Only My Weapons Level UP
Chapter 110: War Cry
At that moment, Terry’s presence seemed to command the battlefield. The trolls hesitated, unsure of how to respond to this lone warrior who had invaded their territory and sent their comrades fleeing in terror. But soon, the moment of pause gave way to a primal roar of rage as the trolls charged at him, their eyes fixed on their adversary with fury in their hearts.
"It is time to take matters into my own hands... literally," Terry said.
With a fierce determination, Terry’s eyes flashed with intensity as he kicked the frozen ground beneath him, propelling himself forward at an astonishing speed. His movement became a blur as he dashed toward the enemies with a velocity that defied comprehension.
Some of the enemies attempted to retaliate by hurling spears in his direction. However, their efforts were in vain. With lightning-fast reflexes, Terry deflected the spears with punches that seemed to blur into the air.
His fists moved like a blur of fire and ice, striking the incoming spears with pinpoint accuracy. The force of his punches shattered the wooden shafts, sending splinters flying in all directions. The trolls watched in shock as their weapons disintegrated before their very eyes.
Terry moved like a blur of lightning among the trolls. With each devastating punch, he targeted their heads and hearts simultaneously, obliterating them in a single strike. The ground beneath him shook with the force of his blows, and the air was filled with the sickening sound of bones breaking and flesh tearing.
Terry’s precision was unmatched, and his punches were like a symphony of destruction, each one finding its mark with deadly accuracy. In the midst of the chaos, the trolls could do nothing to defend themselves. They were like helpless dolls in the hands of a vengeful god, their bodies reduced to nothingness by Terry’s relentless assault.
Terry continued his relentless charge through the enemy camp. The trolls threw spears at him in a desperate attempt to stop his advance, but he paid them no mind. The projectiles clanged against his sturdy armor, leaving marks and dents, but he remained undeterred.
"Twenty points of decreased durability... I can take this much for now," Terry thought.
As Terry approached the portal, he suddenly found himself surrounded by a wall of trolls, blocking his path forward. The creatures snarled and roared, their menacing gazes fixed on him. It seemed they were determined to prevent him from reaching the portal.
However, before the trolls could make their move, a series of thunderbolts crackled through the air, striking the ground around them. The trolls’ bodies convulsed and twitched as the electricity coursed through their forms, temporarily paralyzing them.
Taking advantage of the opening, Terry leaped into action. With a fierce battle cry, he unleashed a flurry of devastating blows upon the immobilized trolls. His Fire Swords ignited in a blaze of fiery fury, and he sliced through their bodies with deadly precision.
One by one, the trolls fell, their bodies scorched and lifeless. The ground around Terry became littered with the fallen creatures, and the once formidable blockade was now nothing more than a memory.
"She is using too much mana covering for me... I guess I still don’t look like I can take all of those guys by myself here," Terry thought.
Terry felt like sighing, but he didn’t have time for that, so he continued to attack. On the corner of his vision on his left side, he could see some golems being split apart and smashed by earth blocks; the other guild masters had covered a lot of ground already, so soon, all of them would reach the portal and be able to control the number of monsters coming to Earth.
In the end, Terry’s decision to strike swiftly and without hesitation proved to be a wise one. By not giving the trolls a chance to fully utilize their defenses and go all out from the beginning, the group was able to catch them off guard and prevent them from mounting a strong counterattack.
The element of surprise worked in their favor, as the trolls were left scrambling to respond to the sudden onslaught. Their attempts to coordinate a defense were disrupted by the relentless and coordinated attacks of Terry, Vanessa, and the rest of the guild members.
However, when Terry was able to see the portal, he realized that no enemies were coming from it anymore... he wondered if the overlord was counting his losses after such a massacre... or if they were waiting for Terry and the others to cross the portal?
Either way, Terry could tell that the number of enemies had decreased tremendously... only a small fraction of them was left behind.
As the battle reached its peak and the tide turned in their favor, the guild masters couldn’t contain their excitement and adrenaline any longer. Shouts and cheers erupted from their lips as they unleashed their pent-up energy, letting the thrill of victory surge through their veins.
Each victory against the trolls fueled their determination, and they fought with even more fervor, their battle cries echoing through the camp. Their shouts were a mix of triumph, relief, and adrenaline-fueled euphoria, a testament to the intense emotions running high in the aftermath of the fierce combat.
The adrenaline coursing through their bodies made every swing of their weapons feel powerful, every spell they cast more potent. Their actions were no longer just strategic moves; they were fueled by pure instinct and the desire to triumph over their enemies.
"I guess they must have been getting stressed later...huh?" Terry muttered.
Terry could feel a subtle shift in the atmosphere as a sudden gust of wind swept through the area. The air that was once charged with adrenaline and victory now carried a chill that penetrated his armor. It seemed as if nature itself was responding to the intensity of the battle, settling into a somber stillness. Things were about to change once again, and it didn’t seem to be in a good way.
