Ethan’s steps paused for just a fraction of a second as he read them. His eyes flickered slightly, and a faint surprise passed through his expression.

"...All high-tier," he muttered under his breath.

But he did not stop.

The next moment, he moved again and reached the inner chambers.

As soon as he entered, a warm and slightly chaotic atmosphere greeted him. Soft voices overlapped, light laughter echoed in the room, and the faint cries of newborns filled the air. The scent of herbs and warmth lingered around.

Ethan’s gaze instinctively searched for Kassandra.

He found her quickly.

She was lying on the bed, her face slightly pale but calm, her breathing steady, and in her arms was a child.

Ethan stepped closer, his movements slower now. The moment his eyes landed on the baby clearly, he froze for a second.

The child had soft white hair that looked smooth and almost glowing under the light. His small face was delicate and perfectly shaped, with sharp features even at such a young age. His eyes were still closed, but faint traces of red could already be seen beneath his eyelids.

And on his forehead was a single small horn.

It curved slightly, smooth and dark, giving him an unusual but striking presence.

The child looked both beautiful and dangerous at the same time.

"...This kid..." Ethan murmured quietly, his voice low as he leaned in a little.

Before he could say anything more,a loud chime erupted from behind.

"Ahh! He looks so hot!" Sophia suddenly exclaimed, leaning closer with bright eyes and excitement.

Ethan blinked and turned slightly.

"...Hot?" he repeated, a bit confused. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Amber let out a soft laugh from the side, covering her mouth lightly.

"She means handsome," she said, her tone gentle.

Julia stepped closer as well, her eyes carefully observing the baby.

"The features are already so sharp... he’s going to be a troublemaker when he grows up," she said with a faint smile, folding her arms loosely.

Kassandra watched all of this silently at first.

There was a trace of tension in her eyes.

She had been worried.

Worried about how others would react. About the horn. About his appearance.

Her fingers tightened slightly around the child.

But as she watched their reactions—

That tension slowly faded.

"...You’re not bothered?" she asked quietly, her voice carrying a hint of hesitation.

Sophia immediately shook her head without thinking.

"Bothered? Are you kidding?" she said, reaching out carefully and brushing the baby’s cheek with her finger. "He looks amazing."

Amber nodded softly.

"He’s unique," she added. "That’s even better."

Julia gave a small nod.

"He’ll grow up strong," she said calmly.

Kassandra’s eyes softened, and her shoulders relaxed slightly.A quiet relief spread across her face.

"...Thank you," she said in a low voice.

Ethan stood beside them, watching everything silently.

Then he reached out and gently lifted the child into his arms.

The baby shifted slightly in Ethan’s arms but did not cry, and he held him with careful steadiness, supporting the fragile body while observing him closely with a quiet, assessing gaze.

"...There’s already a strong presence within him," he murmured, his voice low yet thoughtful.

A faint aura surrounded the child, and it remained stable and deep in a way that no ordinary newborn should possess, which made Ethan’s lips curve ever so slightly as a trace of approval surfaced in his expression.

"...Not bad at all," he added, almost under his breath.

After a brief pause, he gently returned the baby to Kassandra, and as he turned toward the others, his attention shifted to the remaining children who lay nearby.

There were more of them, and as he bent down slightly to observe each one, his expression softened without him realizing it, while tiny hands moved weakly and small breaths rose and fell in a fragile rhythm, carrying with them the faint signs of energy already beginning to form.

He reached out and lightly touched one of them, and his voice carried a quiet warmth as he spoke.

"You all look quite promising, my children," he said, his tone calm yet filled with a subtle sense of connection.

Time passed slowly as everyone gathered closer, and the atmosphere in the room became warm and peaceful, as if the presence of the children had brought a quiet sense of life and comfort to the space.

Then, after a moment of silence, Sophia turned her gaze toward Ethan again and asked gently, "Ethan, what should he be named?" while her eyes shifted toward Kassandra’s child.

Everyone’s attention followed her question, and as the room grew still, Ethan paused for a brief moment before looking at the baby once more.

The child’s white hair and red eyes stood out clearly, while the small horn and the calm yet dangerous presence surrounding him gave him an almost otherworldly aura.

Then, without hesitation, Ethan spoke.

"...Sameal," he said, and the name came out naturally, as if it had always belonged to the child.

Kassandra repeated it softly, testing the sound as it lingered in the air, and a faint, gentle smile appeared on her face as she spoke again.

"...Sameal... I like it," she said, her voice warm and filled with quiet affection.

Ethan then turned his attention toward the others, and after briefly glancing at the remaining children, he continued speaking in the same calm tone.

"For the others, Lucy, Eric, and Petro will do," he said, and although the names were simple, they carried a quiet weight that settled naturally into the room.

Sophia nodded with a soft smile and said, "Lucy sounds really cute," while Amber followed with a light smile of her own and added, "Eric feels strong and reliable."

Julia crossed her arms slightly as she gave a small nod and remarked, "Petro isn’t bad either," and her tone, though casual, carried approval.

Ethan exhaled slowly as he looked at all of them once again, and as his gaze moved across the children and the people gathered around them, the room felt full in a way that went beyond mere presence, because it was filled with warmth, life, and a quiet sense of belonging.
