Chapter 111: Final preparations [3]

DING!

~----~

[You have triggered a new System Mission: Raid on Ravenhelm]

[Mission Reward: ???]

~----~

Julian briefly paid attention to the new system notification of the Debauchery System, wondering what type of reward he could get at the end if he completed the mission.

At the same time, the realization that he just gave the order to start another major war against another major powerhouse of this world settled in his mind.

’I have the power to end lives simply by giving the order,’ he thought quietly.

’Is this what Monarchs of my past life felt?’

’Is this what the ancient Conquerors felt?’

At that moment, he was jolted out of his thoughts.

"My Lord," Pandora finally raised her hand and interrupted as she could not hold it in anymore.

She hesitated slightly and bit her rosy lips. "A-are you going to Dragon’s Tooth alone? That’s one of the most dangerous places in the world".

Julian looked at her. "Are you saying I can’t survive it?"

She immediately became flustered. "I-it’s not that, it’s just that I’ll feel safer if I followed you as your escort".

Julian shook his head. "Don’t worry about me, I don’t need an escort. Prove your loyalty by raining hell on the Demoness Sect".

He looked her in the eye. "Can you do that for me?"

Pandora blushed. "Yes".

When Julian said that he wanted to personally lead the raid on Ravenhelm, he wasn’t bluffing.

This was as serious as he’d ever been regarding anything.

While his subordinates would start the skirmishing raids against the Witches in the Midnight Forest on his orders, turning the territory of the Druid Society into a battlefield, Julian intended to put all his effort and time into his quest for power in Dragon’s Tooth.

Just like his subordinates hid Dreadmoor, he expected the High Priestess of the Demoness Sect to properly hide their hideout too.

This meant that they likely wouldn’t be able to find the hideout immediately, and this worked in his favor since he gave him more time to slowly conquer the tallest mountain in the world while getting stronger in the process.

Julian quietly clenched his fists. ’It’s time to put in the work!’

After that, he no longer lingered in the hall with his subordinates as he let them discuss the details of the upcoming offensive retaliation against the Demoness Sect.

And that was where Elena took center-stage again as the Commander in Chief of Zaratul’s forces.

Blink!

While Elena briefed the others on her initial plan that she already came up with on the spot, Julian blinked out of the hall with Pandora.

On the outside, she already resumed her work as his personal assistant, though Julian knew that it was mostly because of her lovesickness. She wanted to spend as much time with him as possible before he left for Dragon’s Tooth.

...

Alongside the Succubus princess, Julian walked and arrived in front of a door in the castle that was previously left unoccupied.

This was the door leading to the room where Theodore settled.

The moment they arrived in front of the door though, Pandora frowned. "He’s gone".

"He’s trying to escape?" Julian asked casually as his qi flared.

He was unfazed.

Unless the High Priestess of the Demoness Sect came here herself, it was impossible for Theodore to escape the castle.

Qi Sight!

His red qi swirled as it quickly converged on his eyes, giving his sight a mystical edge and instantly, Julian noticed the faint traces of Theodore’s gray qi that were left in the air outside the door.

The Wolfkin carefully snuck out, but his lack of inexperience showed and was why he didn’t think of erasing his residual qi.

Julian looked down, tracing the faint qi residue down only to see a humanoid illusory gray footprint on the ground.

He raised his head as he traced multiple illusory gray footprints leading away from the door.

"I found him". Julian grinned. "Follow me".

Immediately, he started walking after the residual qi footprints that were left by Theodore, tracking him through it.

It took Julian longer than he expected as Theodore seemed to have used some anti-tracking measures to confuse him, but in the end, after about 3 minutes, they heard the sounds of beating coming from a certain direction.

Blink!

Julian and Pandora teleported there immediately and there, they saw 3 female Demonesses who were dressed in maid attire beating a Beastkin who had disguised to look like them.

The Beastkin was Theodore.

Theodore went as far as even wearing makeup just to fit in with the maids, but for some reason, they discovered his disguise.

The Wolfkin already broke down in tears again as the 3 Demonesses descended on him and beat him without mercy.

Even the weakest maid in Dreadmoor was at least Level 30.

They only stopped the moment that their Lord appeared and bowed respectfully. "Lord Zaratul".

Julian glanced down at the battered Wolfkin with a cold look on his face and demanded. "What happened here?"

The Demoness who looked like the oldest of the 3 answered. "We were sent on an errand by the Head Chef to go fetch certain materials from the food storage, only for us to suddenly notice him trying to blend with us".

"We don’t know him, so we simply decided to beat him and later report him to Commander Elena".

Julian quietly glanced at the sobbing Wolfkin, then he nodded. "Good, you can leave".

"Yes, Lord Zaratul".

After the Demonesses left, Julian stood for a long time as he just watched the Wolfkin cry and sob, wiping his tears and snot in a pitiful manner.

Pandora stood beside him, wondering what he was going to do.

Staring down at this vigorous young man who was sobbing and crying pitifully like a baby, Julian felt utter disgust.

He was surprised. ’I know I always hated weakness, but never this much. Is this because of my bloodlines?’

’What should I do with him?’

Despite his thoughts, the look on his face didn’t change as he stared down at the Wolfkin with a look of utter disgust on his face.

"Pathetic". He said coldly, and then...

Dominion Aura!

BZZZZZ!
