Chapter 2884: The Primordial Beast Nidhogg

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg charged towards the tree of life in an attempt to devour it completely. It would have been fine if it would just rampage around or anything but it actually targeted the tree of life. This prompted all of the gods of life to actually become alert and even aid the world in transporting all of the players that will go against it.

All of the players became ready as they waited for the towering figure of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg to arrive. The players did not know what they were going into but they know that they will be in a raid against a primordial beast. All of them wanted a piece of the pie since raids of powerful monsters like this for world quests are incredibly rare.

"I even arrange the guild alliance to deal with the Primordial Beast Nidhogg but it seems it was all for nothing. The world itself called upon a quest to make sure that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg is killed. It seems that my foresight is still lacking if the world itself is asking for all players to kill it. The guild alliance itself will not be enough to stop it then." Adrian stated and he poke Levin Cloud to see if he is already awake.

Levin Cloud could be seen sleeping while grass and flowers grew around him like a natural hug. The sight would amaze anyone as if the world itself loves him so much that it does not want it to have him sleep in discomfort. Seeing that he cannot wake up his best friend, he stood up to check the situation outside via Sirius.

Sirius could be seen attached to a shadow of a branch of the world tree and is looking at the large monster charging towards the world tree. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is so huge that it was actually five times the size of the current world tree. Adrian could not believe it but he also factored in how large the mother tree was.

The mother tree was so huge that it covered Alfheim’s land area which meant that only a true colossal monster will be ever to kill it. The fact that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg could live and not be killed the mother tree meant that it has the strength and tenacity to do so. Just because it is called the tree of life does not mean it cannot summon the force of nature to kill another being to protect itself.

The tree of life that Adrian is currently sitting on is in a state of hibernation because he transferred the power of the dying mother tree to this one. He did not expect that it would actually work as it was basically like soul transplant but then the mother tree and this tree of life have the same soul origin. It is not farfetched to say that the current tree of life in Neo Alfheim is an offshoot of the mother tree.

"The Dryad Makiling must have been tasked with something far greater if she sacrificed her life and time into making sure that this tree of life survives. I am also quite sentimental since this one is the one that I saved. I am not going to let an enlarged lizard get in the way of that." Adrian stated as he stepped his foot once but his body suddenly shuddered from the exhaustion.

"I will just rest here for a moment. Should I also sleep to recover quickly?" Adrian muttered as he looked at Levin Cloud sleeping soundly.

Meanwhile, the large Primordial Beast Nidhogg could now be seen up close as its large body is going closer to Neo Alfheim. All of the High Elves and Elves of Neo Alfheim suddenly appeared and casted their magic. The ground and even large vines suddenly started to rush towards the Primordial Beast Nidhogg in an attempt to slow it down. The only problem is that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg did get slowed down but its body was not damaged.

"The immunity to elemental damage is true and is more terrifying than I imagined. Archers!" Anastacia shouted as she commanded all of the Evergreen guild archer to load their arrows.

"Release!" Anastacia shouted as the elven archers released all of their arrows at the same time.

Numerous arrows flooded the sky and it rained down on the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg ignored this because it believed that its body is superior. What the Primordial Beast Nidhogg did not know is that all of these arrows are cursed arrows.

"Fire!" Anastacia once again commanded the archers and they released one more attack.

The large volley of cursed arrows pierced the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg and it actually felt the pain. It just felt like a pin prick but numerous ones would make any being big or small react. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg suddenly released a scream that created a powerful blast of air that scattered the arrows around.

The players suddenly found themselves in a dangerous situation as the arrows came towards them from what the Primordial Beast Nidhogg had done. Just as the arrows were about to come and deliver piercing hell, numerous tornadoes suddenly manifested which then became alight and burned everything.

"I hope that we are not late for the party." The Elemental Kings stated as they have recovered from the effects of the world fusion and they even brought the other elementals that evacuated first.

"Show off." The Fairy King stated as he released powerful support magic that buffed all of the players by twice of everything.

"The Elemental and the Faekin have arrived as our support. Deal with the Primordial Beast Nidhogg in order to keep our territory safe!" Anastacia shouted as all of the Evergreen members rallied with her.

The other players that came to hunt down the Primordial Beast Nidhogg also got caught up in the heat of the moment and charged. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg was so large that they needed to attack different areas of its body in order to even deal damage. This meant that any player can have great contribution as long as they played it safe.

The players also have the support of the Evergreen guild where lots of healers are a part of. One could say that they would never die as long as they do not get killed instantly. Even if they do get killed instantly, the Evergreen Guild Master can cast area wide revive in her territory which means they have second or maybe even third chances.

The players became excited because of the sudden support but they also forget that their enemy is the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. A being that has chewed on the roots of the mother tree and lived for thousands of years. The mother tree itself cannot kill the Primordial Beast Nidhogg which is a testament to its raw strength.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg then released its frills and created a clicking sound. The Elemental King already know what that is and immediately told all those that charged towards the Primordial Beast Nidhogg to stop. They were warned but it was already too late since they were near the location of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg.

[The Primordial Beast Nidhogg has cast Hellion Sandstorm.]

Sand particles suddenly got released from the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. These sand particles were also extremely hot which made them burn skin instantly when exposed. The players that were extremely close to the Primordial Beast Nidhogg suddenly screamed in pain as one particle of sand bore through their armors and seared their skin.

"We have no choice but to save them." The Wind Elemental King stated as he and the other wind elementals turned themselves into powerful gusts of wind.

The wind elementals created a dome that trapped all of the sand particles but that was what the Primordial Beast Nidhogg wanted. As soon as the wind elementals rescued the players, a grin could be seen from the Primordial Beast Nidhogg face but it was tough to make out since it is an ugly looking serpent lizard. The wind elementals finally knew that the Primordial Beast Nidhogg felt strange but it was too late. π‘“π‘Ÿπ‘’π˜¦π“Œπ‘’π‘π‘›π‘œπ˜·π‘’π˜.π’Έπ˜°π‘š

[The Primordial Beast Nidhogg used Elemental Disruption.]

A powerful pulse of electric looking energy got discharged from the body of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg. The powerful pulse of energy then disrupted the wind elementals and blew them away. The wind elementals were not killed but they suddenly had a physical form as soon as they dropped on the ground from the blast. The loss of the support of the wind elementals made the Hellion Sandstorm continue.

The Primordial Beast Nidhogg can actually use multiple skills while one is still active. This was not a raid boss that is easy. The Primordial Beast Nidhogg is a raid boss that does not follow the conventional nature of raid bosses. It was a moving calamity as it actually started to move while releasing the Hellion Sandstorm and the Elemental Disruption.
