Chapter 39: First Magic Spell

That was amazing, Isabel~ Azael kissed her lips.

"Yes, young master~" She purred.

His hot breath hit against her.

Was it because of Azael’s release which oddly satisfied her and calmed her down slightly from the arousal and excitement she was feeling?

When her eyes fell on the right hand which was slightly covered with thick liquid from Azael’s body. She saw her welding ring on index finger.

The realization finally crushed.

Her eyes widened in terror.

She remained sitting there for a while then suddenly stood up pulling herself away from Azael.

"What? Isabel?" Azael called her.

But her expression was beyond shocked.

"W-what did I just do?" She touched her rosy lips with her left hand fingers.

’Damn! She’s out of her trance.’ Azael thought with disappointment.

"Isabel, listen—"

"Young Master! I will be going now!" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Without looking directly at him. She bowed in rapid speed and turned around. Dashing outside the room.

Not even gathering to clean her hand.

Azael remained sitting there with mouth open.

"Hah... well anyways."

He shook his head dissatisfied. His cock still semi erect. He ignored the arousal he was still feeling. He put back his little brother inside his trouser. Getting up he walked toward the incense that was still burning. It was burned more than half. Azael stopped its burning.

"Can’t waste it..."

A small smile spread on his face.

He was not able to take her completely to bed. But that was okay. He didn’t want to take steps so fast.

He need to get more closer to her emotionally. He needed to normalize this kind of things between her and him slowly.

Emotions are important. He might have taken this chance to have sex with her. Even made her feel good. But after that the relationship between them might break.

Even what happened today was by no means small thing.

"Hah... I have to face her... and I know she will do her best to avoid me." Azael chuckled lightly while shaking his head.

---

Next day.

The training room was quiet except for the faint crackling sounds of fire.

Azael stood in the middle of the large stone training hall. The walls were made of thick gray stone, engraved with faint magic-resistant runes.

The floor had many burn marks, cracks, and blackened circles from previous training sessions. This place was clearly used for destructive magic practice.

In front of him stood his big sister, Arista.

She was wearing her training outfit. Tight black trousers, leather boots, a white shirt with rolled sleeves. That shirt showed the perfect curves of her big breasts.

Her red hair tied in high ponytail. A sword rested at her waist, but today she was not here to teach him swordsmanship.

She was here to teach him fire magic. Arista crossed her arms and looked at him seriously.

"Azael, today I will teach you the most common and basic fire spell. Every fire mage learns this first."

Azael nodded seriously. "Fireball?"

Arista shook her head. "No. Fireball is common, but not the most basic. The most basic spell is Ignite Flame. Something that you can do easily with your fire. But again learning spells maybe hard but efficient."

She raised her right hand in front of him.

"Watch carefully."

She slowly gathered mana into her palm. Azael could feel the mana in the air slightly move toward her hand.

"First, gather mana in your palm. Don’t rush. Fire magic is not about force first. It’s about heat and ignition."

A small red magic circle appeared in her palm, rotating slowly. The circle had tiny rune symbols forming a ring.

"Remember this magic circle."

Fwoosh.

A small golden-red flame appeared above the magic cirle, floating and dancing like a candle flame, but brighter and hotter.

She held it calmly as if it won’t burn her.

"This is Ignite Flame," she said. "Simple, but extremely important. With this, you can start fires, light torches, burn ropes, heat metal, or combine it into bigger spells. Since the structure was easy I don’t think you need a drawing if it. Did you memorize it?"

"Yes, I did." Azaek replied calmly.

"Good. I will give you book when we use other spells. For now try Ignite flame." She then closed her palm, and the flame disappeared instantly.

Azael nodded and raised his hand just like her.

He closed his eyes and tried to gather mana into his palm. At first, nothing happened. He frowned slightly and tried to focus more.

Mana slowly gathered into his hand, but it was unstable.

Arista noticed immediately.

"Too rough," she said. "Don’t grab mana like you’re catching something. Let it flow into your palm. Fire mana should feel warm, not violent."

Azael took a deep breath and tried again.

This time, he slowly guided the mana into his palm. A faint red magic circle began to form, he tried to formed it with mana. Slowly and carefully. But it flickered like it could disappear any moment.

"Good," Arista said. "Now imagine heat. Imagine a spark. Imagine dry wood catching fire."

Azael focused harder. He imagined a spark, then a small flame, then heat gathering in one point.

The magic circle became clearer.

Puff.

A tiny flame appeared for a moment... and immediately disappeared. It was failure.

Azael opened his eyes. "I almost had it!"

Arista nodded. "Yes. That was good amazing start." She smiled. "It seems you will learn it within a day."

He nodded and started to try again.

He gathered mana. Formed the magic circle. Focused on heat. This time the flame appeared again but it was unstable, flickering wildly like it would explode or disappear.

"Control," Arista said calmly. "Fire is wild by nature. You don’t have to fight it. You need guide it."

Azael slowly adjusted the mana flow. The flame became smaller... then steadier.

Now a small flame floated above his palm.

His eyes widened slightly. "I did it..."

Arista smiled a little. "Yes. You did....just in your second attempt. " She looked proud for some reason.

Azael looked at the small flame in his hand like a child seeing magic for the first time. The orange light reflected in his violet eyes.

But suddenly the flame lost control.

Fwoosh!

It became bigger for a second and burned his sleeve slightly.

"Ah! Hot hot hot!" Azael shook his hand and the flame disappeared.
