Damian Sinclair’s eyes flashed with a sudden fury, but it was quickly masked by indifference.

Director Ford noticed something amiss in Damian Sinclair’s expression and swiftly changed the topic, "President Sinclair, the opening ceremony is about to begin, please."

Damian Sinclair nodded slightly and moved forward with him, and naturally, the others followed suit.

The staff had already set up the stage, and there was an offering table placed on it. On the offering table were incense candles, candle stands, offerings of fruit, and a pig’s head.

Everything was ready, and at the auspicious time, the chief writer and the lead director each gave speeches, after which everyone offered incense.

Bella Acker was attending the opening ceremony for the first time and had no idea what to do. Fortunately, Ms. Cheney was there to prompt her, so she didn’t make any mistakes.

After the opening ceremony ended, Director Ford’s normally stern face showed a bit more cheer, "The producer has already booked tables at The Caspian Restaurant, everyone, let’s tidy up and head over together."

Bella was taken aback, and softly asked, "Ms. Cheney, is this a group dinner for everyone?"

Sharon Cheney smiled, "Yes. After an opening ceremony, the cast and crew usually have a meal together to get to know each other better, which makes it more efficient when work starts."

"Oh, I see." Bella nodded.

"What’s up? Do you have other plans today?" Sharon Cheney asked, puzzled.

"Not at all." Bella smiled. She hesitated because she didn’t have any money with her. If the dinner was split by each person, she wouldn’t be able to afford it and would have to borrow the money Sandra Woods lent her.

"Are you afraid of drinking?" Sharon Cheney considered another possibility, laughing as she patted her hand, "Don’t worry, you can sit with me and Elaine, and we’ll help you out. Though you might have to drink a little, we won’t let you be at a disadvantage."

Elaine Vaughn also nodded with a smile.

Bella actually wasn’t much of a drinker. Hearing this, she gratefully said, "Thank you, Ms. Cheney, Ms. Flynn."

Elaine Vaughn laughed, "Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve seen your Ms. Cheney take care of someone like this. Come on, I have a car parked over there, the three of us can go together."

Although the crew had cars, many actors had their own cars and would drive themselves. Only those without cars would squeeze into a car with the staff.

"You sure talk a lot." Sharon Cheney playfully slapped Elaine Vaughn. She did take extra care of Bella because she could see the young girl was straightforward and sincere, without ulterior motives. Besides, what she did was nothing more than what came naturally.

"Thank you, Ms. Cheney." Bella entwined her arm around Sharon Cheney’s, leaning her head affectionately on her shoulder.

Sharon Cheney smiled and patted her.

Director Ford turned back and also smiled, "I was going to have Sharon ride with me, but Elaine got to her first."

"Director Ford, sorry about that, next time you’ll have to be quicker," Elaine Vaughn joked as she led Sharon Cheney and Bella to the car.

The assistant had already opened the car door, Sharon Cheney got in first, and Bella was about to bend down to get in when she was suddenly called.

"Ms. Acker, our President Sinclair would like you to come over." Damian Sinclair’s assistant stepped up with a professional smile and gestured politely. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Bella was startled and instinctively glanced at Damian Sinclair’s car, saying, "I am fine riding with Ms. Flynn."

As soon as she finished speaking, the window of the car next to them rolled down, and Damian Sinclair, expressionless, said, "Ms. Acker, have you already forgotten the promise you made to me?"
