The traces left by previous battles on the arena have already been cleaned up. After the Immortal Palace host announced the official start of the first match, the three Blood Fiend contestants slowly walked out from their observation platform and stepped onto the arena.

When all three Blood Fiend contestants had ascended the stage and all contestants were present, Pei Yan was surprised to find that not only the arena but also the observation area where he was located had undergone a drastic change. The round building before his eyes disappeared with a change of light and shadow, while the arena in the center kept extending and expanding until it reached about the size of three or four stadiums. It only started to slow down then, with their position located on the periphery of this vast open space.

Pei Yan stood up and took a few steps forward before being blocked by an invisible wall of air. He tentatively knocked on the incredibly hard air wall, which made a crisp knocking sound. He then sat back on his chair and looked around, noticing that most of the other observation platforms were also situated around the arena. It seemed to be for confidentiality, as Pei Yan could only see vague shadows inside these platforms, and no matter how much he tried to zoom in, he couldn't make out the true appearance of these shadows.

"There must be some sort of restriction." Pei Yan leaned back in his chair, crossed his legs, and remarked, "We can't see them clearly, and they probably can't see us either, which is quite advanced. Is it only us who have this, or do all the spectators get this treatment?"

"Of course, it's only us," Gu Shenghui replied, gesturing towards the light screen above the arena. "Look, most of the spectators in the original competition venue are still watching the broadcast on the screens."

While the two were talking, the person at the center of the arena began the match. The Blood Fiend contestant originally meant to enter first, Di Xin, was just about to step forward when Saraf leapt ahead and stopped him, shouting, "Step back! For the first match, I want to choose him for a life-or-death battle."

Di Xin glanced in the direction Saraf was pointing, then wore a playful smile and taunted, "Are you sure?"

"I'm sure! What's the matter, don't dare accept?" Saraf raised his head, provocatively staring at Nero.

"Oh, if you want to die, I have no objection." Di Xin replied, stepping back and giving way as he looked at his companion with a smile, "Go ahead, he doesn't think I'm worth fighting."

For those present at the arena, Saraf's choice was not surprising. Those who had seen the last team match had already anticipated that he might make such a decision. However, two sighs came from the Spirit Monster Plane's viewing platform and the Investigation Hall's platform.

The sigh from the Investigation Hall came from Pei Yan. Upon seeing his reaction, Jiang Feiyang, who was munching snacks like he was watching a movie, patted him on the shoulder and asked, "Why, don't you think much of this kid? I think he has quite a presence!"

"What's the use of presence!" Pei Yan leaned back in his chair, randomly grabbed a handful of potato chips from the other's bag, and muttered while chewing, "I don't know about the strength of the other two Blood Fiend members, but I've fought once with that guy called Nero in the Hell Plane. Although it was brief, I managed to gauge him a bit. His power inside is terrifying, and that was even without him absorbing a Divine Artifact. Now, how strong he is, I can't say for sure. When he counterattacked Shitang Longsi earlier, I hoped he would reveal a bit so I could glimpse his strength, but unfortunately, he stayed composed, saw through my intentions, and didn't take the bait. If Saraf had picked either of the other two, he might have been able to win a match for the Spirit Monster Plane, but picking him makes it hard to win!"

"For you to use the word 'terrifying', Saraf must really be in for trouble! Can you beat him?" said Zhao Yuanhu, who was seated beside him, with concern.

"Sure victory!"

On the arena, Nero couldn't hear Pei Yan's declaration of sure victory. At this moment, he shared the same confidence of victory against his opponent. After stepping out from his team to replace Di Xin in the arena, Nero shook his head and made the same assessment as Pei Yan regarding Saraf.

"You shouldn't have provoked me; that way, this match would have more spectacle and suspense."

"Stop pretending in front of me. Speak! Dare to accept the life-or-death battle?" Saraf spoke, already stepping into the blue circle designated for the combatants.

"Sigh!" Nero sighed, shrugging helplessly as if he was very unwilling, and walked into the blue circle on the Blood Fiend's side. Once he stood in the blue circle, white light emanated from their feet, encapsulating the entire arena. All six individuals, except for the two, were teleported out of the arena.

After the blue circle constraining their movements disappeared, Saraf, who had specially trained for this moment for half a year, transformed into a red flash and charged straight at Nero. In the next moment, Nero, standing in place, seemed to be shot out like a cannonball by the red flash. His body flew backwards for a hundred meters before slamming into the air wall behind him, rebounding with a muffled sound.

Awaiting him on his rebound path was Nero, who had arrived in time, raising both arms with open palms extended. His spread palms resembled two steel forks, each of his ten fingers sharp and iron-like, their tips gleaming coldly, making one shudder.

Nero collided head-on with these steel forks, and with a squelching sound, Saraf's iron hands pierced through his stomach without resistance, like cutting through paper. Then, by forcibly separating and crossing his hands with strength, Nero was torn alive in half.

"My God, he tore him apart by hand!" Wang Wenze exclaimed, wide-mouthed, as he nibbled on Jiang Feiyang's snacks.

"Saraf really hates this guy Nero, going all out from the start. This match is gonna be exciting," Zheng Jia Ru commented, shamelessly rummaging through Jiang Feiyang's bag, whose face turned ashen.

At this point, none of the spectators present, including Saraf himself, thought Nero could be easily dealt with like this. The reality was exactly as everyone speculated. The two halves of the body that were torn apart were quickly reunited as substantial blood silk gushed from the split wounds. Almost within the blink of an eye, the two halves recombined into two individuals. Following a white flash, the two "Neros" were now dressed in a brand-new coat.

"Super healing, bloodline cloning, hahaha! Only a petty trick. You dare show off in front of me." Facing the two foes before him, Saraf showed no panic or fear, only contempt in his eyes. He raised his hands and coldly snorted at them, "I want to see if your next attack can let me hit your critical point again! Life-Severing Hand!"

As soon as Saraf finished speaking, a layer of cyan-green light enveloped his arms, and he charged toward the opponent again, stomping the ground.
