The Rise Of The No. 1 Hunter-Chapter 152: SKYFALL SHOWDOWN
Too fast to track, too precise to block, he appeared directly in front of Jin before the man could react.
Without hesitation, Raito grabbed Jin by the throat, his grip iron-tight.
He lifted him effortlessly, then drove his right fist into Jin's throat—and immediately followed with a strike to the jaw.
BOOM!
Jin's body erupted backward, shattering everything in its path. Floors of the skyscraper crumbled beneath him one after another. Ceiling after ceiling collapsed, glass and steel raining down in a storm of destruction.
Still flying upward, Jin smashed through floor after floor, the force carrying him to the very top of the skyscraper.
Raito's lightning aura simmered around him, calm and controlled, as the room shook violently from the impact.
Every additional S-rank present activated their aura at once. Power surged outward, their presence rippling across the city—across the world—as Raito struck again.
He punched one of them cleanly across the room.
Another charged in.
Raito pivoted and kicked him mid-motion, sending him crashing into the concrete. Before a third could even react, Raito grabbed him by the face and slammed his head straight into the floor, cracking the reinforced concrete beneath them.
Then—
He felt it.
An aura.
From above.
Something moved with terrifying speed, descending from the top of the skyscraper—
BOOM!
Jin crashed back into the room like a meteor. The impact lifted everything into the air—tables, shattered glass, bodies—before slamming them back down. The entire building shook violently as lightning wrapped around Jin's body, roaring like a living storm.
"What the hell…?" someone whispered.
Jin straightened slowly, electricity raging around him.
"It's time I teach a nobody like you a lesson," Jin said coldly. "You crossed the line. And after humiliating me…"
His eyes burned with killing intent.
"The only thing I want now… is to kill you."
The lightning around him intensified, cracking through the walls and ceiling.
Raito stared at him calmly.
"Oh," he said, almost amused. "Now I remember who you are."
His eyes sharpened.
"You're the one they call the fastest—and one of the strongest—in the world."
Jin vanished.
He reappeared directly in front of Raito, moving at insane speed.
Raito raised his palm—
SLAM!
His strike crashed into Jin's chest, detonating upward. Jin's body was launched straight through the ceiling—
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
They tore through floor after floor, smashing through reinforced levels as they rocketed upward toward the top of the skyscraper.
In the next instant, they burst out into open air.
Wind howled as they hovered above the skyscraper, lightning and aura colliding violently around them. The city stretched out below, tiny and distant, as the two faced each other midair.
Then—
They flew at each other.
Fists collided.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Shockwaves rippled through the sky as they exchanged blows at impossible speed, each strike cracking the air itself as the battle truly began.
"That was really strong for an A-rank on tactical skill," Raito muttered, trading punches with Jin. "But I'm holding back… not even using five percent of my full strength. And I can't even tell if he's giving his all."
The two clashed midair, lightning crackling around them, each strike shaking the skyscraper and the air itself.
Then Raito felt movement from above.
A figure shot out of the skyscraper with blinding speed—it was Takuro, a Tempest Walker, an S-rank hunter capable of controlling wind and storms. His aura roared as he surged toward the battlefield.
From another side, another hunter appeared: Yoshiru, also S-rank. Frost condensed around him, forming weapons and barriers as he rose. With precise control, he created a massive ice spear, the design sharp and jagged like a roof, and hurled it toward Raito.
The spear multiplied—splitting into seven projectiles, all barreling toward him.
Raito's eyes narrowed. With a flick of his hand, he summoned a barrier, slamming it outward. All seven ice spears slammed against it in unison—clash!—shattering into shards.
By his side, Takuro created a raging storm. Wind whipped violently, tossing debris and throwing himself into attacks as he surged toward Raito.
Raito met him head-on, his fist colliding with Takuro's strike. The force was tremendous, and as Takuro came closer, Raito increased his strength slightly. He struck cleanly into Takuro's stomach, sending him hurtling backward at insane speed.
Takuro slammed into a nearby building, then grabbed its edge to stop his fall.
Raito followed immediately, closing in.
Takuro raised his hand at lightning speed, slamming it into Raito's face—an explosion erupted, scattering debris and forcing Raito to release his grip.
Takuro smiled, arrogant.
