Chapter 27: Chapter 26: Costume Photo Shoot

Unfortunately, Bella Acker waited, but Damian Sinclair never came.

Even on the day of the photography session, Damian Sinclair didn’t return to the villa, nor did he call or text her.

Is he really that busy?

Feeling a bit disappointed and downhearted, Bella Acker tidied herself up and took a cab to Westwood Photography.

When she arrived, Sandra Woods was already waiting outside the studio.

"Bella, why did you arrive so late? We’ve already started," Sandra Woods looked at Bella Acker’s face and frowned slightly, "What’s wrong? You don’t look well. Haven’t you been sleeping well these past few days? There’s a dark circle under your eyes."

"Yeah, I’ve been having trouble sleeping these past couple of days." Bella Acker forced a smile and changed the subject, "Is it already starting? Let’s hurry in."

Seeing that she didn’t want to say more, Sandra Woods didn’t ask further, "Let’s go. Today it’s just us supporting roles for the session, so we have enough time."

The two of them chatted as they entered the studio.

The director’s assistant saw them and, holding a notebook in his hand, approached and asked, "Bella Acker? Sandra Woods?"

"It’s us." Sandra Woods replied, "Sorry, there was a bit of traffic, so we’re slightly late."

"It’s alright." The assistant nodded, then turned and shouted into the distance, "Props team, makeup team, Bella Acker and Sandra Woods are here, take them for makeup and costume change."

After shouting, he turned back to them and said, "Once you’re ready, come out for the photoshoot. If you don’t understand anything, feel free to ask me or any of the experienced people here." After speaking, he hurried off.

Bella Acker and Sandra Woods were both participating in the photography session for the first time, and watching the busy figures in the studio, they couldn’t help but quicken their pace.

The two of them first followed the staff to the shared large makeup room. The makeup artist, observing Bella Acker’s complexion, frowned and said, "Your complexion isn’t good; your eyes are somewhat swollen and have dark circles. Let’s get some ice for you before applying the makeup."

The makeup artist’s assistant immediately set off to handle it.

The makeup artist turned to work on Sandra Woods first.

Bella Acker felt somewhat embarrassed.

The makeup artist’s assistant soon brought over ice wrapped in a pad and said, "Massage this around your eyes. Do you know how?"

"I do." Bella Acker nodded, "Sorry for the trouble."

The makeup artist’s assistant smiled politely and went back to other tasks.

In the makeup artist’s hands was a corresponding cast list, showing the roles everyone was playing and how their makeup should be done.

As absolute newcomers, Bella Acker and Sandra Woods simply needed to follow instructions.

Once their makeup was done and they were dressed in their costumes, the staff took them away again, this time to take photos.

Fortunately, although they were inexperienced, they managed to capture the essence of their characters, so the photoshoot went relatively smoothly.

Once they had usable photos, their work for the day was finished.

"Thank you, everyone." After completing the session, Bella Acker and Sandra Woods removed their makeup and changed back into their own clothes, then thanked all the staff.

Both were attractive and polite, which garnered goodwill from the staff. In response, they replied, "You both worked hard too."

The director’s assistant approached and said, "Here’s your script and lines. Memorize them when you get back. It also lists the joining time for the crew. Just follow the schedule. If there are any changes, we’ll notify you in advance."
