Even Quinn didn’t see what the other champions did, because he only observed two of them! Punch and Pride. As for the others? He didn’t even know that some had already lost limbs after the countless mirages that appeared!

This was caused by Eclipse! The bat-like creature with its disgusting figure had already fallen because it lost it’s wings!

Then... everything turned gold after the emergence of the pillars! Even Lyra was stunned, she just couldn’t explain what was happening. She was just a tier 3, after all...

Quinn couldn’t see shit now... The quality of the orb was so shitty that only the strong could view it...

Well, it wasn’t made for them. Even Lyra was only permitted to watch the lower-tiered fights, not to mention him, a mere slave.

"Fufu... I can help you with that." Alice snapped her fingers, and something changed. He could now see what was happening inside as the pillars turned less blinding...

But... as Quinn observed, everything was razed. The sand was already gone, replaced by molten hot lava that kept bubbling, while the champions stood unmoving on their own ground...

The shocking thing was that... the ground they were standing on didn’t turn into molten lava. It remained untouched, as if they were protected.

Quinn nodded his head, looking at the champions who were struggling to hold the pillars above them. They just refused to budge. They were slowly pushing downward, putting too much strain on the champions...

Alice spoke again...

"Pride... is a being with a monstrous innate ability. The more prideful it gets, the stronger it becomes... It is said that it entered this prison willingly just to enhance its innate ability further, but no one really knows."

"Hell... that really is another level of insanity, but isn’t that innate ability too dangerous? Once it loses, its pride will slowly wane..."

"Fufu... that’s the thing. As far as I know, Pride only uses one skill to decimate its enemies, and that’s what you are seeing now. We don’t know its limit, so we can’t really say anything about it..."

The situation inside the Colosseum was really turning dire for every champion. They couldn’t move an inch; the pressure exerted by the pillars was truly crushing. Even the bat-like beast was now kneeling, forcing its body to stay up, yet it was futile.

The turtle-like creature’s body was slowly being pushed downward... the surrounding area started cracking as if it couldn’t hold on any longer...

For others, it was much worse... some had already plummeted to the ground, coughing up blood...

The only one who maintained a relaxed posture was the ronin. Its body was still standing strong without buckling...

The ronin mumbled... so quietly that only he could hear what he said...

"Solar Eclipse..."

As if the world had turned black... the pillar above its head turned pitch black. The golden sheen it exerted was slowly being devoured by black matter...

"Disperse."

The already black pillar was gone... it just disappeared, just like that.

Then...

"Bloom."

Countless weapons made out of black matter appeared! Floating and hovering, and just like rain, they started falling!

The whole Colosseum turned black and gold! The pillars from the other champions stood strong, but now, a rain of weapons started falling!

No one was spared. Even those who were trapped and squashed were suffering from the intense tide!

"THIS IS IT!! THE SOLAR ECLIPSE!!" The host spoke with fervor! They didn’t expect that someone could hold back the Pillar!

Chants echoed throughout the whole Colosseum, cheering as if witnessing a god! All of them truly didn’t expect something like that to happen!...

The rain lasted for minutes, and everything turned black... the whole area was entirely surrounded by black matter!

The rain stopped when Eclipse sheathed its katana back into its scabbard... Its figure stood amidst the stomach-churning scenery. Everything wasothing remained, and a gaping hole that reached beyond could be seen. Only the remaining platforms of the champions were left visible.

Most of the champions were gone, and even the lucky ones suffered greatly... with limbs missing and gaping holes from every possible angle. Their condition could only be called a miracle...

Yet... as everything settled, they could see the unblemished figure of Pride... standing strong and mighty with its head raised high...

And then...

ROARRR!!!!

It roared again, not caring about what had happened.

For a brief moment, nothing happened... but everyone felt like they were burning. The heat grew so intense that Eclipse’s skin started smoking.

And as he looked up... a gigantic ball of burning fire was falling!??

’Hell!! That’s a fucking falling sun!’ Quinn yelled in his thoughts with horror. That thing falling was an enormous sun!

The size of the sun grew bigger and bigger as it drew closer, until it reached 500 meters in diameter!!

The beings stopped breathing... even the host stopped... he even started cursing!

He was fucking inside the area within the Colosseum! He was sure to blow up if he remained!

The champions felt utter hopelessness! How could they escape if the whole Colosseum spanned several kilometers?! The falling sun was taking up almost half of it!!!

Even the stoic Eclipse felt like running away! That thing could not be escaped, no matter what! Yet... it was already inevitable...

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!

Everything turned white... there was nothing to see!

The connection between the orb and the Colosseum was cut... preventing them from knowing what had happened!

"Holy... is that thing even considered tier 5?" He stood up, feeling utter dread coursing through his body... cold sweat ran down his spine.

Quinn truly realized how weak he was... Compared to that monster, he was just dust, a single speck of dust among a countless bunch... and that was reality.
