"He is married to Meiyi, plus he has decided to go ahead with signing the contract while taking just ten percent of the hospital shares." Ye Rong replied while looking at his daughter’s teary eyes.

"Hospital shares? Is that what my happiness is worth to you?"

Ye Rong knelt in front of his daughter and wiped her tears "You can fall in love again Qingyi. You will find someone who loves you and I’m sure of that." He brought her to his arms as she cried loudly in the room, with only him to comfort her.

Yang Meiyi watched the news of Fu Mingze admitting to their marriage and was smiling from ear to ear as she gave a cup of tea to Grandpa Fu.

After Fu Mingze left, the old man didn’t sleep much and within thirty minutes, he came out of his room and went straight to his study without saying a word to her.

She had stood outside of his study for close to two hours before he shouted, saying he needed some tea.

"Are you that happy?" Grandpa Fu asked as he looked at the cup of tea that was placed on the table for him.

"I’m very happy Grandpa. From now on the whole world will regard me and Fu Mingze as husband and wife."

"Perhaps now you won’t abandon him so easily." Grandpa Fu replied as he collected his tea and drank it slowly.

Yang Meiyi sighed and said "I agree I broke the promise I made to you but I don’t regret it. I would never have chosen my love for Mingze over the life of a child. I knew I was going to come back to him but Little Lei’s life might have ended if I didn’t make that decision."

Grandpa Fu looked at the young girl who met his eyes in confidence and suddenly smiled, "Maybe you can survive in this family after all. Work hard to give me grandkids, it’s been long before I heard the laughter of children in this house given the fact that Fu Mingze didn’t laugh much."

Yang Meiyi widen her eyes with a smiled as she asked, "Then does that mean you have forgiven me?"

"It means I understand why you made that decision and that perhaps one day I will look at you and be reminded of that sweet little girl who stole my heart and not of the woman who broke my grandson’s heart."

Yang Meiyi nodded and asked "Can I still call you Grandpa?’

Grandpa Fu was silent for a little while before he said "You can still call me Grandpa. No matter what has happened between us, I will remain your Grandpa Fu." He stood up from his chair and spread his arms saying "Now won’t you give your grandpa a hug?"

Yang Meiyi smiled and walked forward to hug the old man as she whispered "Grandpa, I have missed you so much."

Grandpa Fu patted her back gently as he said "Grandpa has missed you too. You poor child, how could you have ran away to a foreign country, you made Grandpa worried."

"I won’t leave anymore. I promise to stay with you and Mingze forever." Yang Meiyi said as tears left her eyes.

Butler Xia watched the scene from the doorway and sighed in relief. Though the old man acts tough, his love for Yang Meiyi has been from the heart. The old man only acted as if he hated the girl because he thought she had played with his grandson’s feelings and that was something the old man could never forgive. Dressed in a blue suit and with his neatly trimmed dark curly hair, Fu Dang turned to his mother after looking at himself in the mirror and asked "How do I look?"

Fu Dang smiled and said "It’s only a matter of time before it happens. I thought all we had to do was wait for his heart to kill him but now the doctors are saying he is getting better and might not even need a heart transplant. What a shame."

Fu Dang let out a cruel smirk and said "I can’t believe he got married to that girl.
