World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World-Chapter 30: Shopping For Dinner Outfits
Chapter 30: Shopping For Dinner Outfits
James parked in front of a huge female luxury clothing store and got out of the car. He made sure that the car was locked, before walking into the store.
Inside, he was greeted by a beautiful lady who walked up to him immediately.
"Hello, sir. Welcome to Oscar De La Royale, how may I be of help," the lady asked, with the most genuine smile James has seen on any salesperson.
It wasn't like he forced customer friendly smile the other salespersons he has met always had on their face when interacting with him. It was the also the same smile that he always sported back when he was still working at the nightclub.
"I'm looking for a dress for two beautiful women. They are my family and I'm taking them out for dinner, and I want them to look good as I'm taking them to somewhere fancy," James replied, explaining his situation.
"I understand. Please wait here and let me get you some of the dresses I'm sure you and the ladies would love," the lady said, and walked to a corner of the store.
James nodded and stood where he was, while the sales lady go get the dresses. While he waited, he decided to check his unread system's notifications.
[You spent $34. 10x rebate has been applied. You have received $340. The money has been sent to your bank account.]

'I've spent almost $25,000, which means I should still have more than $900,000 in rebate eligible funds. And after the rebate is applied on it, it would boost my account balance by $9M,' James thought to himself.
James was happy with his progress. He had no idea that he would actually be able to make so much in just a week. He knew that he has Ralph to be grateful to, as he was the one that gave the martingale strategy that helped him around the rebate restrictions.
If it wasn't for the martingale strategy, James felt that he might still be on the first mission even by now.
James was still thinking about the system and mission, when he saw the sales lady walking towards him, with two dresses in her hands.
She got to where he was and brought one of the dresses closer to him, and started explaining everything about it.
James naturally didn't listen to whatever it was she was saying. He didn't pay attention when Laila was introducing the car, so there was naturally no way that he would listen to dresses specifics.
"I like the both of them. How much do they cost?" He asked, causing the sales lady to be a little surprised.
The sales lady composed herself immediately and smiled.
"I brought them here for you to choose which one you think would suit your ladies more, but since you want the both of them, everything will be processed. Please follow me." She nodded at him, and walked to the counters, with James following behind her.
At the counter, the sales lady gave the two dresses to the cashier, who scanned the tags on the dresses.
"It would be a total of $7,512 for the two dresses, sir," the cashier said, after she was done with the calculations.
James didn't bother to say anything else as he took out his debit card and told her to swipe it.
While the cashier processed the payment, the sales lady started packaging the dressed into two shopping bags. And she placed the shopping bags on the counter after she was done.
She turned to James and smiled.
"You're a very lucky and sweet man, sir. You love your two women very much and I'm sure they love you just as much."
James was surprised by the sales lady's words. He felt that she misunderstood something. Patty and Leslie are his family and not his women.
He wanted to correct her but he felt there was no need for that, and he smiled back at her.
To him, the sales lady can misunderstand the situation all she wants, as long as it doesn't affect directly or indirect. He would be fine.
He turned his attention back to the cashier and he saw that she was already done with processing the payment.
He collected his debit card, took the two shopping bags and walked out of the store. He walked to his car and got in, and dropped the shopping bags in the back seat, before starting he started the car and drove off towards the location of another clothing store.

Few minutes later, James arrived at his destination. He got out of his car and walked into the male luxury clothing store in front of him, and he was greeted by an elder man.
"What may I help you with today, young sir?" The man asked, with a kind smile on his face.
"I want something nice for a dinner outing. Not classy but says the right words, and it should be perfect," James replied.
"I see... I think we have something like that. Please wait for me, while I get you for you," the man said, and nodded slightly before leaving.
A few minutes later, the man was back and he was holding two suits in his hands. One was a navy blue and the other was dusty gray.
"Which one of the two do you like, sir?" The man asked.
James found himself unable to choose between the two suits. He has never actually worn a suit before and he doesn't have a sophisticated taste, so he has no idea on how to go about things like this.
He wouldn't had even bother buying a suit if it wasn't that he was taking them to a fancy, upscale restaurant.
If he was taking them to a casual restaurant, he would had just put on one of his new clothes and he will be set to go.
The man seeing that James was having trouble, making a choice, smiled.
"Do you need my help?" He asked with the kind smile never leaving his face.
"Yes. Which of them do you think would be the best?"
"Take this one," the man said, and gave James the navy blue colour suit.
"This is a plaid wool-silk suit." He added.
James nodded slightly and thanked the man, as he collected the suit.
"Also, you will need a pair of shoes, socks and a watch. From the look on your face, you're going on a dinner date. Even if it's not one of those and it's for business purposes, either way you have to look your best, present yourself in a way that would make an everlasting first impression on whoever it is you're going to meet," the man said.
James nodded in agreement when he heard what the man said. He felt that it might be an overkill but he decided to take the man's advice.
To James, the man has probaby been in this line of work for a long time and he has a lot of experience in things like this. If he's saying that James needs those things, then he really need those things.
The man seeing that James agreed to his suggestions, smiled in approval and left to bring the items.
He was back a couple of minutes later with the pair of shoes, socks and a watch in his hand. He dropped them on the counter and asked the female cashier to calculate the total cost.
"That would $13,254, sir," the cashier said.
"The suit costs $9,550, the shoes, $2,600, the watch cost $1,075, and the socks is $29," she added, explaining the individual cost of what James bought.
James gave her debit card to begin the processing the payment. And while she was doing, the man was carefully putting the items he bought into shopping bags.
Seeing how careful the man was being with his things, James couldn't help but smile.

A couple of minutes later, the cashier was done with processing the payment and she gave James back his card.
James collected his card, thanked the man for hus help, before leaving the store with a smile.
The next time thing for him to do now was to make reservations at the restaurant he wants to take Patty and Leslie to.
