The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 113: Welcome Back
"Sit." Asher pulled out the chair for her and smiled, secretly cheering up in his heart for thinking of this ahead of time. "Don’t think I arranged this before. These suits are ready for the celebrities."
Abigail nodded but suddenly felt underdressed as she looked at her outfit and an extremely beautiful scene. She pursed her lips and, the next second, shrugged.
Whatever. It wasn’t like it was real, anyway. Even though Asher had feelings for her, he would also make sure to keep boundaries, wouldn’t he? He was merely doing this to help her, nothing else.
And even if he wanted to reap benefits from the entire thing and come closer to her, what was so wrong about it? She had already decided not to be with Nicholas anymore, and Asher seemed like a good replacement after breaking off with her unwanted marriage!
Thus, she nodded and joined him happily, sitting on her seat elegantly, controlling her emotions. Even though bipolar, she could still continue to suppress her emotions if she were on her meds and if no one offended her right to her face.
Recently, she did such a good job as Olivia because no one managed to go against her just like that. That’s why she sat and looked at the table with the slightest smile.
But, of course, her expression had softened a bit. She looked at the window and felt like she saw someone there. She hesitated and signaled Asher about it.
"Shh," he whispered, "they are here."
"Oh..." Abigail felt even more awkward, not knowing where to keep her hands and feet.
Asher, to her relief, helped her as he put the menu card on the table, asking, "What do you want to order?"
"Uh...." Abigail flipped the menu only to realize she couldn’t recognize a single dish from start to finish.
Truffle Risotto?
Stuffed Bell Peppers?
Spinach and Cheese Soufflé?!
She only understood the names of vegetables and stuff like cheese she was familiar with. Besides that, everything else seemed to be a foreign language to her!
Gosh, she had never been this confused concerning food!
Of course, Asher could tell what was going on as he secretly chuckled. Her confused expression was extremely adorable, so he was ready to do anything to get that expression out of her face.
He sighed and said, "Well?"
"How about you order?" Abigail scratched her head and thought of a better sentence, saying, "I’ll eat whatever you choose for me."
Behind the window, the paparazzi were sitting and capturing videos happily.
They had sworn to take as much data as possible! This was certainly a big day for them! How easy was it to get pictures and videos without getting caught?
The little reporter felt something was wrong. Hadn’t it been too easy for them?
But when he found Asher feeding the woman with his hands, he forgot about his doubts and continued shooting the videos and photos.
After the food was over and when they stood up to go, the paparazzi finally left the place and entered their own suit, releasing the breath they were holding. They all finished their food faster than ever and left before the couple to avoid attracting the guards again.
That scarred man was too scary!
On the other side, Nicholas finally saw the videos and photos he wasn’t supposed to see when he had free time to glance through his phone. His face turned entirely dark as he stared at the series of photos and videos, especially looking colder than ever upon seeing how close Asher was standing during the photoshoot.
Even Abigail didn’t push him away!
Hah! That two-faced woman! She should be chained up at home only for him to stare at her. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. In the end, Nicholas gripped his phone so hard that another crack appeared on the surface, looking like it was about to break.
He took a deep breath to calm himself down and put down his phone. His eyes looked cold as ice as he stared at the computer screen. There were multiple pictures of the killer who had possibly charged up against Abigail and killed people around her on purpose, and surprisingly, he even found out that the woman who had killed the last was the same person who had sent Abigail the bouquet.
That means Abigail was no longer safe at this place, no matter how you look at it.
So it should mean she shouldn’t continue her act anymore, right?
His finger tapped on the table as he stared at the screen thoughtfully.
It wasn’t as if he really loved this woman. No. Sure, he did have feelings for her, but it didn’t mean he would destroy everything just to be with her. He was a practical, thorough man, and didn’t want to waste any breath on unnecessary things.
He just wanted to keep her by his side because he found her entertaining. Honestly, he did have to marry a woman sooner or later for his mother. She was already forcing him to go on blind dates before Abigail came along.
Certainly, Rosa wanted a grandchild, and he understood, but that didn’t mean he would go around and have dates with useless women who only came for his money.
Abigail was the only odd man out until now who was utterly naive. He could craft her however he wanted on his finger without even doing anything major. So why should he let go of her to marry someone selfish?
He wanted everything to be smooth sailing after he decided on this. But who would have thought that a snake named Asher would butt into his happily married life and steal his wife away?!
No, he had to do something about it, or she would sneak under his nose and marry his cousin instead!
Of course, Nicholas did not care about whom Asher should marry. But how dare the man steal something that belonged to him?!
Finally, Asher and Abigail returned home after a long day. The latter was extremely giddy after spending their dinner outside. Ah, such a nice end to such a wonderful day!
She acted as a villain, and she also had a nice dinner. What more did she want in life?
"So the two of you are back." Nicholas, who was standing on the staircase, stared at them as a cold menacing smile formed on his lips. "Welcome back."
