"Shoot more, Nyx! Don’t let even one of them get close!" Oliver shouted.

Nyx fired continuously, unleashing an endless shots as more spiders rushed toward them. With every passing second, his Familiarity continued to rise.

"What is this?! Why can none of my children reach him?!" Arachqueen hissed in frustration as the corpses of her spawn piled up around them.

"Finally!" Oliver smirked. After nearly thirty minutes of fighting, his objective had been achieved.

Arachqueen began to grow furious as all her spawns failed her. She leapt down to the ground, intending to finish Oliver herself.

"Nyx, synchronize!" Oliver jumped down from Nyx. Immediately, Nyx dissolved into particles and entered Oliver’s body.

A green aura began to form around Oliver. From his back, a shell-like wing resembling that of a beetle emerged. His right arm enlarged and transformed into a cannon.

Without taking a moment to examine his transformation, Oliver immediately began charging his cannon while activating Quickstep. Light started gathering at the tip of his right arm.

With the shell-like wings on his back, his hovering speed increased as he moved swiftly to Arachqueen’s side.

"Cataclysm Beam!"

BOOM!!

Arachqueen tried to evade, but her rear leg was caught in the blast and shattered instantly.

"How dare you!" Arachqueen became enraged. She immediately swung her sharp legs and launching a relentless attacks toward Oliver.

With Triple Instinct and Nyx’s wings, Oliver easily evaded every strike, gliding backward through the air. Then, in one swift motion, he dashed forward and stepped on a nearby stone before launched himself above the boss.

"Scatterburst Cannon!"

A dozen bullets rained down and slamming into Arachqueen’s back.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The force drove her crashing into the ground, green blood splattering from her body.

"Grrr! A mere human dares to wound me? Unacceptable!" Suddenly, she opened her mouth and fired hundreds of tiny needles. Each coated with deadly black venom.

Oliver struggled to evade the attacks, as he dashing left and right as the needles sliced through the air.

Swoosh!

One of them grazed his hip. He stumbled and fell to the ground while clutching the wound. And that brief moment was all Arachqueen needed.

Pain surged through his body. Oliver immediately pulled out the last antidote Tamera had prepared and poured it over his hip. He even drank some of it.

But the pain only worsened as dark veins began spreading from the wound.

(Master... the poison... is spreading.)

"I know... but I’ve already used all the antidotes..."

Oliver’s breathing grew heavy as the poison seeped deeper into his bloodstream and reaching his lungs.

"Hehehe! The black venom I created has no antidote. Within one minute, it will spread through your entire body. After that, it will reach your brain and you’ll start convulsing. And then... you’ll be ready to be served to me. Hehehe!"

Oliver looked at his hip, then back at Arachqueen. His mind raced as he was searching desperately for a solution.

(What will... you do... Master?) Nyx asked. His voice filled with worry.

Oliver fell silent for a moment. Then an idea struck him. A faint smile appeared on his face.

"There’s only one thing I can do right now. The venom comes from her body, so she must be immune to it. The only way to nullify this poison... is to tame her within one minute!"

(But... is that... possible?)

"Even if it’s impossible, I’ll make it possible!" Oliver shouted.

Forcing his body to move despite the searing pain, he raised his cannon on his right arm and gripped the Assault Dagger in his left.

Then, he dashed forward.

"Hehehe! Have you already surrendered to your fate and come to me? Don’t worry,I’ll make your death quick."

Arachqueen opened her mouth, revealing rows of sharp teeth and lunged toward Oliver.

Her claws slashed down. Oliver barely managed to evade, but the poison had already slowed him. One claw grazed his shoulder and venom seeped into the wound.

"Hahaha!" Arachqueen laughed maniacally.

As she tried to pull her claw back, suddenly, it wouldn’t move.

She glanced down and saw Oliver had driven his dagger into her limb and pinning it in place.

Oliver looked up at her while grinning. Dark blood trickling from his mouth.

"I don’t plan to die here! Scatterburst Cannon!"

BOOM!!

The blast struck Arachqueen at point-blank range. Her armored shell shattered and fragments scattering as she was blown backward. Half of her claws broke apart.

"My... my body... how dare you do this to me!" Arachqueen struggled to stand.

"I... I’m not done yet..." Oliver staggered closer as his cannon already glowing with gathered energy.

Suddenly, a strange feeling gripped Arachqueen. Something she had never experienced before.

Fear.

The predator now had become the prey.

"No! Stay away from me!" Arachqueen tried to crawl back but half of her body was already torn apart.

Oliver reached Arachqueen and grabbed her remaining leg, preventing her escape. He raised his cannon and aimed it straight at her.

"Nooo!"

BOOM!!

The blast tore a hole through Arachqueen’s body. She collapsed onto the ground and barely breathing.

"I... was defeated... by a mere human...what a shame." she muttered weakly.

"No! You can’t die yet!"

Oliver fell forward as his legs no longer able to support him. He crawled toward her and reached out his hand.

"What... do you want... just finish me..."

"No. Killing you isn’t fun. You said you were bored of eating spiders, right? Come with me, and you’ll have a whole buffet waiting for you." Oliver smiled as his hand finally touched her upper body.

A large magical array immediately formed beneath them.

[Taming Procedure Initated!]

"You want... to tame me?" Arachqueen looked at Oliver.

But Oliver’s eyes were already rolling upward. His body trembled as he began to convulse.

’What an idiot... He’s already on the verge of death, yet he still wants to tame me. If I resist, he’ll fail, and die here. Hehehe...’ Arachqueen thought.

Slowly, she raised her hand and gently touched Oliver’s face, brushing it softly.

’But... he is an interesting boy. I want to see how his life will unfold. And that offer of endless meals... of course, I won’t refuse it.’

[Taming Procedure Succesful!]

The magical array burst apart, leaving only Oliver lying on the ground as Arachqueen had been successfully tamed. The synchronization ended as well and Nyx entered Sleep Mode.

Suddenly, the dungeon began to shake. The Dungeon Collapse had started.

In the next moment, Arachqueen summoned herself out. She gently lifted Oliver into her arms and rushed toward the exit portal.

Outside, she laid him beneath a tree and watched over him in silence.
