"I say…" The strands of hair plastered to the head by sweat clumped together, and beads of sweat dripped to the ground. After being tormented in this state for ten minutes, Little Vlad finally couldn't hold out any longer and spoke weakly.

Seeing this, Pei Yan nodded to Du Guangyuan, who understood and stepped forward to administer another type of injection. Moments later, Little Vlad's breathing began to stabilize.

Xia Yu snapped her fingers and released most of the restraints around her. Once Little Vlad hit the ground, she collapsed into a puddle of mud, leaning motionlessly in the corner until she regained some strength. Only then did she look at Pei Yan and plead, "Water, give me some water, give me that liquid you have in your hand!"

Without waiting for Pei Yan's instruction, Ye Ruozai handed over two cans of cola, bringing them to her. Little Vlad snatched the cola and opened it like Pei Yan did, tipping it to her mouth. Just taking a sip, she was choked by the strange taste and gas of the cola, but after a few coughs, she ignored it and drank both cans dry like a water buffalo. Seeing she seemed unsatisfied, Ye Ruozai handed her two more cans. After finishing them entirely, she let out a long burp, exhaled a cool breath, and leaned against the corner, exhausted, saying, "Ask away."

"If you'd known, why go through all that suffering? First, tell me what agreement your family reached with K." Pei Yan jumped down from the table, pulled up a chair, sat in front of her, and interrogated.

"If you were captured, you would resist too." Little Vlad said, shifting her aching body to a more comfortable position, and gave an answer before Pei Yan could get angry, "You said I'm the eldest son of the Vlad family and that I can't be entirely unaware of my father's agreement. You're right! I do know, but my knowledge is limited. Actually, once you confirmed my identity and handed me over to the teacher as a disciple, you should have realized I've lost any right to inherit the family. I've become a pawn hidden in the shadows of the family, cough cough cough."

Interrupted by dry coughs, Little Vlad soothed her chest, a hint of loneliness and grievance in her expression, helplessly saying, "My father always favored my brother more, and now he can justifiably pass the family position to him. As for me, who's already been deemed an important pawn of the family, how much family secrets do you think he'll disclose to me?"

"Little Vlad, don't test my patience. I didn't bring all these people here to watch you wail in front of me just to hear your complaints. I want information! Information!" Pei Yan squinted, glaring at Little Vlad menacingly, "If you keep meandering, I won't let you down just because of a few pleas." Speaking, Pei Yan gestured towards the table behind him filled with tubes, grinning sinisterly, "Look at that table brimming with options; I think Mr. Du Guangyuan would be happy to try each one on you."

Following Pei Yan's pointed finger, Little Vlad shuddered and instinctively swallowed a couple of times, then looked at Pei Yan fearfully, "I'm just telling you honestly about my current situation. The information I know really isn't as much as you imagine."

"Then just say what you know and let us judge the rest." Mei Simiao interjected, stepping aside.

"I only know that my father promised my teacher to timely relay information about Xue Sha to him and would strike back at Xue Sha at the appropriate moment. Also, I informed my teacher about a few traitors hidden within the three major councils that Xue Sha had bought off." Little Vlad recalled the recent pain, knocking her head hard against the nearby iron wall, struggling before painfully answering.

"Is that all?" Pei Yan asked suspiciously.

"That's all related to you guys. I also know that my teacher planted some spies and personnel in my family, which my father tacitly agreed to. Correspondingly, I received my teacher's tutelage, and some excellent disciples in my family could learn some forbidden technique magics that aren't widely shared from the mage tower."

"Nothing else?" Mei Simiao pressed on.

Little Vlad shook her head with a bitter smile, "That's all I know. You could kill me, and I still wouldn't be able to say anything more."

"So your family is double agents, huh." Pei Yan leaned back in the chair, crossing her legs teasingly, "A fence-sitter swaying with the wind?"

"In this about-to-begin turbulent age, isn't it right to have some assurance for the survival of the family?" Little Vlad retorted.

"From what I understand, such people rarely end well. Either suspected to death during battles, or accounted for by the victorious side after the fight." Pei Yan said, patting her knee playfully, "But that's got nothing to do with me. Director Mei, do you have any more questions about this?"

"Were those marked traitors in the three major councils dealt with?" Mei Simiao asked, taking a step forward.

"No, I guess the teacher was afraid of alerting them, so he didn't take any action. What other measures might he have taken, I don't know. Although the teacher taught me the supreme secret techniques, he didn't trust me entirely either." Little Vlad said, mocking herself, "Maybe he trusts no one; didn't he keep secrets from even his most favored disciple, Vlad Meir? So besides learning magic, he conducts many transactions behind my back."

"Tell me the names and current positions of those traitors, the more detailed, the better." Mei Simiao said, taking out her phone to record. Pei Yan held up a hand to stop her, pointing to her left eye with a smile, "No need, it's all recorded here. If you need video footage later, I'll pass it to you."

"Good, saves a lot of trouble for me." Mei Simiao smiled upon hearing this and put away her phone. Little Vlad, with no psychological burden on the Xue Sha implanted members in the three major councils, straight out listed them all shortly.

After hearing all this, Mei Simiao nodded and inquired, "What about the people your teacher inserted into your family? Names, backgrounds, the more detailed, the better."

"I really don't know. All those people were arranged by my father. I only know one Captain of the Guard in my family was inserted by the teacher. This I found out when I was secretly reporting my situation in the three major councils to my family, and my brother told me unintentionally." After speaking, Little Vlad detailed the Captain of the Guard's situation.

Afterwards, Mei Simiao thoroughly questioned back and forth on these few issues, confirming multiple times to avoid any oversight, then nodded to Pei Yan, indicating he could continue.

"Talking about you and your teacher, some say the teacher-student bond is like father and son! It's good enough that you haven't stabbed your teacher in the back, oh! No, you've already started stabbing."
