Transmigrated: The Lycan King's Pet-Chapter 347 Regret
Allison bowed her head quickly, hiding the panic rising in her chest.
"I... I didn’t hear anything, Alpha," she whispered.
Lucas stared at her for a long moment, his fingers gripping her chin a little too tightly.
Her wolf whimpered inside her, weak and battered from months of being forced down. She used to be strong, proud, and mighty. Now she was just trying to survive each day.
"Good," Lucas finally said, pushing her face away as if she were dirt. His eyes flicked to her stomach, before turning to the Greater Evil who was busy staring at Allison.
"Now that you happen to be here, my Luna needs help conceiving my baby. Is there a potion you can help with?" He asked with irritation dancing in his eyes.
The Greater Evil chuckled, the sound, bloodchilling and brittle. "Sure, we can help."
Allison lifted her head, her eyes met with those of the Greater Evil, she was scared to her bones, but she couldn’t help but think the ash white eyes were familiar, and the crooked staff. ’Bone witch?’ But she dared not utter the words out.
Allison lowered her head. "Thank you for your kindness." She muttered, her fingers gripping firmly around the edge of the tray.
She had been doing everything not to conceive a child for the beast, but now it seems like she had no way out.
"My beautiful Luna, why don’t you go back to your room and get some rest, or you can stroll around the garden and get to know your people," Lucas said, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
Every touch repulsed her so much to the point she wanted to throw up. But she had no choice but to bear it.
She gently placed the tray on the table. She hurriedly walked out of the throne room, her hands trembling slightly by her side.
The moment she stepped into the hallway, she let out a shaky breath.
Her wolf tried to speak to her again, but the voice was faint, like an echo trapped underwater. Ever since Lucas had given her wolfbane, her wolf had been so weak that her presence was so faint.
She had tried everything to help her wolf but they were not effective, but she was glad that she could at least hear her voice now.
’We need to leave... we need to leave...’
"I know," Allison whispered back, pressing her forehead against the cold wall. "But how? There is no way out... No one would help me."
She hated Damon for giving her false hopes and humiliating her all because of an Omega and breeder. She hated the Bloodshade pack and she hated that deep down, she couldn’t forget the cold Lycan King. She had sworn to bring him down as a revenge, but she was trapped in the web she had planned to spin to trap him.
But this place... Alpha Lucas... this was hell. And she wouldn’t forget what Lucas had taken away from her, her pack, her wolf, her chastity...he would pay dearly for it.
Allison’s brows furrowed together. ’If I can get Damon on my side as an ally, maybe I can get rid of that monster. But after all I have done, Damon will not believe me...however, I can send him information about what Lucas is planning.’
Even if that help came from the man she despised, she would happily accept it.
She thought of every path she could take, every corner of the pack, every wolf she had seen. All the ways to escape had been sealed. The corrupted witches were entering the pack, and Lucas had doubled the patrol, not to talk about the rogues.
Her mind spun desperately... until she caught a glimpse of someone walking down the hall.
A girl holding a basket of herbs. Her hair was messy, her clothes torn, her scent faint and almost lifeless.
But Allison recognized her. "Rosa?" she said under her breath.
The girl froze immediately in her spot, fear flickering in her eyes.
Allison rushed forward and pulled the girl into a hug. The basket of herbs Rosa was holding fell on the ground.
Rosa let out a tiny gasp, too shocked to react.
"You... you are alive," Allison whispered. "I thought Lucas killed all of you who refused to join him." Allison’s eyes stung with tears, she had thought she was the last of her pack...she thought she had failed. Tears gushed down her cheeks, and a tiny spark of life burned inside her.
Rosa did not hug back, her fingers trembled beside her.
"I am not alive," she said quietly. "I am just allowed to breathe."
Allison’s throat tightened. "I’m sorry, this is all my fault... I brought harm to you all, this is all my fault." Allison pulled away from the hug, and she began to hit herself across the face.
Rosa held Allison’s hand, stopping her from hitting herself. "Alpha Allison, it wasn’t your fault... It was just our bad luck." Rosa sobbed.
A lump formed in Allison’s throat. She believed, she was the bad luck. If she hadn’t come to seek alliance with Alpha Lucas none of these would have happened. But because she was blinded by hatred, and the pain of being in a one-sided love, her pack paid the price.
Allison cried, clenching her chest, muttering ’I’m sorry’ like a broken tape. She regretted her decision, she regretted giving her heart to Damon. She regretted everything she had done...but now, it was too late to cry.
"Alpha, don’t cry. I’m not the only survivor, there are a couple of us here, but we are nothing but their slaves. As long as you are alive, we can rise again." Rosa said hopefully.
Allison shook her head sadly. "I doubt they would follow me, I’m now the Luna of the man who terrorised you all." She lowered her head again, something she never did while growing up.
Rosa sniffled. "I know you would never agree with him. You must have been forced..." Her eyes trailed over Allison’s neck, down to her hand, her skin was covered with bruises, both new and old.
"Alpha Allison..." Rosa sobbed, baring her neck. An act of loyalty and respect.
