Vampire God in the Apocalypse-Chapter 298 - 295. Moonstone shards
The spear suddenly lost weight in Dexter’s hand, and he threw it aside.
Tarzon was enraged and jumped toward Rameses to finally kill him, but Tracy got in front of him and blocked his claws.
"What are you doing?! Get out of my way!"
Tracy was thrown to the side with a slap, and Dexter grabbed Tarzon’s arm, looking him in the eye.
"Calm down. The moonstone is alright."
Following his words, Trisha and even Tarzon became confused. Trisha came toward him, using one hand to block her breasts while the little material covered her lower regions.
"What do you mean by that?" she asked, curious to know what Dexter was plotting.
"Here."
Dexter opened his second hand to show them pieces of the moonstone.
"If you notice, each shard is emitting a large amount of spirit energy. It should still be usable," Dexter said to them, and Trisha looked at Tarzon before taking a single shard.
Tracy came back at that moment and went toward Dexter. She looked at his open palm to see shards of the moonstone, then turned to Tarzon with an angry expression.
"What’s going on?" she asked with a low grunt.
"Hm... It seems the moonstone is still usable whether broken or intact," Dexter explained to her, and then she took a piece.
"Come..." Trisha gestured for Tracy to come with them, and they walked toward the forest with the shards.
"If it doesn’t work, I’m coming for that human," Tarzon said, his brows furrowed. "And if I don’t find him, I’ll come for you."
Dexter smiled at the threat directed toward him, then glanced over at Rameses, who had passed out on the ground. He carried him before flying back to the camp.
Night fell, and the moon was up. Below the night sky, on a tall mountain, the werewolves stood in a circle.
Tracy, Trisha, and Tarzon stood in the middle of all the wolves. Trisha raised her shard to the moon, and Tarzon followed.
Tracy had a hunch about what was going on, so she followed them and did the same.
The shards in their hands glowed brightly, and then they all faded into the air.

Tracy was confused as she saw the spirit interface in front of her. After reading what was on it, she couldn’t help but be stunned.
She looked at Trisha and Tarzon, seeing satisfactory smiles on their faces. They couldn’t help but howl at the moon.
Tracy howled along with them, and Karim behind her followed, showing their hearts’ content.
The next day, the camp seemed to be prospering quite smoothly. The witches kept bringing more and more people into the camp.
Dexter sat inside a hospital beside Rameses, monitoring the young military man.
Everyone had lived before the Tiran impact arrived. Some had lost hope and will as they lost everything, but Rameses was willing to fight for a future that might never come.
"Hm..."
Dexter glanced at Rameses as he heard a hum, then saw the man with wide eyes, staring at the ceiling.
"Calm down, you’re alive," Dexter said with a smile.

Rameses sat up from the bed, looking around with a frown. Then, he looked back at Dexter, who was chuckling silently.
"Turns out the broken moonstone still contained magical power. The white wolf, however, threatened to come for you if the stone didn’t work," Dexter explained with a smile, and Rameses sat back down.
"So... What am I going to do now?" Rameses asked, putting both his palms on his face.

Dexter sighed, handing Rameses a piece of the moonstone in his possession.
Rameses took it and still felt a bit of spirit energy emanating from it. He immediately stood up and walked to the door in a hurry.
He came to a halt and turned back to Dexter.
"Would it work?" he asked in a very low tone.
That fierce fighting spirit Dexter once saw in him had died down. Now, all he could see was someone scared of losing everything.
"Just try," Dexter said, standing up and walking behind him.
The two of them soon stood in Flair’s ward. Rameses poured spirit energy into the shard in his hand.
The shard floated in front of him, and he pushed the spirit energy into her body.
"Where did you learn that?" Dexter asked, fascinated by how Rameses used the item.
"Back in Egypt, even before the apocalypse, there was a council connected to the military. So, as part of our training, we were prepared in case we ever faced a supernatural. We were taught about various items and weapons," Rameses explained, and Dexter couldn’t help but find the Egyptian military quite interesting.
"The moonstone was what I found after going back there to find a cure for her. So yeah... you can say I’m some sort of wizard now."
Dexter chuckled at Rameses’ remark, then the shard dissipated into thin air. Both of them stared at the little girl as her eyes fluttered open.
Tears poured from the black man’s eyes, and Dexter could only smile at the scene.
He walked out of the room to let the siblings have time for themselves, then collided with a girl as he came out.
"This scent..." Dexter mumbled, looking down to see that it was Hannah he had bumped into.
Dexter held Hannah’s hand as they stood at the edge of their floating camp.
"What exactly is Trisha planning?" Dexter asked.
Hannah chuckled, her golden eyes staring into his.
"This is the first time you’ve called my mother by her name," she smiled.
"Anyway, she says a terrible evil will arrive soon. I don’t know what she means, and she didn’t explain to anyone at all," Hannah said, making Dexter sigh tiredly.
He laid flat on the roof and looked at the sky. Hannah climbed over him, a naughty smile on her face.
"Do you want a kid that badly?" Dexter asked with a smile, and she shook her head.
"I want you..." she mumbled, bending down to plant a kiss on his lips.
