Xiang Yu smiled and turned his head to look at the young boy, "What’s your name?"
"My name is Jieke Halilu, and this is my sister, Hill Yiliman." The boy’s eyes blazed as he looked at Xiang Yu.
In Jieke’s eyes, Xiang Yu was their savior, someone who had come to help them.
Xi’er pulled Jieke slightly, signaling him not to speak carelessly, as she still didn’t know much about Xiang Yu.
"You guys better leave soon; I hope you won’t betray us." Xi’er looked at Xiang Yu with a tense and serious expression.
Xiang Yu smiled faintly, then walked towards the outside with Xiaoxuan.
"When will you take out Red Sha and Black Sha?" Jieke quickly ran up, looking at Xiang Yu with anticipation.
"If you can help us, I think it will be soon." Xiang Yu said confidently, then glanced at Xi’er.
Xi’er looked very standard, considered a beauty, with a lock of hair draped across her face, making her appear more heroic, like a heroine.
Xi’er tilted her head, looking aside, not responding to Xiang Yu’s gaze. Her meaning was clear; she wouldn’t help Xiang Yu.
"Goodbye." Xiang Yu said, then left with Xiaoxuan.
After Xiang Yu and his group left, Jieke pulled Xi’er and said, "Sister, why are you like this? They’re obviously here to help us."
"You’re still too young. We don’t know them; they might be sent by Red Sha." Xi’er said cautiously.
She glanced at someone behind her, nodded at that person, clearly indicating for them to follow Xiang Yu’s group.
"I don’t think so. They came from outside, and they all have guns. They don’t need to be with Red Sha." Jieke said.
Xi’er shook her head thoughtfully, then walked away, not engaging with Jieke any further.
Xiang Yu and Xiaoxuan wandered idly down the street.
"Bro, they’re following us." Xiaoxuan said.
Xiang Yu just nodded, not responding, then said, "It seems pretty complicated here."
"What’s our next step?" Xiaoxuan asked.
Xiang Yu put his hands behind his head, looked up at the sky, thought for a moment, and said, "Let’s go find Danyer."
Xiang Yu had already gotten a basic understanding of the place and knew where Danyer frequently went. He and Xiaoxuan headed directly towards a building in the distance.
The two arrived in front of a door at the bottom of the building and knocked on it.
"Who the hell’s knocking?" Danyer’s voice cursed from inside before he opened the door and came out.
Seeing Xiang Yu and Xiaoxuan, he was momentarily stunned, then chuckled, "How’d you find this place? What’s up?"
Danyer was bare-chested, wearing only underwear, likely just finished with something.
"There’s something I need to discuss with the boss." Xiang Yu said respectfully.
"Alright, come in." Danyer said generously.
Xiang Yu and Xiaoxuan went inside. The place was simply furnished, and in the inner room, a woman lay quietly, unclothed, as if she just enjoyed some affection.
Danyer sat on the sofa to the side, "So, what’s up?"
"In three days, we’ll have a showdown with Red Sha’s people, and I’m a bit nervous." Xiang Yu said with a worried look.
"What’s there to be nervous about? Just charge in with your knife; they’re not our match." Danyer said confidently.
"What if we lose?" Xiang Yu asked.
"Impossible, we won’t lose. We’ve got more people than them." Danyer replied.
"How much more?" Xiang Yu pressed on.
"Including you, we’ve got a hundred and one, and they only have ninety." Danyer said without hesitation.
After saying this, he looked around a bit regretfully, then peered into the bedroom and whispered, "Don’t tell anyone; it’s confidential."
Xiang Yu came here solely to get this information, and now that he had it, he didn’t need to ask more. He grinned, "Boss, about the girl inside..."
Danyer said mysteriously, "Very tight, want to try?"
"How could I dare with the boss’s woman? You enjoy yourself, I’ll be on my way." Xiang Yu said.
"It’s fine, give it a try." Danyer said, pulling Xiang Yu towards the inside.
Xiang Yu quickly waved his hand, "I already arranged to meet someone. Boss, you go ahead."
Danyer laughed heartily, pointing at Xiang Yu, "Alright, kid, you’ve got potential. Go ahead, get busy."
Xiang Yu quickly nodded and left with Xiaoxuan.
Outside, Xiaoxuan snorted coldly, "This guy’s a weirdo, wanting to share his woman with others."
"The world is wide and full of wonders; besides, living in this environment, they have no hope for the future, just living day by day." Xiang Yu said, hands behind his head, as he walked forward.
Xiang Yu’s current demeanor showed no signs of tension.
As they walked, someone emerged from the back of the building, snorted coldly, and headed off into the distance.
In the basement at the edge, someone reported, "I just followed them to a building where they met with Danyer. I suspect they’ve revealed our location."
Xi’er stood before the person, frowning, "I don’t think they’re that kind of people. Let’s wait and see."
"This place is no longer safe; we must move immediately." The person said nervously.
"Impossible, they’re here to help us." Jieke rushed in, saying, "Look, he even gave me a gun."
"You’re still young, you don’t understand." The person glanced at Jieke.
"Who’s young? I’m an adult now." Jieke said angrily. He’s already seventeen, and people here still treated him like a child, which frustrated him.
He had also seen Xiaoxuan by Xiang Yu’s side; Xiaoxuan seemed no older than him but was already out in the world with Xiang Yu.
The person ignored Jieke and just looked at Xi’er for a decision.
At this point, others had gathered, chattering away.
"Indeed, this place is no longer safe; we must relocate quickly."
"It’s all Jieke’s fault for bringing those people here and putting us in danger."
"Exactly, Jieke’s not a kid anymore; he should know better."
The surrounding chatter made Jieke angry; he gritted his teeth, "I don’t believe they’d betray us. I’m going to find them."
"Stop." Xi’er shouted, seeing her brother running outside.
But Jieke seemed to lose his mind and dashed outside like mad.
Xi’er intended to chase after him, but the people around were waiting for her decision; she had to consider the bigger picture.
"Alright, since everyone agrees we should relocate, we’ll move to Base Two, right now." Xi’er said decisively.
The people around nodded and began to pack their things. Yet, they were all complaining, blaming Jieke for their plight. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
After making her decision, Xi’er chased outside, worried Jieke might be in danger...
