Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 775 - 341: After May_2
They just needed to mention it to the Great Gardener and the others when they entered the city later. If anything arose, those individuals would naturally come here to find them.
「Night.」
Alka submerged himself into his own Dream World. His Dream Bubbles still hadn't changed much, remaining just as before. Various peculiar, fluorescent plants covered his Dream Bubbles, and the many Dream Creatures he had created lived freely in his world. It was a pity; they could only live within his Dream.
Stepping out of his Dream Bubbles, Alka looked around. At this time, the entire Mirror Royal Court was bustling with construction. Everywhere, areas were enveloped in pale fog. These fog-shrouded expanses, varying in size, were scattered throughout the Royal Court. The outlines of some structures were already visible. For example, beneath Alka's Dream lay a huge platform. Beneath this platform was a circular crystal ring, which rested atop a structure resembling a pyramid. Alka's Dream World was positioned on this circular crystal ring, as if being held aloft. At some unknown point, his Dream Bubbles had appeared at the very highest point of the entire Royal Court, like its sun. As for Chadite's Dream and those of the others, they were logically arranged in an encircling pattern below. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Around the pyramid, countless Mirror fragments were scattered. They circled Alka's Dream, orbiting gently like satellites and forming something akin to a luminous belt. This was just one section of the upper area, where the Dreams of Alka and the others were located; it had received the highest priority for construction, which was why it appeared so complete.
The area below was completely shrouded in fog. These expanses, entirely covered by white mist, could be imagined as construction sites. This was the manifestation of the fog-like creatures engaged in their work.
Noticing his arrival, Fantasy trotted through the air from nearby, coming to his side.
Alka patted Fantasy's deer head and said, "Take me to Shadow Robe."
Fantasy nodded, carrying Alka on its back, and swiftly ran within the Royal Court of the Dream Realm.
Was it his imagination? Alka sensed his Mirror Royal Court seemed to be expanding sideways.
He closed his eyes, focusing his senses carefully. It was indeed expanding on its own; he didn't even need to worry about it, nor expend thought and power to extend it. This was because a Royal Court for a Dream Realm God was being constructed here. This area within the Mirror was merging with the surrounding environment. Alka's Royal Authority automatically began to push outward, causing the entire world within the Mirror to begin expanding outward as well.
He just didn't know how far this expansion would reach; he couldn't yet sense its limits very clearly.
Soon, Alka arrived where Shadow Robe was: on a platform floating within the Dream World. Besides Shadow Robe, there were several powerful Fifth Stage fog-like creatures. Shadow Robe appeared to be explaining something. Listening in, it seemed they were discussing something akin to a construction plan. The other fog-like creatures nodded occasionally. Shadow Robe was now effectively the chief designer of the Royal Court. According to White Horse, Mirmi's Royal Court had been Shadow Robe's earliest masterpiece.
Seeing Alka's arrival, they paused briefly, then bowed towards him in respect.
"King."
Alka nodded, then looked at Shadow Robe and said, "I need to speak with you."
The other fog-like creatures nodded and slowly withdrew.
"What questions does the King have?" Shadow Robe asked.
Alka nodded and said directly, "Recently, in the outside world, I encountered two fragmented Divines. One of them could use black fog, similar to shadow creatures. He claimed to be Fear Nightmare and seemed to have some past dealings with the Gatekeeper. Do you know who he is?"
"Fear Nightmare, and black fog, you say..." Shadow Robe mused for a moment, then asked, "Do you know where his territory is located? An existence as powerful as him within the Dream Realm would certainly possess its own domain, much like the Dream Kings or other formidable Dream Creatures."
Alka nodded. "You should know my current location, right? It's in the Dream Realm area corresponding to my location in the real world."
Shadow Robe nodded. Most of the powerful fog-like creatures within the Royal Court constantly monitored the correspondence between Alka's real-world and Dream Realm locations, in order to provide support when needed.
"I have some recollection of that area," Shadow Robe said. "Let me think."
After a moment, he seemed to recall. "It's the Shadow of Fear. The Divine you mentioned should be the former Shadow of Fear. There's no need to pay him any mind. He has completely fallen. What you saw must be a large fragment that formed an independent consciousness after his demise."
Hearing this, Alka frowned. "Divine fragments can still possess independent consciousness?" he asked. He instantly recalled the fragment he himself had devoured.
Shadow Robe nodded, then added, "Rest assured, the piece within your body has already been digested by you. It originally did not possess one. For a fragment to form consciousness, it must have fallen into the Dream Realm, and it must be sufficiently large. It also requires a confluence of certain factors, such as a still-significant number of believers who continue to worship him."
Hearing this, Alka nodded. He roughly understood. This kind of re-emergence, while connected to the former Divine, was no longer strongly tied to him.
