gone, I should get back to the kingdom." As Kai started to leave, the space around him warped, and he was taken to a black void.
"Congrats on killing one of my Avatars. You’re more resourceful than I expected." Aion smiled, walking over to Kai.
This was Aion’s true appearance, his true body, or at least a projection of it, since his true body was locked up beyond the edge of the universe.
"Aion, I presume?" Kai asked, looking at the man in front of him. He didn’t look too different from the Avatar, but it was obvious that he was a different person.
"Don’t think that you’ve won, little brother. I’ve been alive for far longer than you’ve existed as a fetus. This is nothing but a minor setback. When everything finally comes around, your body will be mine, and I will free myself from this prison our father trapped us in."
"Dude, you don’t sound menacing at all. Like, you sound dumb as fuck. Look at me, my name is Aion, and I wanna take over the universe because I have daddy issues. Grow up and get some bitches, fuck face."
Aion’s silence was everything Kai needed to hear. His older brother wasn’t expecting him to act this way, so he was taken aback.
A smirk appeared on Kai’s face, and he walked over to Aion, placing his hand on the guy’s shoulder.
"When you threaten someone, you have to make sure that you strike fear into them, make them understand how little they are worth. But you, you’re nothing but a little boy locked in his room on time out. Why should I fear someone like you?" Kai chuckled and walked away.
"You will regret this," Aion growled.
"Regret what? Not helping you? Not wanting to become your pawn? Or speaking to you the way I am right now? I’m not like our idiot brothers who followed you and ended up dying for it. Nor am I like our sisters who ran away from this situation. You wanna fuck with me, then come and do it. But once I see your face around these parts, that will be the last thing YOU see."
Aion was speechless, and when Kai saw this, he teleported himself out of the black void, appearing back in the physical world.
