Only My Weapons Level UP
Chapter 195: Changes
The snow and all the ice worked to camouflage his presence as well... so Terry could deal with a bit of cold the next day. Besides, he gained a lot from that and he could gain a lot more even further by killing those things.

Terry returned home a bit faster than before and felt quite accomplished. At the same time, he realized that he could only return to that dungeon two days later since Rebecca and Vanessa had to clear dungeons as well in order to improve their reputation.
"Should I put that on hold or should I go clear the dungeons myself?" Terry thought.
Terry faced a complex dilemma as he considered his options. While he possessed the strength and strategy to clear the dungeons, he was acutely aware that doing so could attract the attention of the overlords. The frequency of portals opening between Earth and the overlords’ realm had increased, indicating that they were closely monitoring his actions and the newfound power he wielded.
The heightened appearance of these portals served as a stark warning – the overlords’ gaze was fixed on Earth, and Terry’s actions hadn’t gone unnoticed. While he had the means to face the dungeons head-on and eliminate their threats, he couldn’t ignore the potential consequences of drawing the overlords’ attention even more.
In the end, after careful consideration, Terry decided to take a well-deserved day off from the relentless battles. Amidst the turmoil and the ever-present threat of the overlords, he recognized the importance of recuperation and strategic planning. He harnessed the day to create additional unknown material using his own blood, adding to his arsenal while keeping a watchful eye on the escalating situation.
Meanwhile, he advised Clark to take a few days of rest as well. Clark, however, seemed to have a mind of his own, already immersed in work on the wings of the previous battle suit. Terry couldn’t help but admire his friend’s dedication and enthusiasm. The prospect of flight using the power suit was on the horizon, a breakthrough that promised a new dimension to their capabilities.
"You seem to be in a good mood, aren’t you going to tell us to stay put while you enhance the new weapon?" Rebecca asked.
"Do I look that power hungry?" Terry asked. "I will alternate between hunting days and crafting days in order to make your versions of the unknown weapon."
"Unknown weapon... it fits the weird appearance of the weapon," Rebecca said. "So, I guess considering those words, you consider Vanessa a true ally, don’t you?"
"Where is she ?" Terry asked.
"Don’t change the subject... it looks like some weird things are happening in the dungeons of the city, so she went to check it," Rebecca said.
The news of the dungeons causing issues within the city appeared suspicious to Terry. After all, these dungeons had remained stable for years, so why would they suddenly become problematic? The sudden change in their behavior raised red flags in Terry’s mind. It was as if some hidden force had been triggered, disrupting the equilibrium that had been established.
Although it was late, Terry’s instinct to investigate kicked in. The uncertainty surrounding these developments prompted him to take action. He recognized the potential danger that the unstable dungeons posed to the city and its inhabitants. It was a situation that couldn’t be ignored, even under the cover of night.
At the same time, he felt a sense of responsibility towards his companions. Terry urged Rebecca to return home, knowing that she had been dedicating substantial time away from her siblings due to their shared challenges.
"I decided to split the work in order to make sure the city would always be guarded... but it looks like that wasn’t enough," Terry thought.
As Terry arrived at the location where Vanessa’s guild was stationed, he was met with an unexpected sight. Despite the lateness of the hour, the area was bustling with activity. Members of Vanessa’s guild were present, gathered around as if something of great importance was transpiring. The unusual gathering raised Terry’s suspicions – what could be prompting this late-night assembly?
With a heightened sense of alertness, Terry’s imagination began to churn. He wondered if perhaps Vanessa had ventured into one of the newly unstable dungeons, prompting her guild to mobilize. A sense of concern crept into his thoughts, as he mulled over the possible scenarios that might have brought them together at this hour.
However, his apprehension was soon replaced with relief. Among the gathering, Terry’s eyes found Vanessa standing near the portal. The sight of her familiar form reassured him, dispelling the worries that had taken root in his mind.
"Were you worried that I would have jumped in without telling you guys?" Vanessa asked.
"The thought crossed my mind," Terry replied. "Anyway, are you waiting for someone?"
"One group should have returned at noon didn’t return and the same thing happened in the dungeon in the north," Vanessa replied. "It looks like leaving these portals open to get materials might have caused some problems."
The realization settled in that occasional troubles with the portals couldn’t be entirely avoided. In their world, where the balance between dimensions and realms was delicate, such risks were an inherent part of their existence. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but one that everyone had come to accept.
The portals that connected their world to others brought with them both opportunities and challenges. While they provided access to valuable resources, they also introduced the potential for disruptions, disturbances, and even dangerous incursions. The delicate equilibrium they maintained was susceptible to fluctuations, and no matter how careful their actions, the occasional bout of trouble was unavoidable.
