He let out a smile as Yang Meiys pulled closer to him and embraced him tighter.

Fu Mingze leaned into her touch and said "You no longer have to say sorry. We would have never been happy if you had chosen me over little Lei but next time Meiyi, you have to share your burden with me. Whenever I think of how you suffered all by yourself in those two years, a piece of my heart always aches for you. I just don’t want to be your husband in name, I want to be your lover, your best friend and your companion. I want to be your home."

"You are my home." Yang Meiyi replied with unshed tears in her eyes.

Fu Mingze kissed her hand that was on his cheek and whispered "And you are mine."

"Are you saying that he still hasn’t arrived at Meg hotel?" Old Master Fu asked with a deep frown on his face.

"Yes sir." Butler Xia replied.

"How many hours do we still have before the engagement ceremony starts?"

Bulter Xia looked at his watch and said "Four hours. The Ye family are already in the hotel but there is still no sign of the young master."

"Does he now care about that woman more than me? Contact Xia Lian and tell him to tell his boss that if he doesn’t arrive at the engagement venue within three hours then he will be responsible for my death."

Butler Xia sighed and said "You shouldn’t say things like that. You know how busy the young master is, maybe he is caught up with some important work."

"Do you think he will go against his grandfather for that woman?"

"I think he will go against the world just for her." Bai Jian said calmly.

"Get out. I don’t want to see you."

A flash of hurt flickered in Bai Jian’s eyes, he smiled bitterly and said "I wish you the best Ye Qingyi."

"I don’t need your insincere wishes, just leave."

Bai Jian nodded and left the room.

Tears left Ye Qingyi’s eyes as Bai Jian left. Why can’t they understand that she is the only one perfect for Fu Mingze, she is the only one who he can be with. Unlike that girl, she will never hurt or abandon him. Fu Mingze is only allowed to get married to her and no one else.

"I feel nervous." Yang Meiyi admitted as they stood in front of Fu Shen’s room.

Fu Mingze held her hand tightly and said "Don’t be. We are in this together, okay?"

Yang Meiyi smiled and nodded.

Fu Mingze breathed in deeply and knocked on the door of his grandfather’s bedroom.

"Come in." An old but firm voice said.
