As the ladies went inside the main city, they noticed that this city was overflowing with undeads. There were so many of them that they were basically uncountable.

These undeads had managed to increased their population in this abandoned city completely unchecked for who knows how many years. And the current situation was the result of that.

Now it made perfect sense why the air of this floor was so terrible. With so many undeads living inside, it was only natural.

Fortunately for the ladies, most of the undeads were very weak. Just one casual attack from the ladies was able to take out several of them. But actually, the warrior ladies were not really attacking anything here.

The zombies were way to disgusting in both looks and smell. So, the ladies did not have any desire to touch them with their bodies or even the weapons. So the mages and the long range attackers needed to take care of this task.

And even among the mages, Grace was doing the best job. As soon as any of the undeads, be it a zombie or rarely found skeleton, were coming in contact with her holy purification magic, their unlife was coming to an end.

After Grace, it was actually Tega who was also doing a very good job. Her water magic made super large creatures who were taking out a large number of undead opponents and was clearing the way forward.

The reason why Aurora was falling a little behind Tega in this task was simple. The element of fire was her most area of effect having element and she was unable to utilise that at all here.

And the reason for that simple. The smell of burning zombie meat was even more terrible compared to the smell of just the zombies. And for some reasons, Grace’s purification domain was not able to remove the smell of the burning rotten flesh.

So fire magic was completely unusable here. And that was why Aurora was doing slightly worse than Tega. But still, her wind and water magic was destroying the zombies at a fast rate too.

So far, with the mages taking care of the troubles, the journey had been extremely smooth for everyone else. But after some time, suddenly the strength of the zombie and other undeads attacking them had increased out of nowhere.

They were still not a threat to the ladies because even though the strength of an individual undead had increased, their numbers had actually went down slightly. So the ladies were still able to take care of them.

Some time passed just like this and the exploration team finally came across something that could be considered to be somewhat of a threat. It was a dark skeletal knight riding a headless horse. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Seeing this Death Knight Rider, Sarmonica went to fight it all on her own. Death Knight Riders were B rank monsters but they were weak to heavy attacks. So Sarmonica with her super large axe should have an advantage against this monster.

But after a few minutes, the other ladies needed to join the battle. Sarmonica was on the verge of being defeated and killed. This death knight rider turned out to be special and insanely strong. In his life, he definitely was a very accomplished knight and that was without any doubt.

The ladies managed to defeat him but only after everyone had to step in. In terms of strength, he was almost at the peak of an A ranker. The sudden arrival of this extremely powerful enemy took all the ladies by surprise and made them very vigilant going forward.

Even the weapon that this death knight rider was wearing was a powerful item. The ladies decided to gift that to Ren.

But before continuing their journey again, Azusa had a spell to test out. This was actually one of the spells that she had created following the example for her beloved sister, the god killing Witch of Catastrophe, Miranda.

This spell should have the ability to capture a departed soul as her servant. But she would have only a single chance for each departed individuals. And it was supposed to be completely useless on monsters.

But the undeads were a special kind of monsters. And as this Death Knight Rider really looked to be a trapped Great Knight from the past, Aurora deduced that her chance of success here was not low.

So she decided to use this magic and test it out. There was no loss in at least trying this. Even if it failed, that would not be a big deal and instead it would be exactly what was to be expected.

With that in mind, Aurora drew a very large scale magic circle. And seeing the complexity of this spell, all the other mages present were extremely surprised. But was only to be expected as this spell was created by the one of if not the greatest magic user of all time.

When Aurora activated the spell, she was truly not very hopeful. But to her utter surprise, this time, the spell actually worked.

A transparent soul appeared before her. And surprisingly, she had managed to summon not only the soul of the departed knight but also his beloved horse who was also included with him as an extra. It looked like he and his horse had almost became one after facing many battlefields together.

The face of the knight was blurred and not recognisable. But even then, from just the way he was standing and the aura that he was giving off, it was clear that this person was definitely was a super Knight who had left his glorious name behind in many battlefields.

But for some reason, this once glorious knight had turned into an undead roaming a dungeon. And now, it had became a servant of a witch. This was actually somewhat of a sad end for a knight like him.

But it looked the person in question did not mind that. He very gracefully went on his knees and bowed his head to his new mistress, Aurora.

So just like that, immediately after starting the exploration of the fifth floor, Aurora had gotten herself a very powerful knight servant.
