Chapter 92: Chapter 91: Losing Face

As Bella watched the female fan walk away, she exhaled deeply, "Senior Quinn, I nearly died of nervousness just now. Thank goodness for your quick thinking."

"Are you that afraid they’ll recognize me?" Archer Quinn asked while putting his mask back on.

"Of course." Bella nodded, "You’re a big star, after all. Sitting by the roadside eating, it’s so bad for your image."

If she recalled correctly, Archer Quinn’s management company intended to package him as an aristocratic figure. If fans recognized him eating street food by the roadside, how would he uphold that image?

"Bella, do you think the persona a celebrity creates is so important?" Archer Quinn asked.

Bella thought for a moment before sharing her honest opinion, "I’m not really sure if the persona is that important. But I feel that since so many people admire you, you should strive to live up to their admiration, right?"

"Even if it’s creating a false persona?" Archer Quinn asked seriously, his eyes, usually warm, growing serene.

Taken aback by his question, Bella paused before replying, "I don’t know. I suppose it’s dependent on the time and place. But the headmistress once told me something—she said even if someone is born bad, as long as they pretend to be good and manage to do so all their life, they’re good in the end."

"Making falsehoods become truths?"

"What did you say, Senior Quinn?" Bella asked, not catching his quiet words.

"Nothing, I just find it interesting. Let’s head back." Archer Quinn smiled, choosing not to carry on with the topic.

"Okay." Bella nodded, walking alongside him toward the bank.

They chatted as they walked, and soon returned to the bank.

Archer Quinn’s assistant had already finished his business and was waiting in the car. Upon seeing them return, he promptly got out, "Brother Quinn, Ms. Acker."

Bella bowed slightly, "Sorry for keeping you waiting."

"No, it’s fine, Ms. Acker. I only finished my errand recently." The assistant replied while opening the backseat car door, "Please get in, Ms. Acker."

"Thank you."

Bella got in first, followed by Archer Quinn.

Once the car began to move, the assistant mentioned, "Brother Quinn, I bought some local specialties here. We can take them back to The Longwind crew as gifts." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

"Alright." Archer Quinn nodded.

Bella was slightly surprised, "Senior Quinn, are you heading back today?"

"I still have some scenes to shoot for The Longwind. I must wait for them to wrap up before I can join the crew here. It won’t take long, ten days at most." Archer Quinn explained.

The assistant driving chimed in with a laugh, "Our Brother Quinn is relentless. Even rushing between crews like today is a breeze. Previously, when filming at the same studio grounds, Brother Quinn was busy hopping between three different shoots. He spent the whole year there, and we were exhausted just watching. He never complained once. This time, he filmed from late last night till dawn, rushed here for the opening ceremony, and has an evening scene awaiting him back at The Longwind after returning. He’s practically a robot."

"What?" Bella’s eyes widened, "Senior Quinn, you have an evening scene tonight? Will you make it back in time?"
