Transmigration: Giving The Second Male Lead All The Love I Have.-Chapter 123: Pushed Off A cliff
"Both Yang Jiu and Yang Jia have been arrested, the shareholders at Yang Corporation no longer want anything to do with the company and I will finally be able to spend some time with my wife without thinking about others." Fu Mingze said as pulled Yang Meiyi closer to him.
Yang Meiyi smiled and asked, "Aren’t you already spending enough time with me?"
Fu Mingze shook his head and said "No, I’m not. You have ignored me, especially during this past few days. I could hardly get a kiss from you."
Yang Meiyi laughed softly and pecked his lips as she asked "Is that better?"
"Not at all." Fu Mingze said as he pulled her into a devouring kiss.
Fu Mingze’s kisses became more intense and sensual that Yang Meiyi had to remind him in a whisper "The baby..."
"Will be fine. I will be gentle." Fu Mingze assured her as he tore her gown to undress her quickly, he carried her to the sofa and gently lay her on it.
He quickly undressed himself and tried his best not to place pressure on her belly as he gently made her to be his.
It was slow, sensual, and passionate but every movement brought great pleasure to them and they both wished for the moment to never end.
...
Police Station
"Your father has also been arrested. The Yang family has gone bankrupt and there is not enough money to even pay for a lawyer for both you and your dad." Grandma Yang said to her granddaughter.
"What do you mean by there is not enough money? Is that the case or are you trying to keep it all for yourself? Never in my life have I seen an old and greedy woman like you." Yang Jia said in anger and disgust.
"That’s enough. I will no longer tolerate such disrespect from you. You should understand that I am the only one who can help you."
"Well I do not need the help of an old and pathetic woman, I can handle myself. Now leave." Yang Jia said rudely.
Grandma Yang scoffed at her behavior and said "Perhaps you do deserve to rot here. Maybe staying in jail will help you to respect your elders more."
Yang Jia rolled her eyes and said "Just leave."
She watched as her grandmother left and tried her best to stop the tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
....
Two weeks later.
"Are you ready?" Fu Mingze asked his wife as he looked at her with a gentle gaze.
Yang Meiyi nodded and said, "Yes, today is the day Yang Jia pays for her crimes, and next week, Yang Jiu will pay for his." She looked at the courthouse and felt Fu Mingze’s hand on hers.
"Let’s go. I’m here with you." Fu Mingze said.
Yang Meiyi smiled at him and nodded "Let’s go."
Since no lawyer wanted to take Yang Jia’s case, she was assigned a public lawyer.
The case didn’t take long as there was enough evidence and witnesses to Yang Jia’s crime and now it was time for the judge to give out her sentence.
"For the murder of Sang Xiu and Hu Lihua, the court finds you guilty and as a result, you are sentenced to twenty years in jail." The judge said.
Yang Meiyi sighed in relief at the sentence that was given to Yang Jia and looked at her, there was no emotion on her face, not even remorse, and Yang Meiyi wondered if Yang Jia still had a soul.
Their eyes met and Yang Jia’s lips spread into a smile.
Yang Meiyi felt fear in her heart and she wondered why, she felt Fu Mingze moving her face to make her look at him and ask. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, I’m fine." Yang Meiyi replied with a smile
"Then let’s go."
"There is somewhere I want us to go first." Yang Meiyi replied.
Fu Mingze looked at her for a moment before saying "As You wish."
....
Yang Meiyi laid a bouquet of flowers on her mother’s grave and said "I did it, with Fu Mingze’s help, I was able to find out the truth and bring you and Grandpa justice. With this, I hope now you will finally rest in peace and don’t worry about me. I’m happy and will be even happier once my little chipmunk is born, although I think it’s best if I find another nickname for him but for now I prefer calling him little chipmunk. As for my dream as a fashion designer, once little chipmunk is born, I’m going to fully focus on my career and make you proud.
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me, you will always be in my heart and I will never stop loving you."
Fu Mingze crouched down and said "She is right, there is no need to worry about her. I will always protect her and I will never stop loving her. You can finally rest in peace, Aunt Sang Xiu."
He looked at Yang Meiyi when he heard a sniffle and smile as he pulled her into his arms saying "You are about to become a mother, you shouldn’t be a crybaby."
"I’m not a crybaby." Yang Meiyi retorted.
Fu Mingze chuckled and patted her back gently.
....
Gu Zhen locked himself inside his study and filled his glass to a brim, he opened a photo of him and Yang Jia on his phone and he wondered why he felt nothing. There was once a time when her smile could make him do anything for her but now looking at this photo of her smiling at him, he felt nothing.
Gu Zhen was about to bring the glass of drink to his lips when his phone suddenly rang.
He sighed when he saw that it was his assistant calling and knew the young man wouldn’t call him unless it was important.
"What is it?" Gu Zhen asked as he answered the call.
"There was an accident on the way to the prison."
Gu Zhen frowned as he said, "I don’t understand what you are saying."
"On the way to the prison cell, the car carrying Yang Jia was involved in a terrible accident, the car collided with another car and was pushed off a cliff."
Gu Zhen’s hand holding his phone began to shake as he asked "Are you saying Yang Jia is dead."
"I’m afraid so sir."
