After going through the plan again with Ma Xin, Yang Meiyi waited for Yang Jiu in front of his car for two minutes before she saw him walking towards her with a frown on his face.
"What are you doing here?" Yang Jiu asked harshly. He thought releasing that news would make her feel guilty and hide from the netizens’ taunt so what was she doing standing in front of his car.
Yang Meiyi’s face became pitiful as she said "Dad." She immediately went to hug him but was brutally pushed away by him.
"I remember telling you that I am not your father."

"What nonsense are you saying?" Yang Jiu asked with a frown. What was happening, why was she suddenly acting pitiful?
"Didn’t you promise my mother that you will always love me? I mean that’s why she agreed to get married to you right? You will get the money for your company and in return give me the love of a father, wasn’t that the deal? For years I have seen you as my only father, even when you would raise your hand at me, I have never said anything to my mom but even after everything, why don’t you still love me?"

Before Yang Jiu could complete his statement, he heard Yang Meiyi saying "Grandpa was right, you are just a gold digger. You said you deserve Sang enterprise as a reward for your hard work?" Yang Meiyi asked with a scoff. "But what hard work? "Yang Meiyi!" Yang Jiu shouted, raising his hand to slap her.
Yang Meiyi could taste the blood from her lips after receiving a hard slap, though it was just for a second her eyes lit up but immediately dimmed before anyone could notice.
"I should have done that a long time ago. You have always been an unrestrained brat and it was truly my mistake for thinking that sending you abroad would somehow tame you. You need to realize this, Yang Meiyi. You are nothing, the sooner you realize that the better. So stop your wishful thinking of being able to destroy me because a nobody like you can never bring me down." Yang Jiu said and pushed her aside to enter his car.
Yang Meiyi watched as he drove away and pressed her hand to her busted lip. She took out her phone and sent a message to Ma Xin with a huge smile on her face.
While looking at the message she had just sent, she whispered to herself "Your destruction is more than my wishful thinking Yang Jiu and within twenty-four hours, even you will realize that."

Fu Mingze entered his office and saw Ye Qingyi still waiting for him. Xia Lian had informed him that Ye Qingyi was waiting for him in his office and he thought by the time he was done with his meeting, she would have already gotten tired of waiting.
"If you are here to talk about Fu group still cooperating with the Ye hospital then don’t bother, I will have such discussions with your father. At least he won’t make a scene in front of my executives."
Ye Qingyi pouted her lips at his words and "I’m sorry for the way I acted. Fu Mingze shook his head and said "I don’t want to fall in love with someone else and I don’t want to hurt you either."

"You asking me to tell Grandpa Fu to call off the engagement means you can’t do it right?" Ye Qingyi asked and Fu Mingze’s silence gave her the answer. She let out a bitter smile and said "Since you are unable to call off the engagement then I won’t either. We will get engaged Fu Mingze and I will win you over, I will show you that my love is stronger than hers."
"Even if we get engaged Ye Qingyi, we will never get married."
Ye Qingyi frowned at his statement and wondered what he meant by that. Is he planning to get married to Yang Meiyi? No, she must never let that happen. The only woman whom Fu Mingze will be marrying is her and no one else.
