"I want to see Gu Zhen so get out of my way."

Gu Zhen looked at his office door and wondered who was making a ruckus outside his office.

He walked to the door and opened it. He was surprised to see who was at the door and he coldly asked "Is there any reason you are making a scene in my company."

"While I have made a scene in your company, your wife has made a scene in my daughter’s life." Ye Rong shouted at Gu Zhen. There was no way he was going to allow another woman to ruin his daughter’s life.

Gu Zhen looked at the security guard and his secretary and said "Return to your post."

The security guard and the secretary nodded and left.

"Will you come in and explain to me the meaning of your words or do you wish to continue making a scene but this time, it will be the police handling you and not security guards."

"I dare you to call the police, only that crazy wife of yours will be arrested." Ye Rong said but when he saw Gu Zhen’s cold eyes, he decided to enter the office.

Gu Zhen closed the door and asked "What has my wife done to your daughter?"

Ye Rong scoffed and asked, "Did you not know that your wife is a murderer?"

"What nonsense are you saying? My patience is limited, Mr Ye."

"You think I’m saying nonsense? Well go ahead and ask your wife if she had anything to do with Yang Meiyi’s death four years ago. That madwoman dragged my daughter into participating in murder and you don’t look surprised at all. You must have already known that your wife is a murderer."

"That’s enough Ye Rong, watch your tongue."

"Maybe I will learn to watch my tongue better after reporting your murderous wife to the police." Ye Rong retorted and was about to leave Gu Zhen’s office when he heard Gu Zhen asking

"Are you truly ready to give up everything in reporting Nie Yujie?"

Ye Rong turned to Gu Zhen with a frown and asked "Are you trying to threaten me?"

"Do you think that if you report Nie Yujie to the police, she would be the only one to go down? That precious daughter of yours will also be behind bars so think very carefully of your next action, especially when you have no proof to support it."

"Gu Zhen!"

"You want to hear my advice, Ye Rong? Then take your hands off this case."

"I will never abandon my daughter."

"I do not care about your daughter. Ye Qingyi is Fu Mingze’s cup of tea, not mine. My only business is Nie Yujie, which you are not to touch."

"What exactly are you planning Gu Zhen?" Ye Rong asked with a frown.

Ye Rong glanced at Gu Zhen one more time before leaving his office.

Gu Zhen on the other hand, quietly walked to his desk and opened his drawer. He took out a cigarette from his drawer and brought out a lighter from his pocket.

Gu Zhen sat down on his chair and smoked for a few seconds before putting it off and whispered "I guess it’s time."

Tao Luqi woke up to an empty bed and wondered where Fu Mingze had gone. Could it be that he left for a meeting? But it was just 8 am.

Tao Luqi was about to get up from the bed when she realized that she was wearing only Fu Mingze’s shirt, her cheek became red as she remembered their last night’s activities. She couldn’t believe that she had asked Fu Mingze to make love to her and she felt so embarrassed when he refused her but that embarrassment immediately went away when he used his lips and tongue to kiss and lick all her body.

It was obvious he desired her so why did he refuse to sleep with her last night?

Tao Luqi decided to forget all that and to find Fu Mingze, she got up from the bed and upon leaving the bedroom, she heard a noise in the kitchen. Tao Luqi immediately went to the kitchen and was shocked to see a shirtless Fu Mingze making breakfast.

Tao Luqi could feel her heart racing, how could she have such an intense feeling for a man whom she had only met in less than two months?

Fu Mingze looked up when he noticed someone in the kitchen and smiled as he said "You are finally awake. Give me a minute and breakfast will be ready."

Tao Luqi got out of her daze when she noticed Fu Mingze smiling at her, she smiled back at him and asked "Does Mr Fu plan on impressing me with his cooking skills?"

Fu Mingze laughed as he turned off the gas after making pancakes and said "I thought I impressed you enough last night."

Tao Luqi’s cheek immediately became red as she said "How could you say such a thing?"

Fu Mingze’s laughter increased as he walked to her and held her cheek saying "You look so good whenever you are blushing."

"I’m not blushing." Tao Luqi replied, removing Fu Mingze hand’s from her cheek.

Fu Mingze smiled and whispered to her ears "You look even more ravishing in my shirt. Did you put on some underwear or did you forget?"

At this point, Tao Luqi’s redness reached her ears as she replied "I forgot."

Fu Mingze let out a tortuous groan and kissed her cheek, before saying"Let’s have breakfast."

"I don’t want to have breakfast." Tao Luqi blurted.

"Do you want to eat something else? I will make it for you." Fu Mingze asked, wondering why she suddenly did not want breakfast.

Instead of answering, Tao Luqi tiptoed to kiss him briefly before whispering "I want a different type of breakfast."

Fu Mingze watched her curiously and was surprised when she crouched down and pulled down his boxer, he cursed out loud when he felt her lips on him, and with heavy breath, Fu Mingze held the kitchen counter and closed his eyes in pleasure, wanting more of her.
