Chapter 531: A Dream Fulfilled.

After the massive battle against the domain beasts that was led by their leader where over a hundred Leviathons lost their lives, the Leviathons fulfilled the test of their ancestor at last with over a thousand of them surviving.

Once they arrived at the peak of the Domain Mountain, all the Leviathons were ecstatic from the least to the strongest as they looked on at Sebastian with reverent eyes until he entered the tent first.

After Sebastian entered the tent and was followed by the Crooked Overlord, the remaining Leviathons took this as their cue and entered also.

They were extremely hyped to get the reward that the greatest ancestor of their race prepared for them for completing the inheritance test that he left behind.

Once they entered, they were exposed to the same environment that Sebastian saw but the difference was that they were all alone.

In all the tents that these Leviathons were transported to, they saw the same box that Sebastian saw and the intelligent consciousness of the Ocean King.

On seeing this revered ancestor of their race, all the Leviathons became extremely excited as they rushed to pay their respects.

From their reactions, their difference from Sebastian became as clear as day, the reverence that was displayed by either side on seeing the Ocean King was miles apart. The Ocean King knew the reason for this but he didn’t care.

Having anticipated the massive war that would befall Oceania in the coming future, the Ocean King indeed feared for the survival of his race which was why he set up this inheritance ground inside his Domain World.

Perfectly knowing the egoistical and lone nature of Leviathons, the Ocean King knew that normal methods would not work which was why he resorted to taking drastic measures to make his plan succeed.

Even a Leviathon as powerful as he became in his prime still succumbed to the power of the collective and died, and this was all because he thought he could do everything alone.

Even in death, the Ocean King still regretted his lonesome personality.

It was at his moment of death that he saw it all, the cons to living a lonely life were far too greater than the pros to take it.

If he was like the Beast King and had such an expansive army of beasts with different qualities and personalities, perhaps, the outcome of the massive war against the Atlantian Empire would have been different.

Even if he didn’t have such an expansive army of beasts, if he at least had the connections of predators like the Necromancy King, his fate could have been different but this was all too late to change.

What he learned before his death was that isolation was only good for a time, but taking it as a way of life was bad, living organisms were social organisms.

To survive, you needed to be social, that was his solution. And from there, his dying wish became the quest to liberate his race from their lone wolf nature.

The Ocean King’s intelligent consciousness knew that Sebastian was not a full-fledged Leviathon the moment that he arrived inside the Domain World.

Originally, if this was centuries ago, the intelligent consciousness would have mobilized the power of the Domain World to eradicate this pest immediately but he didn’t because the method that he choose to nurture a leader was not working.

He allowed Sebastian to live as an experiment, and it was this experiment that gave him the reward that he wanted, Sebastian became the leader of the Leviathons and the Ocean King was placed in a dilemma.

In the end, he decided to gamble and accept this half-blood Leviathon since none of the purebloods proved capable of being a leader.

While Sebastian received such special attention from the Ocean King’s intelligent consciousness, the consciousness only explained the importance of the mind stabilizer to the other Leviathons and helped them integrate with it.

Once the precision surgery was performed and the mind stabilizer was placed inside their heads, the consciousness mobilized the power of the Domain World as he suppressed the Leviathons to let them heal and mutate.

The mind stabilizer was not just any treasure. This was a well-created organic structure that was programmed to integrate into the brain of its target and settle there like it was a part of the brain.

Doing this procedure for over a thousand Leviathons was taxing, but the intelligent consciousness persevered through it all as he watched them carefully.

As the Leviathons slowly adapted and their system accepted the presence of this intruder, the intelligent consciousness revealed emotions for the first time since it was created as memories of its life remerged.

As the mind stabilizers settled down in the brains of the Leviathons, the Ocean King felt like he could see the dream of his friend being fulfilled.

His friend who created the mind stabilizer was an anatomist, perhaps the greatest anatomist that he had ever seen.

This crazy friend of his bought into his dream to create the ultimate treasure that would empower generations of Leviathons into becoming powerful telekinesis warriors without needing to stress too much about it.

His friend was the one who after a lot of trials and failures harnessed the power of the mind rocks and integrated it into a fragile organic tissue that could be integrated into a Leviathon’s head.

As the intelligent consciousness lost more power due to aiding so many Leviathons at the same time, and as it slowly started dissipating, only the memories of his friend and that he fulfilled his ultimate goal remained in his mind.

An hour later, the first Leviathon, the Crooked Overlord woke up.

Once she woke up, the intelligent consciousness finally dissipated after saying his last words. "Sebastian, the fate of the Leviathon race is in your hands".

"Do not disappoint me..."

On waking up, the Crooked Overlord felt like she heard someone mumbling but she saw no one. She didn’t pay much attention to this tiny detail though as she was fascinated by all the changes that happened in her body.

Not exactly her body, most of the changes happened in her head, precisely her brain. This female Leviathon felt clear-headed like never before.

At this moment, her concentration seemed to be on another level as she could now notice some tiny details that she failed to notice before.

Her instincts, perception, intuition, everything seemed to have increased. It was like she just evolved when she clearly knew that she was still a Red tier predator, this was a novel experience for her.

The greatest feeling that she experienced at this moment was when she felt that her mind power became a lot more solidified, powerful, and expansive.

"Damn, I feel so..., so good!"

As she exclaimed, the other Leviathons started waking up one after the other as they experienced the same novel feelings that she felt.

In a few minutes, all of them were awake except one, their leader.

Once they identified this truth, the pinnacle Red tier Leviathons quickly took the lead as they organized themselves and hovered before the massive tent that was made after the Ocean King as they silently waited for their leader.

They waited for over an hour and 30 minutes, then he finally came out.

Sebastian came out as a Red tier predator!
