The plan was simple: Moon would damage him gradually while I distracted him and maybe landed some hits. We would chip him little by little.

"At least I had an ace up my sleeve reserved for the worst." I thought, looking at my second skill. It held an immense power output, but it also took ages to charge up, so it was more like a double-edged sword, and using it in a situation like this would be a coin toss. One side meaning my death, and the other injury to a slow death.

As soon as the beast was about thirty meters away from us, I shot up. Using my first [Thunder From Hell] to dodge every attack it threw at me. And truthfully, I couldn't have survived any of these attacks without it.

Duck, jump, switch sides, these were all things I had to do with extreme precision, one mistake meant failure.

But this skill didn't just enhance my body, but also my reaction speed. Whenever I turn this skill on, I feel like my body decomposes, switching to a free form only made out of electricity. Every time I move, I think of myself like a current running through a wire. My ears perceived even the ants moving. My eyes saw the tiniest detail of the skin. And my brain, my brain was on overtime.

I could feel it heating up as I ran around the beast's body, dodging any attack coming my way. And in return, with my sword, I struck. A one-sided blade with a rectangle guard painted green attached to a black hilt.

The blade, in contrast with Moon's daggers, was of high quality, deserving to have this beautiful design on its hilt. I could see the retina in my eyes in the reflection, that was how clean the metal was.

I examined the flying arm of the lowly giant, seeing its trajectory, the easiest and most effective solution was to angle my feet a little to the side, that way, traveling at this speed, I would get out of the impact zone before the attack even ended.

But as I tried to put this plan into reality, the beat rotated its wrist and direction. With my feet now angled exactly where the giant wanted them to be, I tried to stop, but at my velocity, this was harder than imagined. So, in the end, I ran directly into its attack.

The first thing I noticed after regaining consciousness was the ringing bell near my ear. No, that wasn't possible, there could be a bell here, it was just my ears ringing from the impact.

My vision was blurry, and black spots infected it like parasites. But I was quickly recovering. My nose had broken but was now working perfectly fine. My ears had quieted down, and my eyes, I had lost my human eyes, and for their replacement, a pair of eagle eyes stepped up.

[Selfish]- The wisest say to lot led revenge get a hold of you. This was proven to be true by and to the wise... but when were you really wise? Is being "wise" really worth mistreating your duty, your revenge? This passive, as long as the user is not thinking of letting go of his goal, will go beyond the earth to help him achieve it. Even if it means the death of another.

I am sure of it, this passive messes with Destiny, then how else would it be able to do these kinds of things? I had no doubt, no reason to reconsider my answer, if I was wrong, then so be it. It didn't matter.

I regained my focus and frowned. This guy was adapting faster than usual, he noticed my style of fighting, so it had placed many traps for me to fall in. Or maybe it took a style it didn't understand itself. Either way, I wasn't going to let it happen again.

I examined the next attack, now thinking of every possible outcome. It could change at the last minute, so I needed to make it impossible to predict my movement. But as I was ready to test my theory. I heard the loud scream of the giant. My ears were bloodshot but healed quickly. I looked down to see that the cause of the scream had been none other than Moon.

I looked over at the damage and then stared back at him with a confused face. With only merely dagger? How could it penetrate the thick skin of the giant? And even more, the steel-like muscles. It should have been like throwing a knife at the wall, but somehow, he was able to cause more damage in one shot than I did all this time. I felt jealous. "You damn monster."

I noticed how the attention of the beast had been stolen from me. I tried many methods to gain it back, but not even running on his face would distract him.

I looked at my sleeve, and out of it, I took an ace.

I took a deep breath. As two wooden hammers appeared in my hands with the team, I struck the air continuously. But each time it made a noise, like I was playing at the drum.

And after I felt like I was almost done, I held my fear back and jumped off. By a twist of luck, I was falling straight into its hand. I tried to change my trajectory and was successful, but only by a centimeter.

I felt my bones being squashed together, and if it wasn't for my passive, I would have died countless times now. But if I cared about not dying, I wouldn't have come on this adventure.

As I was kept in this endless suffering, I remembered about my ace. And even though it wasn't at full power, It was time to use [Earbleeding Music]... the next second, a beam flew into the air of this world.

I couldn't see what happened, as my body felt too heavy at the moment. I was also falling at a top speed straight into the ground. This was bad, I'm not sure I could be saved from an instant death.
