The Lustful Villain: Every Milfs and Gilfs are Mine!-Chapter 42. It was All Worth The Trust (It’s Time To Break Them One by One)
He slammed into her, wrapped his arms around her waist, and used his telekinesis to push them both to the side. At the same time, he pushed on the boulder that was flying toward them.
It didn’t stop, but it did slow down just a little bit.
The timing was just right. The boulder, which was going slower because of Rex’s secret help, still hit both of them as they dove.
Instead of turning them into paste, it pushed them back with a lot of force, sending them across the ground until they hit a tree.
Rex put his body between Helena and the tree, taking the hit on his already hurt shoulder and back. Pain shot through him, real this time, as the bark broke and his breath left his lungs.
"Fucking hell...! I went all through this just to get their pussy as the payback... what a fucking joke." Rex thought to himself. "But I fucking knew it was going to be worth it... especially after I held Helena like this... she smells so fucking good!"
They fell to the ground in a pile, with Helena lying on Rex’s chest and Rex on his back. The boulder came to a stop a few feet away, having lost its deadly speed.
Helena pushed herself up slightly, placed her hands on Rex’s chest, and gazed down at him in disbelief. "Y... Y-You saved me..."
"You knew it was going to happen, and... you still saved me... even with that condition of yours."
"Yeah... I see its silhouette grabbing the boulder that’s trying to hit you..." Rex managed to gasp, wincing as the pain intensified. "But forget about that... are you okay?"
"I’m fine, but you..." She looked at his shoulder, where fresh blood was seeping through his shirt, and at how he winced when he tried to move. "You’ve been hurt badly..."
"Do you know how to stop yourself from saving someone...? You’ve done enough by saving my daughter... you don’t have to do this to an old hag like me," Helena said with an embarrassed look.
"Don’t talk like that, Helena... you’re no old hag," Rex said with a weak smile. "I’ll make sure to live as long as I can keep going to save someone I care about."
"And of course one of them is to keep you safe, and it’s worth it." Rex showed his charming smile that shot through her heart right away.
Helena’s eyes changed. She looked at this young man who had put himself in danger twice to protect her daughters and now her.
All of this was done without hesitation, even though they were hurt. Rex couldn’t check the system while still pretending to be hurt, but her desire level was definitely going up after he saved her and then said something charming like that.
The dust was beginning to clear, revealing the rest of the battlefield. Elliot had used the confusion to recover, his face set with grim determination despite his broken nose and multiple cuts.
He screamed, "THIS...ENDS! NOOOOOW!!!" and put all of his strength into his sword.
The blade shone with a bright golden light, brighter than before, and power throbbed along its edge. "Ultimate Heroic Strike!"
Elliot flew at the Goblin King like a meteor, his powerful sword aimed right at the monster’s heart. This was his strongest attack, the result of all his training and heroic strength.
It would definitely kill the King of the Goblins.
Unless... Rex got in the way one last time. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
As Elliot got closer, Rex used a tiny bit of telekinesis on the hero’s leading foot. He used just enough telekinesis to cause the hero to stumble again, altering his path by a few inches.
Elliot’s last attack didn’t go through the Goblin King’s heart. Instead, it cut across its chest and shoulder. A terrible wound, yes, but not one that would kill him right away.
The hero’s speed took him past the monster, and he fell to the ground, out of energy and out of attacks.
The Goblin King, wounded and furious, recognized his opportunity. It lifted its huge axe to kill Elliot and get ready to split his skull.
In a split second, Rex made up his mind to end his perfect plan so that in the upcoming future, he doesn’t need to act like something he hated because all of it was done for today.
"Let’s fucking do it... I’m going to get hurt for the last time just to protect that fucking wimp so that by this chance... his girlfriend is going to slowly lower his guard for me." Rex smirks.
He pushed himself up from where he was lying next to Helena, ignoring her protests and the pain in his body. Using his telekinesis, he moved faster than any human should be able to, rapidly narrowing the distance between him and Elliot.
Everyone who saw Rex run at an impossible speed saw him get behind the fallen hero just as the Goblin King’s axe came down.
"This is... the greatest plan of a fucking mastermind." Rex starts to laugh out loud inside his mind that he had done it.
The axe hit Rex hard across the back, knocking him forward and to his knees. The wound bled hot, red blood that stained the ground below him.
