One-Eyed Monster
Chapter 925 - 923: Push Too Far (Part 2)
Stan Sol described this strange feeling as indescribable because whoever experiences it also feels bewildered.
Igor underwent a transformation after that shout.
This change was unbelievable because after the shouting, Igor ran faster and faster.
So fast that the figure originally in front of him was overtaken by him!
As Igor's figure brushed past that person, the person directly widened their eyes: "Are you freaking kidding me!"
But there was no choice; the flames came right after, and the person had no choice but to joyfully chase after.
As Igor ran, his heart was uneasy; damn, where should I run to? Not sure if there is danger ahead or if stones will fly over…
Before he finished worrying, a flying stone suddenly appeared in front of him…
Igor inwardly shouted "Not good," quickly shifted his body sideways, successfully dodging the stone, but lost balance nearly falling, as the flames were still chasing and embers flared up from the ground, forcing him to twist his unsteady body to continue running.
Probably when resting later, he'll discover which part of his body got hurt. Igor had no idea which part of his body he used for support to balance; anyhow, he could run again.
Then, Igor heard the person behind him begin to complain: "Damn, here we go again, stones, can't a person catch a break!"
No choice, more flying stones came; truly a case of thinking about something and it happens.
Igor ran and ran without any direction; there wasn't even a chance for him to find a direction, as stones came if he ran this way, embers flared up when he ran that way… No fixed path, only aimless running.
The figure now was at wit's end; dangers were everywhere, not following Igor, yet the chasing flames split directly towards him, making him a bit frustrated, until unwittingly he ran beside Igor again!
"Damn, where the hell did you spring from!" Clearly this figure was still caught up on the issue while simultaneously avoiding various attacks and complaining.
Igor felt this person's speaking manner was much like Stan Sol's; could this person be Tobin?
In such a tough environment, needing to run to escape the chasing flames, dodge flying stones, and watch the rhythm of embers flaring up from the ground… Igor truly had no way to divide his focus to talk, now lacking the ability to shout like that person while running.
Igor was now yelling "Ah ah ah," internally with a thousand galloping horses; fortunately his adaptation skills were quite strong, gradually getting used to the chaotic manner of running, and his speed unknowingly increased…
This adaptability left the figure feeling bewildered; who the heck was this person, causing such a big commotion upon arrival!
"Hey! Can you, say something!"
"Ugh ah ah, woo woo…" Clearly Igor still couldn't freely express his thoughts, only able to shout and howl randomly in such a harsh environment.
The shadow felt a bit helpless; was this some cruel joke, when would this ever end, as long as he kept running, the flames wouldn't stop, and if any more messes arose it would be hard to deal with.
"So frustrating!" the figure mumbled while running, as his emotions seemed to have reached a breaking point, nearly ready to explode.
Notably, Igor's adaptation skill was strong; after shouting for a little while, he could adapt to breathing. Now he didn't feel breathless, his mind started stirring, prepared to properly ask this person.
Igor wanted to know who this person was, wanted to know where they were, already prepared to ask.
He adapted to the environment here, though still frantic, already less panicked.
"Are you Sol!" Igor finally managed to speak while running, no longer needing to shout like a ghostly wail.
"Whoa, you're something else." Clearly the shadow was amazed by Igor's adaptive ability; knowing that when he first arrived here, aside from running, he couldn't do anything else, couldn't even think, thankful for not being burned, yet this youth, entering not long ago, reached a new speed faster than him after all his runs…
"Really, you're Sol?" Igor thought he guessed right, dodged a flying stone, and asked.
"No, I'm not!" The shadow replied very firmly, then jumped into the air avoiding a flaring ember.
"Then, who are you!" Igor was stunned, realizing he guessed wrong, nearly getting singed by flames.
"I'm Nonoa!" The shadow quickly dodging stones, continued speaking.
At this moment, the flames chasing them merged into one, for unknowingly, the two had run together already.
"It's better, if we run separately!" Nonoa suggested.
"Where is this?"
"Don't ask now, these flames are too damn much!" Nonoa said.
"Then, what should we do!" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"How should I know!"
Igor had high expectations for Nonoa, but now Nonoa's reply dashed this hope…
"Running like this, isn't a solution!" Igor said, apparently not completely giving up.
"Indeed, damn frustrating!" Nonoa's veins bulged!
Afterwards, Igor saw an unbelievable scene…
Nonoa suddenly stopped, then slowly drew out a long, slender sword muttering too frustrating, facing the aggressively coming flames swung the sword.
The sword stroke was like a lightning bolt, fast beyond clarity.
Crack—
A piercing sound, the aggressive flames instantly became sparks, gently descending around Nonoa.
The spectacle was truly magnificent!
Igor was stunned, jaw dropped.
This, severed the flames!
Amazing truly amazing!
Yet Igor couldn't afford to marvel, needing to run again because Nonoa merely severed the flame chasing him; the one behind Igor rolled back chasing him again.
"Damn, always picking on the honest ones huh!" Igor muttered, hurriedly sprinting away…
"Wish you luck!" Nonoa sheathed his sword, sarcastically said.
"You, freaking, can't…" Before Igor finished saying, a big stone flew over, forced to shut up and jumped aside to continue running.
So unlucky!
