Chapter 358: Zephyr: Send Me To The Most Dangerous Place

Zoro felt a headache coming on as he turned to Johnny and Yosaku behind him and said, "Go take down the pirate flag first."

With the two islands already coming into view, they did not hesitate and immediately moved to carry out the order. Their actions quickly drew the attention of everyone on board, leaving them confused about why the flag had to be removed.

Luffy lowered the newspaper, the shock still clear on his face, and reached out toward the two climbing the mast. "Wait..."

Bang!

Zoro kicked him away without hesitation, veins popping slightly on his forehead. "Stay put!"

Luffy slammed into the wall of the cabin, then dropped down and glared at him with wide eyes. "What are you doing!"

Zoro’s brow twitched as he snapped, "I’m asking you... do you even understand what the situation at sea is like? Trying to die isn’t done like this."

He then turned and looked toward the two islands in the distance. "See those islands over there?"

One was Loguetown, the place where the Pirate King, Gol. D. Roger was born, and the other island beside it was several times larger.

Nami and Carina exchanged a glance, both puzzled. "What about them?"

Zoro shook his head. "I don’t care what kind of grudge you have against the Marines, but first, you need to understand your enemy."

He gestured toward the larger island. "That island, the one several times bigger than the one next to it... it’s a Marine base. If you sail straight toward it with a pirate flag flying, you’re asking to die."

He paused briefly before continuing, "And do you even know where that island came from?"

Turning, he scanned everyone on the ship. They all looked blank, with only Carina and Sanji seeming to have a vague idea.

Sanji leaned against the railing, took a drag from his cigarette, and exhaled a stream of smoke as he looked at the island. "Originally, there wasn’t any island next to Loguetown. I heard that one was formed during a battle."

His tone carried a hint of doubt. It sounded more like a myth than something real.

Carina gave a slight nod. "I remember something like that too."

Unfortunately, her memory was faint. She had been young at the time and had never really traveled this far before. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Zoro nodded in agreement. "That’s right. It was formed from a battle."

He stared at the massive island, a trace of awe flashing in his eyes. "Thirteen years ago, the legendary pirate Golden Lion, Shiki, who stood on equal footing with the Pirate King, Roger, used his Devil Fruit ability to lift several islands and brought them all the way from the New World, intending to destroy the East Blue.

"He was stopped by the current Fleet Admiral of the Marines, Sakazuki, who was an Admiral at the time. They fought near Loguetown, and Golden Lion was killed there."

He pointed at the enormous landmass. "That island is what remained after his death. Without his power, the islands he lifted fell and merged together."

As the ship drew closer, everyone could clearly see just how massive that island was compared to Loguetown beside it, along with the terrifying presence it gave off.

Looking at the stunned group, Zoro spoke in a low voice. "No matter what kind of grudge you have against the Marines... You need to understand what kind of power you’re standing against."

His gaze swept across them one by one. "You all... are you really prepared for that?"

If they were not ready, then they might as well give up now. Charging to their deaths like idiots was not the same as choosing to fight and die with purpose.

No one spoke. The island felt like an insurmountable barrier. Could something like this really be achieved by human hands?

At that moment, Luffy suddenly walked to the bow and pressed down on his straw hat. He looked up at the towering island, and for the first time, there was an unshakable determination in his eyes.

"I..."

On the other side, the Revolutionary Army’s offensive slowed down.

Even so, they continued to gradually eat away at the allied nations across the Four Blues. Because of the reduced pace, the royal families of those nations finally had time to react.

The Revolutionary Army had taken the blame, and after the World Government had already seized nearly half of the wealth from those kingdoms, the remaining harvesting plan completely fell apart.

As for the few royal families left, they no longer mattered in the eyes of the World Government...

In the South Blue, at the Revolutionary Army Headquarters.

Sabo had finally returned after a long absence, greeting everyone along the way just like before.

Inside the operations room, he smiled as he looked at Dragon.

"Supreme Commander."

The research and development tasks had already been completed, and now ships and weapons were being produced day and night.

Dragon smiled faintly. "Mm."

Sabo casually pulled out a chair and sat down. "Any new missions? I’ve been idle for two months. I’m getting rusty."

Dragon handed over a stack of reports. "You can rest for a bit first."

The reports detailed the recent situation in Alabasta and Crocodile’s growing restlessness.

Sabo skimmed through them quickly, his expression turning serious. "That guy is about to make a move."

Dragon nodded. "That’s right, but there’s still some time. Go meet up with Robin. You two decide how to handle the situation in Alabasta. Just make sure she stays safe. No accidents."

A slight smile appeared on Sabo’s face. "Don’t worry. Leave it to me."

Holding the reports, he waved his hand and walked out, unable to stay idle for even a moment.

In the New World, at New Marineford, ships that had traveled all the way from the old Marineford slowly docked at the heavily guarded port.

Inside the Fleet Admiral’s office.

"Hahahahaha! Sakazuki!!! Our mission is complete."

Bang!

The office door was pushed open as Morris walked in with a loud laugh, Zephyr following beside him with a smile.

Sakazuki looked up from his desk. "Oh? That fast?"

Morris stepped forward and handed over a booklet. "Hahaha. Of course. Don’t underestimate the two of us."

Sakazuki shook his head with a faint smile, took the booklet, and flipped through it.

Meanwhile, the other two walked over to the sand table. With his continuous advances, they could already see his goal from the current layout.

Zephyr’s expression turned serious as he stared at it. "Total annihilation..."

Just thinking about that scene made the long-silent blood in his veins stir again.

One read the booklet while the others studied the battlefield, and the office fell into silence.

After a moment, Sakazuki closed the booklet and glanced over. "It’s very detailed. In that case... I have no reason to stop you two. Will you act together, or separately?"

Morris was about to speak, but Zephyr spoke first.

"Send me to the most dangerous place."

Sakazuki paused and looked at him.