SLASSHHH!
"REX!!!" several voices screamed at the same time. Lily, Diana, Helena, and even some of the villagers.
Rex fell forward on his hands and knees, with blood pouring from the cut on his back. The pain was real, and so was the wound, but he had used his telekinesis to make it look worse than it was.
"This pain... I’ve already grown accustomed to it from my past life, where I endured many cuts and bruises."
"However, with my telekinesis, I can at least ensure the wounds don’t appear critical." Rex thought to himself, gritting his teeth to stifle any sounds of pain, unwilling to show weakness.
He could feel the blood loss starting to have an effect on him, and he could see his vision starting to narrow. He carefully used his telekinesis to put pressure on the wound from the inside, pinching off blood vessels that had been cut and stopping fatal bleeding.
He did this while everyone else stood in shock, and naturally, in such a chaotic situation, no one would question how he managed to do all of that to save everyone he could.
Anyone who saw him would have thought he was dead after taking a blow that should have killed him to save Elliot’s life.
The Goblin King raised its axe again, this time to kill both of them. Elliot couldn’t move because he was too tired, and Rex couldn’t move because he was hurt.
This was it... Rex was gambling to see what would happen next after he had done everything he could to make them all fully trust him.
And then... Evelyn stepped up with a determination in her eyes. "That’s enough..."
She moved like lightning, and suddenly she had her sword in her hand, even though no one had seen her draw it. Her eyes radiated a power beyond this world, undoubtedly amplified by the system.
At that moment, Rex saw it. Evelyn had been concealing her true skills by playing a supportive role while Elliot received all the credit.
But the sight of her boyfriend almost dying and Rex sacrificing his life to save him shattered any control she had over herself.
"I’ll finish this right now," Evelyn said in a cold, firm voice.
Her blade moved in a way that was too quick to follow, leaving a trail of light behind it. In the brief moment between heartbeats, she positioned herself behind the Goblin King.
"Holy shit... she’s fast..." Rex was shocked seeing she had an OP skill.
There was a moment of perfect stillness.
Then the Goblin King’s head came off its shoulders and hit the ground with a wet thump. Its huge body swayed for a moment before falling to the ground, really dead this time.
Evelyn stood over the dead body with a clean blade, her face carefully blank. But when her eyes found Rex lying on the ground, bleeding and unconscious, they held something complicated.
It was gratitude, and even higher than that, it was respect. Perhaps this marked the beginning of her trust in him, as he had just proven his worth.
And now... just because of that, Evelyn had shown them how powerful she was. Rex’s rescue of Elliot unveiled a secret she had evidently been hiding.
Rex didn’t expect that at all, but it’s still part of the plan and perfect in every way.
"Heh... I’ve won..." Rex smirks.
Rex let his arms go limp and fell all the way to the ground. His telekinesis kept the pressure on the wound, which kept him from really dying, but to everyone else, it looked like he was getting weaker and weaker.
"Rex, no...! Stay with me!" Lily said, her hands glowing with healing magic and tears streaming down her face.
"Oi! Don’t you dare die like that...!" Diana said, putting her hands on her sister’s to help with the healing.
Helena pushed through, and her stronger magic was already casting healing spells. "That’s enough, girls! Let your mother handle this!"
Rex felt satisfied seeing Lily, Diana, and even Helena tried to help him. He knew their desire had likely increased, and all he had to do was execute it more until he could get them all at once.
Elliot crawled over, his face pale with shock and shame. "Why... why would you save me, Rex...?"
"I’ve failed as a hero... just because I let someone save me!"
Rex smiled weakly, even though his lips were bleeding. "Because... heroes shouldn’t die... in a dumb way..."
"But all of that bullshit was a lie... of course..." Rex thought to himself.
Then he slowly closed his eyes and trusted his telekinesis to keep him alive while everyone else freaked out.
"Shit... I can’t keep my eyes open... I’m fucking exhausted..."
"Oh well... when I wake up... it’s time to make another plan..."
He had gotten hurt in ways that would have killed a normal person. He had saved three Starlights, one of whom was the hero himself.
He made Evelyn show her hidden power because he was grateful and respected her. And all of this would make him seem like a trustworthy, heroic person who was worth protecting and trusting.
The manipulation had gone perfectly.
Now he just had to get through the aftermath and enjoy the benefits...
