The residual smoke over God Valley was blown completely away by the tremor's shockwave, revealing a landscape of shattered ruins and crumbled walls. A sharp, pungent stench of blood hung heavy in the air. Deep within a massive crater, Whitebeard Newgate lay utterly motionless. The future Emperor of the Sea had fallen into a deep shock without uttering a single groan.

Standing a short distance away, Roger held his Supreme Grade Sword, Ace, at his side. He looked down at Newgate in the pit, and then over at Garp's relaxed face. Roger's expression looked as if he had just swallowed a whole box of live flies. He had fought Newgate so many times, and every single clash was an earth-shattering ordeal that dragged on for three days and three nights. But this old dog, Garp? Two punches. Just two punches. And he had used Newgate's own Devil Fruit ability to do it. How was anyone supposed to fight that?

Roger scratched his straw hat and let out a long, heavy sigh. "Garp, be honest with me. Did you sell your soul to some passing demon?"

Garp stretched his mouth into a wide grin, flashing two rows of gleaming white teeth. "Cut the crap, Roger. My soul belongs to justice. I did, however, bring back a few local souvenirs today."

He rolled his wrists as he spoke, the popping of his joints sounding exceptionally harsh across the dead-silent battlefield. He didn't even glance up at Golden Lion Shiki floating in the sky, nor did he pay any attention to Big Mom shivering on the ground. Garp just took massive strides straight toward Roger. He had spent two hundred million Beri today, and it certainly wasn't just to bully a few of Rocks's officers. His greatest obsession was the straw-hat-wearing bastard standing right in front of him. For years, Garp had dreamed of returning to this exact moment so he could ruthlessly rub Roger's face into the mud of God Valley—and smother that whole 'Pirate King' title right in the cradle.

"Draw your sword, Roger. I'm going to beat you so badly today that even Rayleigh won't recognize you."

Roger's mouth twitched. This old dog had definitely taken the wrong medicine today. But his pride as a pirate would never allow him to back down. Roger tightened his grip on Ace, letting his Conqueror's Haki coil fiercely around the blade.

Just then, a gruff, furious roar exploded from the other side of the ruins. "You Marine lapdog! Don't get too arrogant!"

A tall, heavily muscled young man charged out from the rubble, wielding a massive kanabo. It was the Rocks Pirates' apprentice—the future Kaido of the Beasts. Though he hadn't yet consumed the Mythical Zoan Azure Dragon fruit, his innate, monstrous physique was already on full display. Two thick horns jutted from his head, and his muscles were as hard as bedrock.

Kaido stared at the fallen Whitebeard, his eyes burning with fanaticism. "Big bro Newgate actually got defeated! This is the perfect chance for me to make a name for myself! If I take out this Marine, Captain Rocks will definitely reward me!"

Swinging his kanabo and kicking up a gale, the fearless young calf charged blindly at Garp's back, completely unaware that he was throwing himself at a max-level account loaded with cheats.

Floating in midair, Golden Lion Shiki's eyes lit up at the sight. He had been preparing to grease his soles and slip away, but Kaido's charge gave him a new glimmer of hope. Biting down on his cigar, Shiki's mind raced. Garp's punch just now was undeniably terrifying, but an attack with that much destructive power had to have drained a massive amount of stamina. Right now, Garp's back was turned, and his entire focus was on Roger. If he used Kaido as a meat shield in the front, ambushed him from the sky, and dragged Charlotte Linlin into the fray, three against one weren't terrible odds. If they could kill the Marine Hero Garp right here, the name of the Golden Lion would echo across the entire sea.

Thinking this through, Shiki shouted down to the ground. "Linlin! Stop sitting in the dirt playing dead! That bastard just used an insanely powerful ability; he's definitely running on fumes! Let's team up and tear him to pieces!"

Big Mom shuddered where she sat. She had wanted to pretend she hadn't heard him, but Kaido's howling charge was far too loud. Furthermore, Captain Rocks was watching from the center of the island. The penalty for deserting in battle would be worse than death. Gritting her teeth, Linlin scrambled to her feet and grabbed her sword, Napoleon. Above her, the thundercloud Zeus crackled with black lightning, while the sun Prometheus erupted in searing flames.

"You're right, Shiki!" Her sharp, eerie cackle pierced the battlefield as her obese body moved with shocking speed. "I'm going to rip out this Marine's soul and turn it into the most delicious homie!"

One from the left, one from the right, and the Golden Lion from above. Three future Emperor-class monsters formed a perfect encirclement, their sights locked dead on Garp's exposed back.

Roger, standing right in front of Garp, saw the whole thing unfold perfectly. He offered a good-natured warning. "Hey, Garp. Those three behind you are aiming for your life, you know."

Garp didn't even turn his head. He casually stuck his pinky into his ear, lazily dug around, and flicked the earwax away. "Who cares about them? They're just a bunch of unweaned brats. My eyes are only on you right now."

Garp pointed straight at Roger's nose, his tone dripping with provocation. "Come on, Roger. Let me see if you've grown at all."

Roger was completely baffled. Grown at all? He was only in his twenties! This old dog's brain was truly broken.

Hearing this blatant dismissal, Shiki nearly bit his cigar in half. "You dare ignore me?! Lion's Threat: Imperial Earth Bind!"

He waved his hands violently. The rubble and dirt on the ground surged to life, forming several massive rock lion heads that roared as they lunged at Garp.

At the same time, Kaido's kanabo, dripping with pitch-black Armament Haki, came crashing down toward Garp's head. "Thunder Bagua!" Even without his Devil Fruit, the prototype of this technique already packed devastating destructive power.

From the flank, Big Mom's Napoleon sword swept inward, carrying the combined wrath of thunder and fire. "Emperor Sword: Destructive Blade!"

Three apocalyptic attacks descended simultaneously, moments away from swallowing Garp whole. But in the nick of time, a blinding beam of golden light violently thrust itself into the fray, shining brighter than the sun above. Accompanied by a heavy, muffled snort, a towering figure radiating golden luminescence stepped securely behind Garp.

It was Sengoku. A young Sengoku, and he was currently in a very, very foul mood.

He and Garp had each coughed up one hundred million Beri to buy this special dungeon experience. Yet from the moment they landed, that old bastard Garp had stolen all the thunder. One punch sent Whitebeard flying. One strike shattered a tremor wave. And now, the remaining three main forces of the Rocks Pirates were all swarming Garp. Did he spend a hundred million Beri just to come to God Valley and watch Garp show off?

It was far too frustrating. Unable to hold back any longer, Sengoku directly activated his Buddha form and forcefully intervened in the battlefield. As he thrust his giant golden palms forward, a visible ring of concussive force violently exploded outward.
