Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God-Chapter 1434: Parachuting into Kunlun
After leaving the Mo Yin Sect, the phone signal came back.
Li Feng immediately made a call and arranged for a private jet. The group traveled from Henong City to the nearest airport and boarded the plane Li Feng had arranged.
"Wow, I never thought I would get to sit on a private jet someday."
Mo Fan was filled with emotion, sitting on the soft, comfortable sofa. Although he was a disciple of the Mo Yin Sect and an officer of the Superpower Investigation Bureau, he usually only traveled by high-speed train or in the economy class of commercial flights.
Reimbursements didn't even cover business class, let alone a private jet.
"Flying with an airline would take us to Zhuzhou City, and from there to the foot of Kunlun Mountain is at least a thousand kilometers of travel, possibly crossing the Sea of Death, which wastes too much time."
Having experienced it once, Li Feng naturally didn't want to go through it a second time.
"Indeed, Zhuzhou Province is the largest province in our country, and even delivery isn't free, but surely a private jet must land at an airport."
"Can we really fly directly there?"
Mo Fan patted the sofa leather and looked up at Li Feng.
"Of course we can fly there, but we'll need to change our landing method slightly,"
Li Feng said.
"What do you mean?"
"Parachute jump."
Li Feng didn't hide anything. The small town at the foot of Kunlun didn't have an airport, and there wasn't one within hundreds of kilometers. It's merely a small town, not even considered a city.
Without taking migrants into account, the population is only a few thousand, so how could there be an airport in such a remote place?
So if we want to go directly there, there's only one way: the plane flies over, and then people jump from the sky, allowing us to reach in an instant.
"Is it too late to get off the plane now?"
Mo Fan swallowed hard. His superpower is Earth Element, and he wasn't afraid of flying, but the idea of parachuting was daunting.
Chen Xiaoyue furrowed her brow and looked at Li Feng: "Why didn't you tell us this earlier? None of us know how to parachute."
"Parachuting is actually quite simple. I can teach you now, and as for the secret to parachuting, there's just one thing: remember to pull the cord."
The plane departed from Jinghu, flying west, and after two hours, it crossed three provinces and reached the Southern Border Kunlun area.
"Young Master Feng, we're just five minutes away from the target coordinates."
The beautiful flight attendant came over to inform Li Feng.
"Alright, I got it."
This private jet had been modified, the warehouse designed to open in the back half. Everyone put on their parachutes, and Li Feng checked each one.
"Once you jump, if you're unsure when to release the parachute, just watch me. When I pull the cord, you do the same, and remember to control the parachute's flight."
Beep beep.
Beep beep.
The green light to jump lit up inside the cabin. Li Feng gave a thumbs up to everyone and then, after a short run-up, dashed out of the cabin.
"Jump."
At this point, there was no turning back.
Li Nianqing and Chen Xiaoyue jumped out one after the other, followed closely by Xiang Tian.
"One day you'll be the death of me," Mo Fan grumbled through clenched teeth, and also took the leap.
The five jumped out of the plane. Li Feng remained calm and even backstroked in mid-air, glanced at the altimeter on his wrist, and then pulled the cord.
The parachute popped open, pulling Li Feng upwards, greatly reducing his descent speed. Looking back at the others, thankfully, no one forgot to pull the cord; all their parachutes were open.
After soaring through the sky for seven to eight minutes, Li Feng landed on his feet, rolled over to dissipate his momentum, and cut the cords with a dagger.
He looked at the other parachutes and ran towards the nearest one.
"Bend your legs and brace!"
Li Feng yelled.
In the next second, Li Nianqing landed, rolled over, and got tangled in the parachute. Li Feng went over, cut the ropes, and pulled Li Nianqing up.
"Are you hurt?"
"No, how about the others?"
Over a hundred meters away, Chen Xiaoyue hadn't yet touched the ground when she used a Wind Blade to cut the cords and landed lightly, a move that Li Feng would score full marks.
As for Mo Fan and Xiang Tian, they floated farther away; the landing spot seemed at least a kilometer out.
After taking some time to regroup with them, other than some dust on their clothes, they weren't injured.
"I'm really lucky," Mo Fan sighed when he met Li Feng and the others.
"But where are we now?"
"We should be picked up shortly,"
Li Feng answered.
Just as he finished speaking, a cloud of dust rose in the distance, and several people galloped towards them on camels.
"Finally found you all."
"I am Kunlun's Wudaozi. Are you the distinguished disciples of the Mo Yin Sect?"
"That's right."
"Let's get on the camels first. I'll take you to a resting spot, and then to Kunlun."
Without hesitation, they mounted the camels prepared by the strangers.
Riding on a camel, Li Nianqing asked Wudaozi, "We want to know the current situation in Kunlun. Could Brother Wudaozi enlighten us?"
"Even if you didn't ask, I would have told you."
"Currently, the situation atop Kunlun Mountain is at a standstill. Our Ancient Martial Righteous Path and the Demon Path are confronting each other. The Demon Path threatens us with the safety of ordinary city dwellers, forcing us to hold back. Fortunately, they realize their numbers are too few, so they haven't done anything drastic."
"Everyone awaits the developments within Kunlun Void. But this time, the Demon Path blindsided us, swarming into Kunlun Void. The disciples of various sects who entered beforehand may be threatened by them."
"So, the major sects have organized this reinforcement. We at Kunlun even spared no expense to use a Void Stone to open a passage."
"Have people from the other sects arrived yet?"
"You're among the first, so you might need to wait for the others. The numbers will be around seventy to eighty."
There are Three Sects, Six Gates, and ten major families in the Ancient Martial Righteous Path. It's like each sends three to four people, though not every sect or family can spare that many.
After all, elite members of each major sect are already in Kunlun Void. If another batch goes and something happens, even a strong sect would suffer significant losses.
After all, those selected are the most promising individuals, and in the Ancient Martial World, such talented disciples are rare resources. Not to mention the enormous cost of their cultivation.
Cultivation requires vast fortunes.
The town at the foot of Kunlun remains unchanged from three months ago, though the tensions are evident on the streets.
"Are there people of the Demon Path in the town?"
