Chapter 218: Chapter 218; You are kidding me, right?

Tang Fei bent over and kissed him on the cheek before walking away with Xie Yuxuan and Li Junfeng. She also wanted to pass by the kitchen and see what was going on there.

They silently tagged from behind as they walked over to the mansion while they checked the place around. This was a new mansion they hadn’t visited.

Secretary Li and Huo Wu trailed just behind them as they got over to the mansion sitting area.

"Secretary Li, Huo Wu... Can you shop a few clothes for them while I arrange their sleeping area?" Tang Fei halted and turned around to face Secretary Li and Huo Wu who were just behind her.

"You don’t have to worry about that; go over to the kitchen; I will take care of them from here... Just see what’s happening in the kitchen." He held her shoulders and dragged her to the side, respectfully taking the stairs with the guests, while Huo Wu dragged her away to the sides of the kitchen.

"Huo Wu...." Tang Fei wondered why they were handling her like some garbage. It was her home, so, why can’t she take care of these things personally? They were her guests right?

"Hehe, Mrs. Huo, you should know more about your husband; he is a jealous man; how can he let you stick around other men for more than two minutes? And then, I wanted to talk to you, some two guests there are Qin Xinyu’s biological parents who we hadn’t expected them to show up at this time and place." Tang Fei had never taken time to tour the entire mansion and thought it was time, but it seemed like she would have to make plans another day; they hadn’t cleared everything that could trigger her erased memories, so they had to be careful.

"Ahhh? You are kidding me, right? Are you certain about that?" She immediately forgot about the two guests and about touring the mansion with them. She looked at Huo Wu’s eyes and didn’t think he was bluffing or lying. It could be true and she suddenly felt bad for Qin Xinyu.

How did they show up there at their home? Maybe some guests who were present were their relatives and brought them along.

Tang Fei was suddenly worried about Qin Xinyu; he had been walking around the gazebo while seeing his parents seated there with other kids, looking like a family while they abandoned him. It could be a painful feeling and no one could understand him better than himself.

"I’m telling you the truth; I know you couldn’t know about it, but they are there seated on the couch as if they have never committed any wrong." Huo Wu was an orphan and adopted by the Huo family, so he knew the feeling of being rejected by your biological parents. And the terrible thing was knowing who your parents are; while they live a perfect life, they don’t recall your existence and what their actions impact on their kids.

"Auntie, why did you come over? I told you I would take care of things here; you don’t have to move around exhausting yourself." Qin Xinyu walked over from the kitchen to the sitting area where they were standing. He looked just as usual and didn’t look like someone affected by his biological parent’s presence, and if Huo Wu hadn’t told her, she wouldn’t have known what was going on.

"I brought some guests over to get some rest in the guest rooms." She turned around and checked him out from head to toe. He didn’t seem to be affected by their presence; it was like they didn’t totally exist in his world.

When he got closer, she held his hand, dragged him into her arms, and hugged him. Maybe this was the only thing he needed at the moment, and he was afraid of talking it out with his adoptive Mother, "If you want to cry, you can; if you want to get angry, you can; I will be your biggest supporter. You don’t have to feel bad when you have me." She loosened gazing into those eyes that were so calm and distant. They lacked emotions, after a fleeting moment, he warmly gazed at her.

"Auntie, I don’t care about some irrelevant people... They never existed in my world. Getting mad or angry wouldn’t solve much apart from showing how vulnerable we are and how their presence affects us... When they had abandoned me at the temple while it heavily snowed, I understood how meaningless I was in their life. This is all our fate and we should embrace it. They won’t find me meaningful now." He could recall everything like it just happened yesterday, so fresh in his mind. So, he was glad that he had a person he could call mother. This was the person who had stood with him and sheltered through the storm together.

"That’s true... All right, don’t worry about anything, later on I will get some interest for you." Did they think they could show up and go back without bleeding? No way, they had to bleed a little bit as an apology to Qin Xinyu.

"Hehe... Auntie." Qin Xinyu didn’t think she was saying just mere words to comfort him. Tang Fei always meant every word and took action when she thought it was a perfect time. He felt a warm surge flowing all over his body as he wildly smiled. Even that hug was enough comfort.

"Momma..." Twilight, whose face was bandaged, walked over into the mansion, running towards Tang Fei in front of other people. She didn’t dare misbehave, but here, where there were probably just two people, she didn’t mind at all and lunged into her arms.

"Twilight... You have been avoiding me since I came over to the gazebo." They intimately hugged each other, not knowing Huo Ting Cheng, who was standing at the door, was seeing their intimate actions even though he didn’t get to hear what they were chatting about.

"Hehehe, it’s not like that momma." She was just afraid of exposing their relationship. But she knew they couldn’t miss a reason to explain the abnormalities between the two of them and their relationship.

"Hehehe.. all right.... Let me introduce you to Qin Xinyu, this is Twilight my closest friend and since I resemble someone she was close to, she addresses me as mom, Twilight, this is Qin Xinyu, you two have the same facial features, and you probably could be related, I will have to conduct a DNA test and see what the results are." Tang Fei couldn’t be mistaken after seeing their faces closely. She knew what Twilight’s true face was like before the scars, it was just as delicate as Qin Xinyu’s, and because of safety reasons, she had to get rid of her face.

"Really?" Qin Xinyu had already thought of the possibility when he saw her earlier on and came across her. There was this indescribable feeling of closeness toward her that he couldn’t explain. It just felt magical like she was someone they once related with each other.

"Mnnh, but to be certain about that relationship, let’s wait until we have conducted a DNA test on both of you. Twilight, you will stay in the mansion from today onwards; what do you think?" She didn’t want her to stay out there all by herself. She wanted to give her a new, clean identity where she could live freely and do things she has always wished without worrying about being hunted because of that face.

This was what she had promised to do as Assassin Ice but was unable to... Huo Yang had killed her instead of giving her freedom, with freedom, she could have created a new environment for Twilight to grow up in.

"It’s okay with me Auntie." Since she was Tang Fei, she would have to address her just like what Qin Xinyu was doing. This was the only appropriate title that couldn’t sound suspicious.

"All right Auntie..." Qin Xinyu was excited and nervous at the same time. He had been searching for his sister all this time and never knew her whereabouts, but now, there was a possibility of finding her; she was here, standing in front of him. This was like a miracle.

He didn’t know how to approach her or say....
