The S+ Class Omega Takes Over Again [BL]-Chapter 56: Deja Vu
The temperature of the cafeteria dropped several degrees at his cold tone. Only Yoon Seoyul was able to react unaffectedly and move quickly in that atmosphere. He cupped the side of Cheon Areum’s face with the utmost care.
"Did I say something that upset you just now?"
Cheon Areum icily glared up at Yoon Seoyul for a few seconds before hiding his face in his arm again, without picking a fight. Yoon Seoyul’s hand slid down to cup his nape as he kissed his head many times, until a watered red started appearing on his nape, which Yoon Seoyul covered with his palm.
"I will call you later. Just stay away for now."
Yoon Seoyul resumed the previous conversation with Han Kakta and, without even glancing at him, ended it with a final response.
"Alright."
Han Kakta muttered, turning his head away slightly and securing his hands in his jumper jacket’s pockets.
"I will keep my distance for as long as you want. Just don’t fight with him. He’s pregnant, right? ...That’s some difficult stuff. Go easy on him."
Yoon Seoyul nodded quietly to Han Kakta before he left the cafeteria, not dragging it out with a goodbye.

"You didn’t pay for the damages, did you?"
"I didn’t..."
"Are you sure? I’m still going to ask around."
Bearing suspicions, Cheon Areum moved ahead of Yoon Seoyul, threading through the central bureau as if it was his second home. When it was his second time visiting, but he knew the layout well because he had scored it with his energy previously and knew things even he didn’t wish to know. Walking past the reconstructed area that Yoon Seoyul had touched and toppled previously, his eyes went past a certain spot, and he instinctively stopped in his steps.
"Is something wrong?"
Yoon Seoyul asked him from behind as Cheon Areum cracked his neck to the side, his eyes narrowed on the spot. Was he having a déjà vu moment? He was suddenly attracted to that spot, but that spot only had good natural lighting and nothing else. The sunlight from the glass roof fell on that specific spot, highlighting the silver safety rail.
"That’s a good spot for a picture..."
He mumbled out and saw Yoon Seoyul’s face behind him. In the next instant, Yoon Seoyul was dragged into standing there as Cheon Areum, out of nowhere, started taking pictures of him. At first, he was going to try to get a good picture, but soon he realized that no matter what angle or how clear the quality of the picture was, Yoon Seoyul was perfect in it.
As expected of the main character!
With a rather serious expression on his face, Cheon Areum became engrossed in his photography, as if he was given an ultra-rare artifact to capture within a time limit. Seeing his seriousness, Yoon Seoyul burst out laughing and smiling at his antics. Cheon Areum froze for a moment, seeing the person in his camera view smile, and immediately clicked a hundred photos on the dot.
"How many more do you want to take? We will be late to the meeting."
Cheon Areum lowered his phone and walked up to Yoon Seoyul as he reviewed the photos he had taken. After years, he finally got a picture of Yoon Seoyul smiling. He pouted happily, gazing at the picture, and copied it to many different folders just in case, when his phone was grabbed by Yoon Seoyul.
"Do you have to look at my pictures when I’m standing right here?"
Yoon Seoyul asked him, confiscating his phone from him.
"What, are you having a jealous episode because of your own pictures?"
Cheon Areum teased with a smile, but as soon as his eyes met Yoon Seoyul’s, his heart started beating wildly.
"The Egyptians believed that smiling was the first step to making someone fall for you."
Cheon Areum randomly started speaking nonsense.
"Wouldn’t that mean that you’d already have to be in love with them—if simply seeing them smile is enough to make you fall?"
"I guess that can also be true."
Agreeing to Yoon Seoyul’s remark, he was still mesmerized by his husband. How can you be this longing for someone when you’re already married and permanently marked by them, but still feel this way?
"Cheon Areum!"
A high-pitched and agitating voice ruined the moment for him. He didn’t need to turn to know who it was. Lee Nari really was the only one with the guts to call out to him right in front of Yoon Seoyul after everything, when not even Kihyun had the guts to come face to face with Yoon Seoyul.
