[You have signed a partial Soul Pact with Alfred, the Gravity Sovereign!]
[You have received 1 shared Skill: Advanced Shadow Clone]
[Type: Level 60 B Rank Weaver Magister Skill.]
>Advanced Shadow Clone: When activated, you can conjure 20 identical shadow clones of yourself to trick enemy and each shadow clone can become the real you at any time with a single thought.
~----~
Sir Alfred already left his bedroom.
Alone, Julian took his time to read the notifications of the system as he validated his reason for choosing the Level 60 Skill.
He could have decided to choose a Level 100 S Rank Skill, but even with his vast amounts of qi with his Dragon Qi Core, Julian simply didn’t have enough qi and qi density to activate a Level 100 Mage Skill.
But due to all his advantages, his innate talent, his dual bloodlines, and his vast reservoirs of qi, he was the only Level 30+ Mage in the entire world that was capable of activating a Level 60 skill.
And this was not any Level 60 skill, this was ’Advanced Shadow Clone’, a skill notorious for its qi drain.
At the very least, Julian estimated that he had enough qi to activate the ’Advanced Shadow Clone’ 3 times in a battle.
This single skill alone elevated his combat ability and most importantly his life-preservation ability exponentially if he ever ran into an opponent that he couldn’t fight against.
It would help him escape, and it would help him survive where originally he was supposed to die.
This was all in his preparations for his next big mission after the Raid of Falaniondor.
But after the Theodore event, going to Dragon’s Tooth was no longer the only main mission that Julian had in mind.
Seraphina’s daring attempt genuinely angered him.
Yes, he knew they were enemies. Yes, he knew their battle resulted in the death of the other S Rank High Priestess of the Demoness Sect, but heck, even he lost his life due to that battle and he was not the one who sought aggression.
They did!
He would have understood if they decided to let bygones be bygones after that. But not only did those Witches not do that, they actively sought to assassinate him.
That flipped a switch in Julian’s head.
After Falaniondor, Julian already decided to turn the Demoness Sect into his next scapegoat to show that though weakened, he was not to be trifled with.
He did not care that the Demoness Sect was a far stronger world power than the Kingdom of Falaniondor, what mattered was that Dreadmoor was stronger than all of them.
He already scheduled another high-profile meeting in his meeting hall to address the events that happened, and the meeting would be due in 10 minutes.
Before that, Julian finally picked up a sinister gray dagger that was on the floor beside his leg.

[1-time Use S Rank Artifact Detected: Dagger of Inevitability!]
[Effects:]
[1. Annihilation of Fortune.]
>When activated, you can permanently destroy luck, blessings, destiny, and the divine favor of lower-ranked beings. (Lower-ranked beings mean below S Rank).
[2. One Hit Kill.]
>This effect combines the following Witch Skills: Thread Severance, Fated Outcome, Probability Collapse, and Inevitable Path to create an effect that enables a one hit kill with this dagger.
[NOTE: Both effects can only be used once and after, the Dagger of Inevitability will lose its powers and disintegrate.]

Julian exhaled.
The more he saw this, the more he was sure that if not for Lilith’s intervention, he would have likely died earlier today.
His eyes turned cold. ’An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth’.
...
10 minutes later...
Blink!
Julian appeared inside a familiar grand hall that was built like a throne room.
The hall stretched, dark, vast and imposing like a cathedral of shadow and dominion carved from black stone and obsidian marble.
Towering columns rose from both sides of the hall like petrified giants, their surfaces etched with ancient infernal runes that glowed faintly red, pulsing in slow rhythms as if the hall was breathing.
The ceiling was veiled in darkness, broken only by suspended chains, braziers of hellfire, and drifting embers that fell like dying stars.
Elevated upon a broad dais stood the throne, a high-back monolithic vessel that was forged of blackened metal and carved stone, looming beneath a towering arch of jagged ornamentation and acting as the heart of the hall.
As the master, Julian sat upon the throne like a God.
A week ago, he looked a bit out of place when sitting upon this throne but now, the situation was different.
Now, Julian owned it.
His presence was calm but overbearing like slumbering Dragon.
On the 10 high-back chairs that were arranged on both sides of the grand hall, 8 out of 10 were occupied. Even Lilith was present for this meeting.
They all stared at their Lord solemnly, waiting for him to speak, and Julian did.
"You all heard what happened this morning, you saw it". His voice rumbled like the deep bass of a talking drum.
"The Demoness Sect took the first steps of aggression when we were calm".
His lips curled up slightly. "Dreadmoor have never been one to answer aggression with silence, neither am I".
"And neither are you". His gaze swept across his 8 subordinates.
He paused, letting the silence build emphasis for what he was about to say next, then he opened his mouth. "From today, I declare war on the Demoness Sect".
"When you see a Witch of the Demoness Sect, hunt them".
"If they see you, they should hunt you too or they won’t live to tell the tale". His eyes gleamed as he exuded bloodlust.
"What I will be revealing next, I expect it to stay confidential".
"From today, I will be going on an extended training mission towards Dragon’s Tooth to accelerate my recovery speed".
Pandora opened her mouth to talk, but in the end she kept quiet.
Julian continued like he didn’t see her. "When I’m gone, go all in with the war against the Demoness Sect".
"Lilith, Elena..."
"Yes Lord Zaratul".
"I expect the both of you to coordinate and plan this properly, leading stealth raids into the Midnight Forest to assault them and find their hideout".
"When you finally find their hideout, inform me".
"I’ll personally lead the raid on Ravenhelm".
DING!
The Debauchery System lit up with a series of new system notifications.
