Hazel spent the last hour sending off the women who came to the palace today and watching as Edgar was surprisingly calm when he returned to the palace and found that his wife was injured.
Hazel watched as Edgar helped Alessandra to the carriage so they could depart for their estate. "We shouldn’t let Sophia’s husband speak to Edgar just yet. He needs to cool down."
Tobias pinched his nose as he could see Edgar getting angry with him for his wife being hurt. "Dominic," he said to the man left with him and Hazel. "Please find a room elsewhere."
"Why? I can’t go with Edgar today because you’ve upset him. After all, his wife was hurt in your palace. There are plenty of rooms in the palace for me to use," Dominic said.
Dominic was slowly moving near Lockwood and while his house was being prepared, he was going to stay with Edgar or Tobias.
"You are welcome to stay. I will get the head maid to prepare a room for you as long as you need but right now, do you mind if I steal my husband?" Hazel asked, taking hold of Tobias’s hand. It was time that they continued where they left off.
"You are the queen. I will find something to pass the time. Excuse me, Your Highnesses," Dominic said, dramatically bowing for the two.
Seeing this just made Tobias want to send him out of the palace even more but he was more interested in what Hazel wanted to do with him. He was yet to be over their earlier interruption.
"What do you need from me?" Tobias asked, secretly wishing they were on the same page.
"I don’t want to talk here. There are too many eyes. I need to make use of your private room again," Hazel said, taking the lead to escort him there. "Will you go ahead with taking her hand?"
Tobias’s shoulders dropped as the excitement went away. He thought she needed him for something else. "I am not certain if I will go through with it yet but she needs some kind of punishment. She hit a duchess. Would it be so terrible of me if I said that I don’t want you around those women anymore?"
"No," Hazel shook her head. "I don’t want to be around them as well but it is my duty to meet with them. Many of them will have or already have husbands who will be useful to you. I should carry out my duty. I don’t want to feel utterly useless."
"You are not useless," Tobias said as she was far from it.
Hazel smiled and like always, she tried to believe his words. "Your parents will be coming to join us for dinner. I must ensure that it is perfect later. We must try to spend some time with Sofia. She is growing up so fast that soon it might be her season."
"Nonsense," Tobias said, not wanting to think of having to marry off his sister.
"What a protective older brother you are. You cannot stop it from happening. I hope you do not allow anyone to suggest a man who will benefit the palace. I know that is how it always goes but I would love for her to find someone who can give her a bit of freedom," said Hazel.
Sofia wished for a normal life and there had to be someone for her in the future who wouldn’t keep shackles on her.
"I would rather not think about her having to get married. Focus on us instead. Would you like to have another ride around the town? I can arrange it when you are ready," Tobias said, wanting a repeat of a day they had out.
"Not right now. I just want us to get to your room sooner. Would it be so bad if we ran?" Hazel wondered.
"You’re starting to get me excited again but I fear that there might be disappointment again." freēwēbnovel.com
Hazel laughed. "We shall see."
Reaching his private room took longer than Hazel liked. Tobias acted faster to be the gentleman to open the door for her.
Hazel entered first, still holding his hand as she guided him in.
When Tobias closed the door, he was surprised by Hazel trapping him against it. She let go of his hand so she could lock the door. She did not need another disturbance right now. The palace would have to be one fire or there be a war for Hazel to open this door before she was finished.
"Did I do something to-" Tobias stopped, caught off guard by Hazel holding onto him to help her kneel before him.
"I wasn’t finished with cheering you up. It took so long for everyone to leave," Hazel said. By now he should know of her intentions. "When was the last time we fooled around here? Why are you so silent now? Of all the times you chose not to speak," Hazel said as she fumbled to unbutton his pants.
Tobias touched her hand. "You drag me here and do this as soon as we come inside. Give me a little warning before a surprise like this kills me. I am no longer in a foul mood so you don’t have to do this for me."
Hazel swatted his hand away. "Let me share a secret with you, dear husband. I have never done this just for your enjoyment. If you don’t want me to, I will get up."
"I didn’t say that. I just asked for a little warning," Tobias replied, touching his chest. He was yet to calm down from the shock of this.
It was a wonderful surprise but Hazel failed to see how the surprise might have killed him. There were very rare times that Hazel initiated them being intimate in rooms like this instead of their bedrooms. Normally he could feel it coming, but she had successfully surprised him today.
Tobias leaned back on the door, looking down as Hazel took it upon herself to unbutton his pants and now free his member which shared the same excitement as the rest of his body.
She was no stranger to it being so close to her face. Since their wedding night, Hazel had been quite the adventurer, being confident in testing out what she was curious about.
The first time he had to guide her on how to please him like this, but now it was long since that time and she had learned how to get him to agree to anything she wanted when he was literally in her hands.
Hazel felt his warmth as she held him in place so she could take him into her mouth. He would not leave this room until she felt that he was perfectly distracted from the problems which arrived today.
