Only My Weapons Level UP
Chapter 88: Fire Swords
This involved carefully rationing and utilizing the existing supplies, finding new ways to recycle and repurpose materials, and seeking out alternative sources of similar resources within their own realm.
"By the way, we found this on the side of the body of the dragon; we didn’t try to use it," Rebecca said and then passed a red skill book to Terry.

"I guess it isn’t half bad..." Terry nodded to himself in satisfaction.
"What can it do?" Rebecca asked. "It is rare to see you complimenting anything."
"I will leave it to your imagination," Terry replied. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"You are not fun... anyway, we thought that you had died. We could even see your muscles and bones," Rebecca said while feeling quite uncomfortable recalling the scene.

"The mana stored in the armor saved me by the skin of my teeth, apparently," Terry said after he checked his armor condition. "This will serve as a good lesson."
As Terry reflected on his recent battle and the harrowing experience of entering the dragon’s mouth, he couldn’t help but feel a mix of awe and apprehension. The intensity of the encounter had left a lasting impression on him, and he couldn’t shake the lingering sense of danger that accompanied such audacious feats.
Deep within his thoughts, Terry realized the need to reassess his approach to combat and strategize more meticulously for future encounters. While his daring actions had yielded remarkable results, he acknowledged that relying solely on fearless bravado might not always be the wisest course of action.
He understood that he needed to cover his bases more thoroughly, considering every aspect of a battle before diving headlong into the fray. Terry recognized the value of preparation, strategic planning, and understanding his opponents’ weaknesses. He resolved to expand his knowledge of different creatures, their behaviors, and their unique strengths and vulnerabilities.
"Also, the other guild masters said that they are fine if their guild becomes part of yours. As long as they can lead their own people, they don’t mind following your orders," Rebecca said. "Vanessa said the same thing."
"Why are you ruling her out?" Terry asked while frowning. "Anyway, I have no intention of becoming their babysitter. Besides, it is very concerning that they decided to do that now."
"They wanted to make you the head figure for the hunters of the country, and after defeating a fire dragon, few people will object to that," Rebecca added.
"They can stick their hidden agenda up their asses," Terry said.
"It is almost amazing the fact that you can be this stubborn," Rebecca facepalmed. "Naturally, I won’t deny that they won’t get anything from this, but our guild and you will benefit a lot as well. You should have realized by now that despite your power and trait, we are lacking in many aspects. If we worked with Vanessa and her guild, your armor would have been completed by now, and you wouldn’t have faced that much."
Terry understood the potential benefits of having other guilds join his cause. The idea of combining forces with skilled fighters, sharing resources, and expanding their collective influence held undeniable merits. It could bring together a diverse array of talents and expertise, strengthening their overall capabilities in the battle against the otherworldly creatures.
However, deep down, Terry couldn’t shake the feeling that relying solely on existing guilds might limit their scope and potential. He believed that there was untapped potential in ordinary people who had not yet discovered their own strengths or joined any established guild. In his eyes, recruiting from the general population had its own advantages.
Terry recognized that not everyone possessed extraordinary abilities or had undergone extensive training. But he firmly believed that within the vast pool of ordinary individuals, hidden talents were waiting to be awakened. By casting a wider net and embracing those who might not fit the mold of traditional guild members, Terry saw the potential to unlock a wealth of diverse skills and perspectives.
Moreover, Terry understood that involving ordinary people in their cause could foster a sense of unity and empowerment among the general populace. By giving everyday individuals an opportunity to contribute, he aimed to inspire a greater sense of agency and resilience within society as a whole. He believed that if they could tap into the latent potential of the masses, their combined efforts could yield remarkable results.
In any case, Terry wasn’t planning to change his modus operandi until something big forced him to do so. While things happened in a difficult way, things still worked out the way, and there was no point in changing the players of a team that was already winning.
"Putting that aside, you guys could have at least started taking the scales of the monster already," Terry said.
"Well, hum... we have been busy looking after you, so we didn’t have the chance to start working," Rebecca said while her eyes moved nervously.
Terry wanted to sigh... it seemed that Louis convinced Rebecca as well to make good use of the dragon for promoting purposes. That made Terry wonder what he would gain from that... people like Louis never acted without benefitting something from it.
