"To capture a man's heart, it's not just about making him like you or being beautiful. Only by constantly making him feel the sense of crisis can you keep his eyes fixed on you."

He casually glanced around, "Look at how those young girls stare at him, don't you think it's unfair? Don't thank me, normally my appearance fee is quite expensive, but I'll consider it free for you, as you're my royal sister."

Aurelia Shaw chuckled teasingly as she looked at him, "You're quite adept at capturing a man's heart, aren't you? I heard a rumor online saying you're..." Her eyes briefly swept downwards with profound meaning, "Bent."

Andrew Kennedy's face immediately changed, gritting his teeth, "I'm damn straight! There's no one straighter than me!"

Aurelia Shaw lightly laughed, ignoring him, and walked inside.

Andrew Kennedy quickly followed.

Mason Nightshade entered the room and saw the two walking so closely, his face darkening further.

"Mason, come sit here." Sawyer enthusiastically pulled Mason Nightshade to sit down; he had reserved this spot early, knowing Mason didn't like too much noise, and had chosen a corner.

It was quite the corner, separating him from Aurelia Shaw by five or six people!

Sawyer, not only clueless in social interactions but also ignorant of reading expressions! 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Feeling irritated, Mason Nightshade reached out to drink, when suddenly a wine glass was placed in his hand. Sawyer, usually oblivious to human nuances, seemed unexpectedly warm to him.

Sawyer had a plan.

He had planned for the next act, determined to make Aurelia take it on. Though he disdainfully catered to people, he understood the tension between Mason Nightshade and Aurelia Shaw and couldn't let them have any close contact, needing to keep them apart.

Sawyer was smug about his plan.

Mason Nightshade shot him a vicious glare.

"Can't accomplish anything but can ruin everything else!"

Sawyer, utterly clueless about his mistake, shivered under Mason Nightshade's glare.

Mason Nightshade glimpsed from the corner of his eye as someone handed Aurelia Shaw a glass of fruit wine, his brows furrowing slightly, "Have them remove the wine and replace it with juice."

"Huh?"

"Haven't you had enough at dinner? Sing if you want, but no drinking!" Mason Nightshade said sternly.

Sawyer assumed Mason, having returned from the army, disliked such habits, so he instructed the waiter to remove all alcoholic beverages and replace them with juice and other drinks.

...

Halfway through singing, Mason Nightshade curled up in the corner of the sofa, filled with restlessness, a chilling aura emanating within a meter's radius, driving away anyone who wanted to greet him.

"Aurelia, why don't you pick a song?" someone suggested then.

Everyone clearly sensed Mason Nightshade's gaze shifting towards Aurelia Shaw's direction. Whether it was a misunderstanding or not, it seemed to them as if Mason's gaze softened instantly, quite unlike the icy demeanor he projected there.

Unable to refuse the crowd's invitation, Aurelia Shaw got up and picked a song. As the intro played, she turned around and flashed everyone a smile, "If it doesn't sound good, just casually listen, don't laugh at me."

Who would believe such modesty? Everyone had witnessed Aurelia Shaw's vocal prowess during the recording of the "Stardust" theme song; her voice was heavenly, born to sing.

They still fondly remembered the duet she performed with Caspian Parker.

"A rainstorm traps me here

Your indifferent expression would make me sad

The June rain, is just your heartless self

...

Yet why abandon me in the storm?

...

Only silently waiting for you, to change your mind." The song resounded.

Mason Nightshade's gaze firmly fixated on Aurelia Shaw.
