"There, do you see it?" Korrigan pointed into the distance, where a small, black and purple ball the size of a golf ball was just floating in the air.

It wasn’t doing anything, not absorbing energy, expelling energy, or causing any damage or destruction. It was just...sitting there.

Going up to the ball, Kai tried to sense if there was something going on with it, but he couldn’t. So, he tried to absorb the energy instead, but he couldn’t do that either.

"That’s odd. What if I punch it?" Kai wound back his arm.

"Wait! I don’t think that’s a good idea." Korrigan stopped him before he did anything stupid.

"Why? I’m a god now, it’s not like I will get hurt THAT much."

Instead, Kai’s arm was instantly blown off, and he was sent flying so far into the demon world that Korrigan didn’t even know where he went...that was if he didn’t leave a large scar in the ground from skidding in it.

"Oh my gosh!" Korrigan flew over to him, picking him up. "Are you okay?"

Kai’s arm regenerated, and he gave it a good spin to see if it felt right. "Yeah, I’m good. I wasn’t expecting that, though."

"This is why I told you not to do anything rash!"

"Actually, you said it wasn’t a good idea to hit it."

"It’s basically the same thing!" She shouted.

"Is it, though? Well, anyway, at least we know not to attack it. How the fuck can I not even absorb some progenitor decay? This is some weird shit!"

"Maybe you need to attack it again?"

Kai looked at her.

"I’m just joking. I don’t know what you should do."

"Well, I know what I’m going to do."

"Attack it?"
