Yang Meiyi knocked softly on the door to Fu Mingze’s study and came in. She stood silently when she saw that he was on a video call and waited till it ended before she walked forward and placed a file on his desk.

Fu Mingze looked at the file placed on his desk and then at his wife "What is this?"

Yang Meiyi took a seat at the opposite chair and said "Read it. That file contains all the reasons why Fu Group should invest in Sang Resort."

Fu Mingze smiled as he opened the files and read through them. Within two minutes he was done, he returned the file to Yang Meiyi and said "If we were trying to do things professionally then you wouldn’t have been able to show me this without making an appointment."

"I guess I am enjoying one of the benefits of being your wife."

Fu Mingze laughed softly and said, "The proposal is okay but...."

"But what?"

"The resort is old and hasn’t been a tourist site for a while. No assurance investing in this will bring any profit to the company."

"But you can give it a chance. For two years the resort has just been in the hands of bad management, it will rise again even better than before. Right now, I’m renovating the place and once that is done I assure you that it will become an attractive sight again. Do my words make you want to invest?"

"Why are we doing this? If you want me to invest in the resort all you just have to do is ask. If I invest, other investors will follow."

"I know that but I want them to invest in this resort because they see potential not because their business idol has invested in it."

"Business Idol?" Fu Mingze asked with a smile.

"You know what I mean Mingze, every businessman looks up to you, both old and new."

Fu Mingze laughed softly and said "Sang Resort was the best resort in Country M, if you can revive it to even half of what it was before then it has more than enough potential. You’re overthinking this, I will invest in the resort but if after its renovation, it doesn’t make any profit for three years then I will pull out my investment. Will you agree to that? Because it’s ridiculous you are going out looking for investors when you have me and besides I want you to focus on something else." Fu Mingze said with a gentle gaze.

"What do you want me to focus on?"

"Going to GemWorld and starting your career as a fashion designer. It’s what you’ve always wanted. It’s what your mother wanted for you."

Hearing her mother, brought a frown to her face as she said "I can’t. I still have unfinished business to take care of."

"The resort or your revenge against Yang Jiu?"

"Both."

"Well, your plan of destroying the Yang corporation is going to be difficult if Yang Jiu completes this project he is working on."

Yang Meiyi smiled and said, "He won’t complete it."

Fu Mingze looked at her smile and asked "Are you in any way related to Sky Corporation, I find it weird that among all the things they could ask for as collateral, they chose Sang Enterprise."

"My friend started the company."

"Sophia, right?"

"You already know about her, why am I not surprised."

"What exactly is your plan, Meiyi?" Fu Mingze asked, hoping it was something that wouldn’t get her in trouble.

"Yang Jiu is a greedy man and now that he has gotten his hand on a project worth billions, he wouldn’t like to share it with top companies but he still needs money, so I figured that if a rising company who has made some accomplishment were to meet him, then he will agree to it and he did."

"Sky Corporation has invested millions in this project as well, if the project fails they lose money and Sang Enterprise goes to them. I don’t see how this benefits you in any way."

"All I want is Sang Enterprise and I am going to get it when the project is taken away from Yang Jiu and given to someone else."

"And how do you plan to make that happen?"

"By accusing Yang Jiu of murder. The project on which he has spent millions will be taken away from him just like that. The government will never allow someone who is charged with murder to take control of such an important project."

The study became silent after Yang Meiyi’s words but that silence broke after a few seconds with Fu Mingze’s laughter. "Come here." He said after he stopped laughing.

Yang Meiyi happily went to him and sat on his lap.

Fu Mingze held the back of her neck and kissed her softly. He ends the kiss saying "You have grown smarter, I’m proud of you, but whose murder will you accuse him of?"

Yang Meiyi smiled brightly at his compliment and replied "The murder of Sang Shao."

"Do you have enough proof to keep him in jail forever?"

Yang Meiyi shook her head and said "I don’t, but I do have enough proof that will keep him detained till the project is given to Sky Corporation, it compensates for the millions that they will lose from investing in Yang Jiu."

"Then that’s more than enough. Count me in for anything you need my wife."

"Anything at all?" Yang Meiyi asked as her hands slowly unbuttoned Fu Mingze’s shirt.

"Anything at all." Fu Mingze whispered as she unbuttoned the last button of his shirt.

"Then I need you." Yang Meiyi whispered as she removed his shirt and crashed her lips against him.

Fu Mingze pulled away from their passionate kiss to bring out a condom from his drawer but before he could open it, Yang Meiyi held his hand and said "We don’t need it, I’m still on the pill."

Fu Mingze looked at her for a brief moment before keeping the condom aside and bringing his lips back to hers.

Clothes came undone as their kiss led to a passionate activity which made moans of pleasure to be heard in the entire study.
