Chapter 346: Chapter 246 What Did You Hear?ave in mind?

(Third POV)

~~~Bloodmoon pack~~~
The swooshing sound of the wind blew across the hallway, followed by a cough. The figure who had materialised from thin air clenched her staff tightly, blood spattering from her lips.
Her weird-looking eyes brimmed with anger and frustration.
"I told you we should wait and grow stronger before attacking but you insisted that we had to attack now. Look, we lost half of our people, and the Queen is dead yet we couldn’t kill the stupid redhead." The figure’s silted eyes burned brighter.
"Sister Derailed, you shouldn’t blame me for this, after all you supported it. Although we couldn’t end the witch’s next queen, we had destroyed more than half of them. We just need to take care of the Bloodshade pack and the Chosen." The expression of the Greater Evil leaned toward the Bone witch’s look.
"Whatever, as long as I get to kill, and bathe in their blood, I don’t care about the people we lost along the way." The Derailed witch said, before she burst out in maniacal laughter.
The expression of the Greater Evil changed from laughing to seriousness. "Stop laughing, you sound like a maniac." The Bone witch said in annoyance, they have lost even if they had won, and yet the derailed witch could still laugh.
The face of the Greater Evil changed from laughter to seriousness, the expression kept changing like a glitch.
"Stop!" The Greater Evil held their heads, but the voice belonged to the Bone witch.
"Why?!" The Greater Evil screeched but it was the derailed witch.
"Because you are annoying." The bone witch replied.
"I gave you my body, and you say I am annoying?!" The derailed screeched again as if she had been betrayed. "I know you wanted to take over my body, but you just didn’t expect me to be as strong as you."
"Stop! We need to heal ourselves, and discuss with Alpha Lucas when to attack the Bloodshade pack." At the Bone witch’s words, they walked down the hallway, heading to the throne of Alpha Lucas.
"Did you just brush off my words?" The Derailed witch asked in a tone that would make shivers run down the spines of anyone who heard her.
The bone witch remained silent. Her single ash white eye stared blankly in front of her.
The werewolves of the Bloodmoon pack stared at them, but they didn’t offer any words of greeting to them.
The Greater Evil snapped their fingers, and two of the guards standing at the entrance immediately fell to their knees, before turning into a puddle of blood.
"Why did you do that?" The Bone witch asked, completely fed up sharing a body with an insane woman.
"That had no respect." The Derailed witch replied as if humming a sweet melody.
"You!..." The Bone witch’s words hung in her throat when their eyes fell on the man sitting on his throne. His bush-like beard was almost touching his chest.
His brown eyes were bored, but they flickered with so much mischievousness and death intent. His chest was bare, revealing his huge body and firm muscles.
Alpha Lucas stared at the witch in front of him. He had heard news of the merging, this was the first time he was meeting with the new Bone witch... it was them now.
"Alpha Lucas." The Greater Evil said with a cunning smile.
"I hope with this visit comes good news." Lucas’ deep voice rumbled through the room.
"Of course." They drawled, their eyes sparkling with excitement wrapped in evil and blood. "The witches are no more, the queen is gone. They won’t stand in our way anymore."
A smile formed on Lucas’ lips. "You never fail to deliver, such a worthy ally."
"However, my people and I had suffered a great backlash, so we need to recuperate in your pack, meanwhile tying up every loose end, before we attack the Bloodshade pack." The greater evil said.
Lucas stared at them, he slowly tapped his finger on the armrest. He let the silence spread across the room, thickening to a suffocating feeling.
"Fine, I’ll let you stay in my pack, but you have to give me your word that you won’t kill my pack members however you want." Lucas finally said, leaning back against the back of his chair.
The Greater Evil stared at him, but their expression glitched as if they were possessed, finally, their expression settled to a neutral serious one. "You have our words."
Alpha Lucas rose from his chair and slowly climbed down the little stairs below him. "We need to attack the Bloodshade pack as soon as possible. I need to have Alpha Damon’s head as a trophy, you can take whatever you want." He said. ’And Ember... she belongs to me, and I can’t wait to have her.’
The Greater Evil coughed again, she wiped the blood with the back of her hand, and she leaned weight on the crooked staff she was holding.
"Instead of attacking the Bloodshade head-on, why not attack the smaller packs first, eliminating all his allies. If he lost his hands and legs it would be so much easier to have his head." The Greater Evil said, her voice cackling with amusement as a dangerous glint danced in the depths of her eyes.
Lucas’ eyes sparkled, this was the greatest strategy he had ever heard. "After the war, I’ll reward you greatly."
Thud.
The sound of someone tripping at the entrance echoed through the room like a thunderclap.
Lucas and the Greater Evil snapped their heads to the door. A growl resonated from Lucas’ throat, while the Greater Evil held her crooked staff tightly.
"Allison," Lucas called harshly.
Allison stepped inside the room holding a tray of snacks, her long hair cascading down her back, her hands were covered with reddish purple bruises, and her neck was covered with hickeys.
She lowered her head. "Alpha, here are your snacks." She said through gritted teeth but her neck bared in submission.
"What did you hear?" Lucas walked closer to her, tilting her chin up with his thumb, his eyes swirled like a storm ready to burst.