"Nari."
Han Kakta, who was also with her, tried to stop her, but Lee Nari fearlessly came over to Cheon Areum and admired his wings, her eyes sparkling upon the soft feathers formed of his energy.
"Are these real? I only ever saw them in a video. I thought it was only your energy coming out in the shape of wings, but they feel so real."
Without bothering to ask for permission, Lee Nari started touching his wings. Cheon Areum’s twitched for a second as Lee Nari’s hand was immediately removed by Yoon Seoyul. Both of them gazed at each other with clear contempt. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"I wasn’t going to do anything. I care about him just as much as you."
Cheon Areum had doubts about that statement, but Yoon Seoyul sighed and threw her arm away from Cheon Areum.
"Can I have these wings when you take them off? I will pay any amount you want!"
Had it been in the past, Cheon Areum wouldn’t have tolerated her, but now he could only see her as a small mob not worth stressing over. In a way, there were a few similarities between the two of them.
"I’m not selling them."
He simply replied to her and curled his wings behind his back.
"Also, don’t touch them. This is the same as you touching my body."
Instead of being remorseful in her actions, Lee Nari was more amazed by the fact that Cheon Areum could feel the touch on his wings.
"I want them even more now."
Cheon Areum directed a frowning glance at her words.
"Kakta."
Yoon Seoyul looked over to Han Kakta, who stood to the side, not involving himself. Hearing Yoon Seoyul call him, he instantly grabbed Lee Nari like a mother tearing away her child who was throwing a tantrum over a toy.
"Master, give me a minute to negotiate."
"Cut it out."
Resolute in taking her away, Han Kakta even turned her head away, leading her straight to the conference room.
"If you have that much money to spare, then consider giving it to the guild so we can become the number one guild, or for a good cause instead."
"Really? Master, do you need money? You should have told me."
Easily swayed by Han Kakta, she was distracted and without trouble followed her guild’s master. Even Cheon Areum was impressed. As the guild master of a healer’s guild, Han Kakta must have his own ways to capture healers with his own Poké Ball.
The reason they had crossed paths with Lee Nari after such a long time was because every S-Class hunter from the top ten guilds, their guild masters—and Cheon Areum—was to attend the conference at the central bureau today. It seemed like the things only a few were aware of until now were going to be revealed to everyone.
The conference room was already filled with awakeners by the time they arrived, a low murmur of conversation hanging in the air. Their seats had been reserved near the head of the long white conference table, positioned alongside the guild masters. A microphone sat in front of every attendee, neatly arranged, along with a few other devices and documents laid out with precision—everything prepared for a meeting where every word spoken would matter.
The conference began once everyone had taken their seats. The chief of hunter operations stood at the front of the room, initiating a presentation that detailed everything they had compiled on the new awakener so far. Today’s agenda went beyond mere data. They would be documenting the awakener’s motives, behavioral patterns, and abilities—laying everything bare. Anyone in the room who could potentially become his next victim, anyone like Han Kakta, needed to know exactly who they were dealing with.
"As for his skills," the chief, Kim Sangook, spoke, turning toward him, "Mr. Cheon Areum—would you like to brief us?"
As the only person in the room who had fought the new S+ class awakener directly, no one was more qualified to speak. Cheon Areum pressed the button on his microphone and leaned forward slightly.
"As an S+ class, he should possess four skills. There are two I’m one hundred percent certain about—and two more that are highly probable based on observed behavior."
"The two skills I’m absolutely certain of—first is an extraction-type ability. It allows him to steal one skill from a target, but only under strict conditions. One of those conditions is killing the skill’s owner. In Kihyun’s case, I should be the only one directly threatened by this ability. However—there is one other person here whose skill is just as dangerous as mind corruption."
This was the one scenario Cheon Areum himself didn’t want to imagine—Kihyun wielding that power.
"Lee Nari, I strongly recommend that she leave the country immediately and go into hiding. Your skill degenerates faster than most, and because of that, it’s one of the most valuable targets for Kihyun to steal."