"The biggest mistake you made was coming here," he said.
Then he froze.
Raito had vanished.
Seconds later, Raito reappeared directly in front of him. Without hesitation, he swung his leg upward, the back of his foot smashing down on the top of Takuro's head.
CRASH!
Takuro was sent plummeting down to the scrap heap below. He hit the metal and concrete with a deafening impact, leaving a deep crack at the top of the heap.
Jin slowly rose from the wrecked building below, dust and debris falling from his torn clothes. His eyes locked on Raito, unflinching.
"This… this fight is strong," he muttered, voice low. "But it doesn't matter."
Lightning flared across his body once again, crackling and illuminating the skyscrapers around them.
Then, with terrifying speed—BOOM!—he surged into the air.
Unseen by most at first, the clash had already caught the attention of far-off citizens. Some watched in awe, pointing to the sky. Others reached for their phones, recording the impossible spectacle.
A helicopter appeared above, reporters scrambling for the best shot.
"We're reporting live from the Combined Hunter Association," a newscaster's voice rang out, trembling with disbelief. "It appears Raito—Raiko, as some call him, the man who cleared one of the strongest dungeons in history—is currently clashing with the Hunter Association itself. This may be because an S-rank hunter, intended to clear that same dungeon, was defeated… and apparently disrespected. The situation is escalating!"
Back on the battlefield, the camera caught the moment perfectly.
Jin flew directly at Raito, eyes blazing. His hand surged with lightning, forming a crackling energy bolt aimed straight at Raito.
Raito's eyes narrowed. With a flick of his hand, he grabbed the lightning and crushed it instantly, turning it into nothing.
Jin's aura flared even more violently. He raised both hands, forming a massive ball of lightning, pulsating with destructive energy. He hurled it forward.
BOOM!
Raito met it with both hands, slamming it and squashing the lightning ball into nothing again. The explosion rocked the air, sending nearby debris spiraling.
Without pause, Jin surged forward at impossible speed, and the two collided midair. Fists and lightning smashed together, trading blows that sent shockwaves across the surrounding buildings.
Then, Yakuro raised his hand toward Raito.
Ice condensed instantly, forming a massive ice cannon in his grip, jagged and enormous. The camera crews and citizens below could barely comprehend the sight, every movement captured on video.
With a roar of power, Yakuro fired the ice cannon at Raito. The projectile shot forward at insane speed, the air around it cracking from the cold and velocity.
Raito didn't flinch. He reached out, grabbed the enormous ice blade, and with incredible strength and speed, spun it around—hurling it back toward Yakuro.
Yakuro reacted, creating a massive ice barrier to stop it. The ice screeched under the force, cracks spiderwebbing across the surface.
Raito leapt back, vaulting off the rooftop, descending swiftly. He struck Jin midair—punching him in the knee, then in the jaw. Before Jin could recover, Raito grabbed him by the neck and slammed a punch into his face. Blood splattered across Jin's visage as he hurtled backward through the air.
Raito landed gracefully on the ground, not wasting a second. His gaze shifted to Yakuro.
"He's creating a barrier far stronger than I expected," Raito muttered. "Time to show him something more powerful."
Raising his hand, Raito concentrated his energy. Ice formed around him, growing rapidly, jagged and precise—a counter to Yakuro's attacks.
Yakuro's eyes widened as he watched Raito manipulate ice with an ease and scale far beyond what he expected. Shocked but unyielding, Yakuro raised his own hands, summoning more ice, preparing to clash once again.
Raito formed a small, precise circle of ice in one hand—barely the size of a fist. In the other hand, he concentrated, shaping a massive ice sphere, jagged and immense.
With a push of his palm, the huge ice sphere shot forward toward Yakuro.
Yakuro reacted immediately, forming a bazooka-like explosive cone of ice in his hand and firing it toward Raito. The projectile was smaller than the sphere but deadly, moving at incredible speed.
The two attacks collided midair. The ice sphere exploded on contact, shards and splinters filling the air in a blinding storm.
Raito smirked. He tossed the tiny ice circle he had created, sending it spinning toward Yakuro.
Yakuro shouted, "No!" and instantly formed a massive ice barrier around himself. The tiny ice circle struck the barrier and detonated—BOOM!
