Chapter 1539: Chapter 731: Shattering Evil Intent

The distant Black Fog gradually faded away, returning to normal. Only three more Black Fog Symbionts had been added, which made no difference to the entire battlefield.

The black light in Ake’s hand quickly dimmed, soon turning into a lusterless black stone.

"No!"

Ake shouted hoarsely.

The shadows were gradually fading, and the Monarchs, affected by malicious thoughts, began to recover, their eyes filled with hatred slowly dissipating.

The power of the Supreme Will was fading away, and all influences beyond the norm were restoring.

"Impossible, why? The Divine Envoy’s power is far from exhausted. I could have used it for so much longer. Why would it dissipate?"

He held the black stone, trying to channel Spiritual Energy into it, but to no avail.

Viheler laughed heartily: "It seems even the Divine Envoy of the Supreme Will is not that impressive. Why don’t you ask him if he suddenly had an upset stomach..."

"Shut up!"

Ake roared.

"How dare you insult the Divine Envoy of the Supreme Will. I will obliterate your Divine Soul!"

Viheler chuckled: "Bring it on, I’m waiting for you."

Furiously, Ake pointed the black stone at him, gripping so tightly that the bones of his fingers protruded, with black Spiritual Energy rapidly channeling into the stone. Invisible ripples resurfaced, bringing back that transcendent power.

"Hahaha! The Divine Envoy is back! The great Supreme Will did not abandon me. Die, Viheler, I will make your Residual Spirit wail for eternity in the Spirit Realm. I will scatter your Residual Soul across every corner of the world, never to reincarnate!"

The tension on the battlefield instantly rose, and Jelaba urgently shouted: "Viheler, dodge for now!"

Viheler was also somewhat uncertain, considering whether to temporarily retreat, when suddenly a loud crack was heard as a massive fissure appeared on the black stone.

Ake’s eyes widened as if he couldn’t believe what he was witnessing.

Crack!

Another loud crack echoed as the fissure rapidly expanded, spreading over the surface of the black stone.

The next second, the entire stone shattered. The mysterious creation that had caused them endless trouble and disaster instantly turned into a pile of debris.

Ake’s mouth hung open so wide, it seemed as if his jaw had dislocated.

"No, no, no, how could this be? Why... Divine Envoy, Divine Envoy?"

Once again, the invisible ripples dissipated, and that incomprehensible power vanished without a trace, as the world was returning to normal.

Viheler, momentarily stunned, burst out laughing: "Ake, you’re actually not a malicious thought, you’re human, aren’t you?"

Asa immediately shouted: "You’re talking nonsense. He’s a malicious thought! One of the three main Leaders of malicious thoughts!"

Viheler laughed: "Really? Then why would he crush the stone? Why destroy the only chance of victory for the malicious thoughts? Why give us so many opportunities? I think he’s actually a human spy infiltrated into the malicious thoughts."

This was, of course, impossible. Asa quickly realized he was mocking Ake, and for some reason, he felt a great sense of satisfaction.

Amidst the fierce battle, human laughter echoed across the battlefield.

Ake, driven to inexplicable rage, shouted madly: "You will face retribution! The inevitable eternal Black Fog will devour you, as punishment for delaying the true era of the Black Fog. You shall all die, everyone will die! I will not fail, never!"

With his roars, the hatred in the Monarchs’ eyes completely dissipated. They returned to normal. Mephit lowered her arm, ending the mental control. She said nothing, silently standing on a corner of the battlefield, resuming her Cold Ice strikes on the Black Tide.

The Black Fog Symbionts hadn’t had time to join the battlefield before they too dissipated.

The shadows quickly became transparent, as the power of the Supreme Will faded rapidly, with Ake still roaring.

"Don’t celebrate too soon! The Divine Envoy is merely dormant. He will awaken again, once I find the next Dark Emblem! Your doomsday will come! Hahaha, struggle all you want, little worms. All your efforts are in vain. Your struggle will become my eternal beautiful memory, to savor again and again in the eternal Deep Dark Age, hahaha!"

But Asa shattered his beautiful fantasy.

"Idiot, your mind has been driven mad by the Supreme Will. Your intelligence has vanished, reduced to a fool like the Book of the Future. The Dark Emblem cannot fracture, there’s only one possibility: the Divine Envoy it represented has already fallen."

Ake shouted in fury: "No! Impossible! You’re spouting nonsense! The Divine Envoy of the Supreme Will cannot fall. How could you possibly have that power, how could you possibly have that qualification?"

Asa mocked: "Oh? The so-called Divine Envoy is just a fragment of an outer Soul Body, fused with some scraps of flesh. If it weren’t able to borrow the Divine Power of the Supreme Will, I’d easily cut him down!"

"You’re full of shit!"

Ake was furious beyond reason.

"How dare you utter such blasphemy? The Divine Envoy represents the authority of the Supreme Will. How dare you kill him? Aren’t you afraid the Supreme Will will destroy your malicious thought?"

Asa gave a cold laugh: "Ake, is your brain broken? I dare betray the Supreme Will, yet fear killing His Divine Envoy? Let me tell you, one day, the throne of the Supreme Will, I will sit on it myself!"
