Gu Zhen entered his apartment and saw Nie Yujie with a cooking apron, looking at him with a smile and saying "I’m glad you came back so early, go freshen up while I serve the food."

"I was able to open the cabin I saw Madam Gu going into." Ji Lai said.

"And? What’s in there?" Gu Zhen asked looking at Nie Yujie.

"It’s Miss Nie Yujie or a woman that looks exactly like your wife."

Gu Zhen frowned when he heard "Take a picture and send it to me."

A few seconds later, a picture was sent to Gu Zhen’s phone and it was a picture of a thin and malnourished Nie Yujie.

Yang Jia flinched when she heard his loud voice and said "It was nine months after your marriage to her, after you betrayed me. You abandoned me for her."

"Gu Zhen." Yang Jia softly called.

Walking in the street holding hands after finishing their dinner, Fu Mingze looked at a smiling Tao Luqi and asked "Why are you smiling?’"

"Because I’m happy." Tao Luqi.

Fu Mingze chuckles and asks "Do you feel that happy being with me?" He was expecting her to deny it and was surprised when she said.

"Yes, I feel very happy being with you. More happier than I have ever felt in the last four years. Thank you for asking me to come here with you." Tao Luqi said with a slight blush on her cheek.

Fu Mingze dragged her hand to stop her from walking and said "Then get married to me, I will ensure you feel this happiness every day."

Tao Luqi was stunned by his request and asked "Are you saying that you will break off your engagement with Ye Qingyi?"

"I was never in love with her anyway. I know it was wrong but, I thought Fu Liang needed a mother figure in his life so I asked Ye Qingyi to marry me."

"Then what about me, do you love me?" Tao Luqi asked.

Fu Mingze was about to give his answer when Tao Luqi suddenly placed her palm on his lips and said "I change my mind, don’t answer."

Fu Mingze smiled and kissed her palm, he slowly removed it from his lips and said "Fine, let’s just enjoy ourselves tonight. I have a surprise for you."

"Really?" Tao Luqi asked excitedly.

Fu Mingze laughed softly at her excitement and rather than answering, he pulled her closer to him and kissed her softly.

Tao Luqi smiled and kissed him back more passionately and she didn’t care that were in the middle of a street. In all the four years of her life, she had never wanted anyone as much as she wanted this man and at this point, she knew she couldn’t stand at the altar and say ’I do’ to Dai Shuo.

Their passionate kiss was interrupted by a phone call.

"Answer it, it could be important." Tao Luqi said in between kisses

Fu Mingze chuckled softly as he pecked her lips before taking out his vibrating phone from his pocket.

He saw that it was Bulter Xia calling and said "Butler Xia is calling, I’m sure the kids are being mischievous again."

Tao Luqi laughed and urged him to answer the call saying "Put it on speaker, l want to hear my babies voice."

Fu Mingze answered the call and put it on speaker and the first sound they could hear was Tao Mei’s crying voice.

"What happened? Why is Tao Mei crying?" Tao Luqi asked with a frown.

"Young Master, you need to come back immediately." Butler Xia said frantically.

"What happened? Why are sounding like that, is my grandfather okay?"

"Old master Fu is fine but Fu Liang....."

"What happened to Fu Liang?" Fu Mingze immediately asked as a feeling of fear crept into his heart.

"Little Fu Liang and Tao Mei were just playing together when he started bleeding from his nose and before I could do anything he fainted." Butler Xia was a strong man emotionally but as he began to explain what had happened to the little master, tears began to flow from his eyes.

Tao Luqi looked at Fu Mingze’s shocked state and asked Butler Xia "Where is Fu Liang, right now? Is he alright?"

"He was rushed to the hospital a few minutes ago." Butler Xia replied as he cleaned the tears flowing from his eyes.

"We will return as quickly as we can, in the meantime, send us the name of the hospital so that we can go there straight and please take care of Tao Mei, we will be there soon."

"Okay, Madam." Butler Xia replied.

Tao Luqi ended the call and looked at Fu Mingze who hadn’t said a word.

"Mingze." Tao Luqi softly called out

"We have to go, I have to see my son." Fu Mingze said as his eyes began to get teary.

Tao Luqi pulled him into her embrace and said "I’m sure he is all right. Our little Liang is going to be alright, I promise."
