["Beware of an A Rank’s Domain Expansion!"]

"Domain Expansion?" Julian voiced his confusion out loud.

Hearing him, Puck reacted with a dazed look on her face. ’He doesn’t even remember what Domain Expansion means?’

Suddenly, she felt a pang of sadness and sorrow hit her which was quickly followed by rage. ’Those bastards! How dare they injure my Zaratul? I’ll kill all of them, I’ll kill every single one of them!’

The sudden quiet but heavy eruption of bloodlust from the Fairy stunned Julian as once again, this told him that he was not dealing with a child.

This was a bonavide Villainess with extremely powerful skills and powers.

Julian shuddered a bit when subjected to Puck’s aura of bloodlust, but then she reacted in a startled manner as his reaction reminded him that he was still currently weak.

Puck blinked, then she almost burst into tears as she flinched and flew up, her tiny fairy wings beating violently in a flustered manner. "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I completely forgot that... t-that you were here!"

She wanted to say that she forgot that he was still weak but at the last moment, knowing what kind of man Zaratul was, she changed her words.

"I’m sorry!" She said again in a clearly flustered manner.

Julian reacted with a nonchalant chuckle. "Its fine," he said, then he looked her dead in the eyes. "I still don’t remember lots of my memories, tell me, what is a Domain Expansion again?"

Hearing him admit his vulnerability so openly filled Puck with a pang of sadness and also told her once again that Zaratul changed.

She took a deep breath, then she started. "Some call it Territory Domain Expansion, others call it just Domain Expansion".

As soon as she started, she forgot about her previous sadness completely as she revealed an expression of thrill at the prospect of sharing knowledge. One of her favorite pastime was sharing her personal knowledge and narrating the stories that she read with others.

"A Domain Expansion is the first point where an Awakened no longer just uses skills, they impose authority over space".

"At Level 70 after the fourth Class Awakening, an A Rank Awakened projects their qi outward to claim a fixed radius territory, typically 50 meters where their Class identity becomes the dominant law".

"Warriors have the least starting range at 30 meters, but Mages and Archers have the highest starting range at 70 and 80 meters respectively".

Puck placed her hand under her chin in deep thought in a cute manner, thinking of how best to explain it then her emerald eyes lit up and she said. "Think of it as- within this space, the world obeys me more than it obeys you".

Julian nodded in understanding.

She continued. "The domain is not a separate dimension. It overlays reality, warping rules locally depending on the Class identity and Class Specialization".

"Inside a Domain Expansion, lower ranked Awakened are actively suppressed, but equal-ranked opponents can actively contest control".

"Does that mean 2 domains can cancel each other out?" Julian asked curiously.

"Yes," Puck nodded. "If both opponents are equal in power, domains typically cancel each other out, forcing them to fight normally".

"This is also why at A Rank, it’s literally impossible to face opponents with stronger powers, bloodline, and level because they can partially or fully override a lesser domain with their own domain".

"And this is also why an A Rank Awakened can never kill an S Rank, the difference in Domain Expansions is too vast".

Julian nodded in deep thought, then he asked. "Do Domain Expansions come with new Class skills?"

"No," Puck shook her head. "A domain does not create skills, instead it amplifies already existing skills while enforcing a Class Specialization’s core mechanics inside the domain territory".

Julian’s brain whirred and he concluded with a smile. ’Unless I’m looking to commit suicide, I should never confront an A Rank enemy alone till I’m A Rank!’

It wasn’t just a conclusion, he made it a rule for himself.

This was an essential rule so that he would not die a foolish death like Zaratul.

’Knowledge truly is power’. He sighed.

With a smile, he looked at Puck and said. "Are Domain Expansions invincible? Surely, apart from canceling them out with other domains, they have limitations right?"

Puck shrugged. "Well, every skill and power has a limitation and counter".

"For Domain Expansions, I’d say their limitations are their high qi consumption and the fact that they cannot be moved easily and have a fixed radius".

"Also, though every A Rank powerhouse has the innate ability, not all A Rank Awakened can use their Domain Expansions because strong mental focus and qi talent is required".

"Also," Puck raised her right index finger in a cute manner. "Prolonged use of a domain causes exhaustion".

"In a way, domains are battle-ending tools, not passive buffs".

Julian nodded thoughtfully, then he smiled. "You really helped me a lot this time, you deserve a reward, what should I reward you with?"

"Stay with me in my room!"

DING!

The Debauchery System lit up with a new notification.

’Did she just tell me to follow her to her room?’

Julian looked at the Fairy’s small frame. ’But...’

Seeing the look on his face, Puck could tell what was going through his mind as she snorted. "Wipe that look off your face, I’m older than you!"

"Really?"

"Of course!" She puffed up her cheeks in exasperation. "I’m 521 years old!"

’What???’ Julian almost fainted.

Seeing the hesitant look on his face, Puck puffed up her cheeks more but then she suddenly had an idea and smiled.

She looked at him. "If you agree to accompany me to my room, I’ll tell you about the advanced form of Domain Expansion that’s only unlocked at Level 90".

’Yes! What a smart idea Puck! Now, he’ll be interested!’ She thought smugly with a satisfied look on her face.

The cute look on her face easily told Julian what was going through her mind. Julian felt like laughing but she was right, he was indeed curious.

He asked curiously. "There’s an advanced form of Domain Expansion?"

"Of course, it’s called Domain Overlap!"
