Overlord Tamer:I Only Tame Bosses
Chapter 37 Queen, The Broodmother
"Arrghh! What a nice sleep!" Oliver stretched his body as he woke up in the morning.
He walked toward the window and opened it. Morning mist covered the entire town and drifting gently into the house.
"Ahhh... so refreshing." Oliver inhaled deeply.
"You seem to be in a very good mood today, my Oliver."
"Can you stop calling him that? It makes me feel uncomfortable."
"Good morning... Master."
Oliver turned around and saw three boss monsters gathered inside his room. A wide smile immediately appeared on his face.
"Of course I’m happy. Just last month, I was destined to fail at becoming a tamer. And now I already have three monsters, and all of you are incredibly strong!" Oliver said excitedly, unable to hide his joy.
He had never expected his fate to change so drastically. If this continued, sooner or later, he might truly become the strongest in the world.
But then, a thought suddenly crossed his mind.
’If I really become the strongest... then what comes after that?’
He paused for a moment before shaking his head.
’No. I still have my family. I need to make them happy. Yes... that’s another one of my goals.’
He then looked around his room. Right now, all three monsters were inside it, making the space feel extremely cramped.
The one suffering the most was Arachqueen. At nearly three metres tall, she had to lower her body awkwardly just to fit inside.
"If I get another monster, I’ll need to find a bigger place for all of you."
After that, Oliver opened Arachqueen’s details.

Oliver smiled brightly as he looked over Arachqueen’s stats. For someone who usually moved alone, her skill set suited him perfectly. Her skills could make him harder to detect in darkness while also weakening stronger enemies with poison.
Plus, her summoning skills would make Oliver’s life much easier in the future. He could simply let her continuously summon spiders to help clear dungeons.
And most importantly, he could lie to others and claim that his monster was just a normal spider-type creature. That would definitely lower their guard against him.
He then looked toward Arachqueen.
"Alright, from now on, I’ll call you Queen. Are you okay with that?"
"Queen... hmm, it’s not too different from my real name. I’m fine with it."
"Hey, why didn’t you ask whether I liked my name or not previously? But for the others, you ask them. And their names still resemble their originals," Husk complained bitterly. He still hadn’t gotten over his new name.
"You’re special, Husk. That’s why. You’re my very first monster, so of course your name should be unique. Hehehe."
"Hmph! That answer isn’t convincing at all."
’Now I already have a ranged shooter and tank in Nyx, a frontline attacker in Husk, and now an assassin in Queen. My roster is almost complete. The only things I’m missing now are a support and a spellcaster.’ Oliver thought.
He had already discussed with Husk about what kind of composition his team should have. Husk explained that having at least five different roles would be enough, though it still depended on the situation and the type of enemy they faced.
Next, Oliver proceeded to level up his Tamer Level to Level 5. He also raised Husk to Level 5, while Nyx and Queen were both increased to Level 3.
Thanks to clearing the Killing Spree mission series, he now had plenty of Dominion Cores and Tamer Coins.
As for Overlord Eye, he didn’t have enough remaining Dominion Cores to level it up further. Besides, he felt that its current abilities were already more than sufficient for now.
Suddenly, as he scrolled his system, he forget that he actually received an uncommon monster card from the mission reward. He then take a look at it.

The card showed a horned humanoid monster with a single eye, clutching a twisted staff in its hand. It wore a long black robe that extend to the ground.
Just as Oliver was thinking about needing a mage or support-type monster, one had conveniently appeared before him. However, the moment his eyes landed on the creature, an uncomfortable feeling crept up his spine.
Something about this monster felt wrong.
Oliver had spent most of his life on high alert. Growing up in the mafia meant living under the constant threat of ambushes and assassination. Over the years, his instincts had been sharpened to an abnormal degree as he could sense danger far better than ordinary people.
And right now, those instincts were trying to warn him.
[It is time for you to tame a monster from the system. Each of them is extremely powerful and can greatly help you on your journey. Both Ragthorax and Occulbane are the best choices for your current group.]
The system tried to convince Oliver. Of course, he had already been thinking about it. Until now, he had only tamed monsters from outside the system.
He fell silent for a moment, thinking carefully before finally making his decision.
"We will face this monster inside the dungeon."
His expression turned serious.

Robert was currently pacing back and forth inside his office. Evan’s group was still missing. Robert was the one who had ordered them to kill Oliver, yet their whereabouts remained unknown. Before leaving, they had informed him that Oliver was heading out of town, and they moved to eliminate him.
What made things even worse was Arnulf’s reaction. When Robert met him earlier today, the man seemed unusually calm for someone who had supposedly lost his son. Then Robert discovered something even more shocking.
Oliver had actually returned home safely last night.
"Tsk! Where the hell did they go?" Robert muttered as he bit his nails in frustration.
Suddenly, a knock was heard, and one of his servants quickly entered the room.
"My apologies, sir. A noble carriage from the House of Labre is waiting outside."
Robert’s face immediately turned pale.
"What is wrong with my luck today? One problem after another keeps falling on me." Robert massaged his head in irritation before following the servant outside.
