Within My Sect, All Realms Unite-Chapter 55: Coinciding destination’s
As the first ray of the morning sun slowly spread across the horizon, it revealed the destroyed valley in full clarity, the aftermath of battle laid bare under a calm golden light. The massive corpse of the beast lay motionless, its enormous frame dominating the landscape, while the ship rested nearby in eerie silence.
Lin Xiaotian slowly opened his eyes, a faint breath escaping him as clarity returned and his thoughts settled once again. The heaviness in his body had mostly faded, and judging by the surroundings, the others had also recovered from the previous battle.
He stood up steadily, adjusting his posture as his gaze naturally fell upon the Moon Veil Pavilion fairy standing not far away, her figure quiet and composed against the rising light. After a brief pause, he walked toward her with an unhurried pace.
As he approached, she turned slightly, her eyes landing on him with calm awareness, acknowledging his presence without surprise. Lin Xiaotian gave a faint smile, his expression relaxed, carrying that familiar trace of shameless ease.
"It seems the road ahead would be far more enjoyable with a fairy like you accompanying us," he said smoothly, his tone light yet deliberate. "But it feels a bit unfair that we still do not properly know your name."
He tilted his head slightly, his gaze steady yet impressing. "Would this fairy be willing to enlighten me?"
Hearing this, the woman looked at him for a brief moment, her eyes narrowing slightly as if measuring his intent, before letting out a soft sigh.
"My name is Chu Yue," she replied calmly, her voice even and unhurried. "It is nothing more than an ordinary name."
Lin Xiaotian nodded lightly, as if savoring the name for a moment before responding.
"A simple name... yet it suits you well," he said, his tone natural, before continuing without pause. "May I ask where your destination lies, Fairy Chu?"
Hearing this, she did not hesitate and took out a map, unfolding it smoothly before pointing toward a location deep within the forest. The marked area lay nearly five hundred miles away, hidden within dense and uncharted terrain.
Lin Xiaotian’s gaze followed her finger, and the moment he saw the location clearly, his eyes sharpened slightly. It was not because of the distance, nor the danger that such a place implied, but the realization that he has seen this location before.
Without delay, he opened the system map in his mind, and the result appeared instantly before him. The location she pointed to... Was the exact same place the system had marked as the source of demonic corruption.
He looked at her and took a deep breath, his gaze turning slightly serious as the scattered clues in his mind finally began to connect together. "It looks like you’ve caught a really big fish," Lin Xiaotian said slowly, his tone carrying a deeper meaning than the words themselves.
Chu Yue looked at him in confusion, her clear eyes narrowing slightly as if trying to understand what he had suddenly realized. Before she could ask anything further, however, Lin Xiaotian had already turned away, completely ignoring her reaction and whatever question she was about to raise.
His expression changed quickly.
"Hurry up, everyone," he said at once, his tone no longer carrying the earlier lightness, but instead a quiet urgency that made the disciples straighten almost immediately. The calm atmosphere on the deck shifted again as everyone sensed that something important had suddenly changed.
Lin Xiaotian then walked toward Han Leu, his face calm and composed, but the moment he reached behind him, his tone changed into something so sweet that it sounded almost demonic. "Oh, First Elder, you are the strongest among all of us, so naturally it is time for you to lead us once again."
Han Leu slowly turned his head and looked back at him, his expression freezing for the briefest moment as a forced smile appeared on his face. Deep inside, however, only one thought echoed through his mind with complete certainty.
Sect Master is a real demon.
Even so, Han Leu swallowed all his thoughts and said nothing, because experience had already taught him that arguing with Lin Xiaotian rarely led to anything good. With a calm expression on the surface, he turned and walked toward the control runes of the ship once more.
Reaching the central formation point, Han Leu crouched slightly and began placing spirit stones into the corresponding rune slots one after another. As the stones settled into place, faint lines of light spread across the formation, and he slowly released his divine sense into the ship to activate it fully.
The ship trembled softly.
Then, under the flow of spiritual power, the massive vessel slowly lifted into the air once more, the surrounding runes flickering alive with a low hum as the formation awakened. But almost immediately, Han Leu’s brows furrowed, because this time the process did not feel smooth at all.
There was resistance.
Not the natural resistance of lifting such a massive ship, but a strange unevenness within the formation itself, like some of the internal circuits were no longer properly aligned. Han Leu’s face darkened slightly as he turned his head and looked back toward Lin Xiaotian.
Lin Xiaotian shamelessly returned the gaze without even the slightest embarrassment, as if he had long expected this exact look from him. Then, in an extremely natural tone, he explained, "The cannon was overloaded a little earlier, and it destroyed some of the inner circuits."
He paused for half a breath, then added even more shamelessly, "But don’t worry, Elder Han, it can still fly."
Han Leu’s eyelid twitched hard.
At that moment, he genuinely felt the urge to throw the Sect Master off the ship first and repair the vessel second, because calling that situation "a little overloaded" was pure nonsense. The state of the circuits was clearly not something that came from a "little" overload.
Just as Han Leu was about to curse him properly, Lin Xiaotian spoke again before he could open his mouth, his timing precise in a way that felt deeply practiced. "In the last battle, I noticed your sword is a little damaged, and it has probably affected your combat strength more than you showed."
Han Leu paused.
Lin Xiaotian continued calmly, his expression steady as if he were discussing the weather. "When we get back, I’ll give you another top-tier Earth-grade treasure to replace it."
The moment those words entered his ears, Han Leu swallowed back everything he was about to say, all the anger and complaint disappearing in a single instant. His face remained mostly calm, but the change in his eyes was impossible to miss.
...Sect Master, even if you tell me to fly this ship to the moon, I will still do it.
Inside, his attitude had already completed a perfect reversal, but outwardly, Han Leu still tried very hard to maintain the dignified bearing of a First Elder. With a light cough, he turned his face away and continued guiding the ship as if nothing had happened. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
"I see," he said flatly, forcing a tone of nonchalance. "Then I shall continue."
Not far away, Chu Yue quietly watched the entire exchange, and the more she watched, the stranger her expression became. Her original calm remained, but beneath it was now a faint trace of genuine confusion that she could no longer suppress.
Top-tier Earth-grade treasure...?
That was not something one casually promised.
In the entire Yangzhou region, the only known top-tier Earth-grade treasure belonged to the Zhou family, and even that treasure was only half-destroyed and no longer at its full former power. Yet this young sect master had just casually spoken of giving one away as if it were nothing worth mentioning.
Her eyes landed on Lin Xiaotian again.
Before this, she had mostly treated him as some strange young master playing at sect leadership, someone shameless, somewhat interesting, but still difficult to take fully seriously. But now, that earlier judgment was beginning to loosen.
Was he really bluffing? Or was he truly from some background much greater than what he showed on the surface?
