“Flying is much more convenient. It barely took you any time. I will fly too next time I go to City Nan.” Shu Jianyang changed the subject.

“When are you visiting City Nan with sister-in-law? I will take care of all expenses.” Shu Yan had yet to meet the bride. She was very curious what kind of a woman could tame Shu Jianyang.

Not only was Shu Jianyang in the construction industry but he had also moved into real estate. He had bought a piece of land in an auction this year to build his own houses. He planned to build some ten or so houses at the better location and save one for Shu Yan.

He had yet to move and was still living at the house that was given to him by Shu Yan. It had ben remodeled for the newly weds and they would move to the new house after it was finished.

“You don’t need to save me one. If I need one, I can always buy one myself. Besides, I may not come back to City Xi.” Shu Yan didn’t think she would return to City Xi.

She had two children and they were both City Nan residents now. Chances are they would not return to City Xi either. Besides, she had money. She could always buy herself a place.

“What kind of silly talk was that? This will always be your hometown. People always return to where their root is. When you get older and your children had their own families, of course you would move back.” Suddenly, he said the towering Feng Zeyu next to her. It seemed that Feng Zeyu was a City Nan native. “That works. This is Yanyan’s hometown. I am sure we will visit often in the future. It will be much more convenient to have our own place here.” Feng Zeyu tugged at Shu Yan. Relationship is a two-way street. If Shu Jianyang needed any help in the future, they would be there for him as well.

They had planned to say in a hotel during this trip but the bride-to-be had already had rooms prepared for them.

“We stay on the second floor. The third floor had finished with the re-modeling as well. That’s where Grandpa, Grandma and my parents will stay,” said Shu Jianyang with a smile as he drove.

Shu Yan frowned. “Third Brother, Third Sister-in-law is not aware of my relationship with the family but you know it well. I will pass on staying with Grandma and Grandpa. A hotel nearby will do.”

“Grandma and Grandpa don’t think of you the same way they did in the past anymore.” They feel that Shu Yan made them look good and her status now was just under Shu Jianyang’s.

That wasn’t good either. Shu Yan wasn’t the real Shu Yan. She had no feelings for them. Staying with them would b awkward.

Shu Yan thought about it a little. Shu Yan wasn’t by herself; she had Feng Zeyu with her. It would be awkward for him to stay with them. As such, Shu Jianyang agreed for Shu Yan to stay at a hotel.
