 Damon’s remark brought silence to the entire arena as people looked at the bastard son of a mere Baron with big balls. Their gaze shifted from Damon to Daniel Ross from time to time, leading many to believe something wrong just happened.
 Is this boy just cocky or is he ignorant of the power only the Wright family possesses?
 Either way, an explanation would no longer be needed as Luthor was pissed. His face twisted in rage as a magic circle began forming beneath his feet.
 It was black with a touch of grey in color and on the circle were numerous symbols slowly getting engraved!
 People watched in anticipation as Luthor poured in a considerable amount of mana and concentration into forming this necromancy magic circle, making people wonder what kind of beast he plans to summon!
 Xiu!
 “This fight is over... I win...”

 A cold breeze blew as Damon could be seen standing in front of Luthor with his dagger pressed tightly to the throat of the boy, leaving a shallow wound that made blood trickle down.
 Luthor lost concentration and the magic circle beneath his feet shattered as he fell back on his bottom with a terrified look on his face. If anyone told him something like this would happen, he never would have accepted.
 The entire arena was silent like a graveyard as they gazed at Alex as if he was a beast. How can a kid who has triple elements as a distinguished student, who is claimed to have a strong affinity to all three elements, also be so physically fit like fighters?
 “That was the shadowless flight! I recognize the move! A secret technique limited to the Ross family only!” Someone in the crowd cried out and the others nodded in agreement.
 They soon realized how Damon closed the distance between him and Luthor so quickly that the kid couldn’t even finish casting his spell but even this made them more terrified of this monster of a kid below!
 He actually managed to learn the shadowless flight to this level even though he is meant to be a mage type, not a fighter? It’s no wonder Daniel Ross dared point a blade at Earl Linton in defense of this child! If they had a son like this, they wouldn’t even blink an eye to go against a noble for his sake!
 “The Ross family had such a talented child amongst them... unfortunately he is a bastard son and can’t inherit the family as his own” The old mage said while rubbing his beard. He didn’t seem bothered by the fact Damon used such a method to win.
 “And here I thought the kid was buttering me up when we had a chat last night. I never expected him had practices s secret techniques to this degree. His interest in fighters is quite genuine! This kid keeps impressing me more and more! ” Duke Hail laughed.
 Even Daniel Ross and Liana were stunned by what they saw. They never expected Damon to have reached this level of proficiency with the shadowless flight. Talk less of choosing to use it in a mage battle.
 “You cheated! How dare you use a fighter technique in a battle of mages? Cheater!” Luthor screamed like a mad man!
 “Are you dumb or just stupid?” Damon responded while gazing at Luther as if he was speaking to an imbecile.
 “In a real fight, you would be dead right now so who would care whether I cheated or not? Last time I checked there are no rules against my actions... You are just weak” Damon shrugged his shoulders as he shoved both hands into his pockets and began walking away!
 His arrogance is something Luthor could not deal with! He had lived so long looking down on people but today he could only sit and watch as a nobody looks down on him in disgust!
 Unacceptable!
 How will he face his family if he lets this slide?
 “And who said you are allowed to leave!” Luthor bellowed as he rose to his feet a fierce power exploded from his body as another magic circle formed beneath his feet as the magic symbols began forming even faster.
 “I can leave whenever I choose to” Damon responded coldly as he didn’t even bother looking back!
 Arrogant!
 The ground beneath Luthor began turning black, spreading like a plague! It looked like a barren land spreading with Luthor as the originator and this made Damon frown.
 He could feel the chilly air of death spreading and surprisingly it felt good. His eyes were filled with contempt as they remained pinned on Luthor and not the two skeletons forcing their way out of the ground.
 They all looked like lifeless puppets, dangling loosely with a creaking sound with each movement that they made!
 Two undying?
 He is truly the prodigy of the Wright family! It is amazing that someone so young can possess the power to do this!
 Yea! If Damon attacked right away he would have won but now these two are here, it’s over for him!
 Many people threw their opinions around but Damon looked unmoved. Instead, he looked disappointed. All that’s waiting just to see this?
 He noted that the fight should be over already but the officials seemed to be turning a blind eye to things since they do not wish to get on the bad side of the Wright family.
ƒ𝗿e𝘦𝚠𝗲𝚋n𝚘ν𝙚𝗹.𝑐o𝙢 Even in an academy like this which should be fair and square, the influence of the nobles can still be found here. In fact, the corruption in the academy can be considered scary for kids with no background.
 Damon may be an alleged son of a baron but in this part of the county, Barons are no different from normal civilians with no status or power it wasn’t too surprising something that things would turn out this way.
 What was meant to be a spar quickly turned into a possible deathmatch where Damon would be fighting for his life. Daniel Ross and Liana were ready to interfere but they were already confronted by the people of the Wright family, yet the academy made no attempts to stop what was going on.
